Appetite For Destruction, She Swallowed It, Always Into Somethin, Findum F---um & Flee, and one of my all time favorites Approach To Danger... A TRUE classic! 💯
Favorite album in my collection. I spent extra on it. Entire thing flows like a dam broke loose. Absolute historical banger. I live in Maine and have a 40-50 minute commute to work. Whether 4am leaving the driveway or 3pm leaving work, this album never fails to bring me joy.
My favorite from the album was ‘Real Niggaz Don’t Die’. It bangs in the trunk, and Ren straight killed them lyrics with emotion while the bass boomed with clean, slick Dre production. Bangin’.
N*GGAZ4LIFE will always be that final NWA classic album. Listening to that album was like listening to show tunes with that gangster appeal. Them skits in between tracks were catchy and had me rolling! 😂 Salute! 🫡
One of my fav records ever. I still remember being 10 years old, writing down all the lyrics on paper in my Peechee folder, and memorizing it. You couldn't tell me I wasn't MC Ren back then lol.
*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !* _Tappin' in from South Central LA_ I'd recently relistened to ELIF4ZAGGIN and tripped out on how sonically cold that album was and still is. Maaaan ! 🤯
N#GGAZ4LIFE was the Precursor to the Chronic and Death Row G-Funk sound with the introduction of cinema-score, soul samples, explosive beats, tempos and skits comedy, sexual and aiming shots (diss).
Yes, I agree that it is Dre's best produced album. Dopest album ever; hard as f too. This was the first g-funk album. Every song was top-notch-awesome. I'd Rather, Appetite and Alwayz are some of the greatest rap songs of all time. My favorite album ever, of any kind of music.
When Niggaz 4 Life came out i think Nwa was tryin to out due Ice Cube's America's Most Wanted, And the Kill At Will EP. I remember how hard that Niggaz 4 Life album was bangin In the summer of 91''. Sometimes i always think what if Ice Cube would'nt have left Nwa back In those early days. I wonder what the ripple effect from that would have looked like up until this current time now!
Man this album 💿 takes me back to some great times, particularly it being released in 91, being from the CHI and the bulls winning their first championship right after the album’s release, I came out of middle school at that time, conditioning my mind and body to play football going into high school, wearing the baseball short sets lol , wearing Kouros cologne 😂, banging a@@ record
Ren was the hardest outta the group. Better than cube in my opinion. His verse on fuk tha police was HEAVY “ smoke any muhthafucka that sweats me , ANY ASSHOLE THAT THREATENS ME “
Ren lyrically was just as good as anybody. But at 15 cube had such a commanding voice it was hard for Ren to stand wit that…. EAZY wasn’t a rapper but his high pitch voice stood out and was special and distinct! Dr Dre Had a very commanding voice as well and his voice prolly fit the gangsta music the best….. DOC had what sum considered thee best voice in rap until his crash…. Ren had all the talent it’s just everybody else’s voice stood out more thru the test of time.
Funny thing is last month I was bumping this album in my basic car system, this album is 5 mics all day! The production, sonics, skits, etc. We talk about the Chronic , which was/is the shit but the Niggaz4life album has aged much better. Now, think about that with all the scratching and breakdowns i.e. bomb squadish, this album AGED very well IMO!
I love discussions like this, and it’s the truth. Efil4zaggin was Dre’s masterpiece. After that he started leaning into that harpsichord baroque sound which became his signature but never had the same musicality. Efil4zaggin is a hard one to beat.
You can easily argue this. Efil4zaggin is flawless production wise, and the live instruments, mix and mastering are all so clear. Personally, I'd go with Doggystyle. Til this day, that album, sonically, even tho it was done in the analogue era, still sounds better than anything out right now, which all has the benefit of being doing in the digital era.
Every one on that album stepped their game up. Dre and Yella on the producing. Eazy with his flow, Ren and DOC on the writing. It was a shame they broke up right after the album released cause that album musically was better than the first album.
Then you moved to Riverside!! Classic Cube line! MC Ren will always be hard though. It's comedy, same kats that talked sh*t about the IE, ended up moving to Corona, Murrieta LoL... just saying
When it comes to sound and production the N Word 4 life album is a million times better than Straight out of Compton! The N Word 4 life album has aged way better!
Dre only got better every time. If anything Hutch soaked up some of Dre. But Hutch is a factor, Black Superman is derivative from Dre. There is no Easy or Extension without Dre. But at the same time Hutch is Hutch, let’s ask him!
Agreed. Best Dre production. The Chronic was breakbeats too engulfed by more instrumentation than Straight Outta Compton and Niggaz4life. Chronic 2001 was its own beast. Perfection as well and definitely the culmination of Dre being able to blend East and West coast sound.
In reality. Niggaz 4 life was Dre last Hands on hands on production. After that the chronic and everything else he has a lot of other involved: he had some involvement but a lot of stuff he got credit for and wasn’t there for. So I’d say niiggaz for life his best work cuz in reality it was his last work. Hence why Tupac mentioned in one of his last interviews that it’s takin Dre 7 years just to make 1 beat and other guys gettin credit.
"Niggazfalife" the best rap group album of all time and it was the beginning of the best consecutive produced rap albums if all time from "Niggazfalife" to "Chronic" to "Doggystyle"
Dre always seem to get better the second time around. With NWA, Straight Outta Compton is a great album, kinda Public Enemy influenced with the production. Then Niggaz4Life, he upped the game sonically. Both albums sound totally different. Enter The Chronic, G Funk influenced by Above The Law. Great album. 2001, once again stepped it up sonically. The mixing on Niggaz4Life & 2001 are incredible.
Efil4zaggin was Dre and Yella best work period.Findum, Fuckum & Flee,Appetite for Destruction,Approach to Danger,Real Niggaz and Niggaz 4 Life. Now what beats on the Chronic or whatever are better than those????????Someone PLEASE tell me.Hell that's when everyone figured out that Dre was sonic ally better than everyone. That Album still sounds CRISPY!!!
"Alwayz into somethin" iz my chit!!!
THAT VIDEO IS DOPE AF TOO
Appetite For Destruction, She Swallowed It, Always Into Somethin, Findum F---um & Flee, and one of my all time favorites Approach To Danger...
A TRUE classic! 💯
Facts
Facts
Efil4zaggin was definitely NWA best album!
💯
Ren don't get the credit he deserves in my opinion
He definitely doesn't
I’m from Baltimore Maryland and REN was always the favorite back then he was just hard as hell 💪🏾💪🏾💯🔥
MC Eiht in the We Want Eazy video with a CMW hat on
hail yeah ✌🏿
Favorite album in my collection. I spent extra on it. Entire thing flows like a dam broke loose. Absolute historical banger. I live in Maine and have a 40-50 minute commute to work. Whether 4am leaving the driveway or 3pm leaving work, this album never fails to bring me joy.
Ren also had my favorite verse on the song " Hello" as well.
My favorite from the album was ‘Real Niggaz Don’t Die’. It bangs in the trunk, and Ren straight killed them lyrics with emotion while the bass boomed with clean, slick Dre production. Bangin’.
Crazy that Ren and Ice Cube were born a day apart in the same year of '69!
Got to give Ren his flowers, cause after Cube left it was all on Ren to write them hard hitting raps for Eazy E and Dr.Dre 💯💯
DOC was writing too
@Dro9291 THE D.O.C HAS BARS.
@@mountainrunner829and I've always maintained that The D.O.C. "No One Can Do It Better" is Dre best complete album
THE HARDEST NWA GROUP SONG : " THE GRAND FINALE " [ ON THE DOCS 1989 NO CAN DO IT BETTER ALBUM ( sample parliament chocolate city)
Mc Ren the final frontier come on now that shit still slap
I ran that ep in the ground, the intro on that album let's you know he was going to act a fool 💯💯
REN was my Favorite. The Villain in Black was HARD!!!
Ice Cube just had that voice that we'll tuned into but McRen was the only other person in the group that had the all around skills
Its time for a MC Ren interview
N*GGAZ4LIFE will always be that final NWA classic album. Listening to that album was like listening to show tunes with that gangster appeal. Them skits in between tracks were catchy and had me rolling! 😂
Salute! 🫡
Ren was the best rapper in 1991. Bar for bar. No one was touching Ren
You are absolutely right
Until No Vaseline Dropped
I actually like (Real Niggaz) better off the Niggaz 4 Life album
It got QUIET ON THA SET after that@@boxchevyrollin

Ren Cube and DOC lets not forget Doc pen as well
Chronic & Doggystyle and chronic 2001 D.O.C Wrote most of those albums
@@cassandraclark5499 and these are facts
Classic!! Still bumping it
If It Aint Ruff seems like it shoulda been big on the east coast. He was chewin foos up on that one

*Love & Respect MC Eight musical Knowledge* Evident in this interview
Love that album...
From NYC
I play this album every once in a while the production was phenomenal. Even after Cube left
N#GGAZ4LIFE was the Precursor to the Chronic and Death Row G-Funk sound with the introduction of cinema-score, soul samples, explosive beats, tempos and skits comedy, sexual and aiming shots (diss).
The intro was hard! Ren ripped it. The Album was perfectly mixed. The songs were in the right order. It had a flow!
That's my fave album man every song go crazy and Dre was rapping his as off
Really wish Ren would've dropped his solo during the "Straight Outta Compton" dayz. He was ready 2 go from tha jump
An MC Ren Dr. Dre produced album in '89 or '90 would've been special.
Yes, I agree that it is Dre's best produced album. Dopest album ever; hard as f too.
This was the first g-funk album. Every song was top-notch-awesome. I'd Rather, Appetite and Alwayz are some of the greatest rap songs of all time.

Hell ya. Effil4zaggin is with the chronic dr. Dres best production.
Ice Cube🔥🔥Need To Be Discussed
Shot Out To MC Ren. One Of My Favorite West Coast Artist. But Ice Cube Was Clearly The Stand Out Talent In NWA & The West Coast
Ren was the hardest outta the group. Better than cube in my opinion. His verse on fuk tha police was HEAVY
“ smoke any muhthafucka that sweats me , ANY ASSHOLE THAT THREATENS ME “
I agree I always loved REN that nicca was hard

Straight out of Compton, and the chronic made the most and biggest impact
You cant forget doggystyle
That was their Best Album By Far I Love that Album My Dog Ren was Snapping Dre and Easy Too Straight 🔥 Fire

Man!!! Let’s talk about We Come Strapped
Dope classic album
NWA Best album hands Down
Dr Dre Productions in that album was definitely on point
Always Into Something is Dre’s Best Beat IMO
🤔🤔 this a hard Take

MC Ren...

Versatility
Flow
Maaaaan, Ren was always that guy🔥🔥
I grew up on NWA and the production is amazing especially that Always into Something and Findum
Don't forget D.O.C. helped write....he wasn't in the group but he definitely wrote
Man I agree heavily with the MC Ren referrence, he was a top notch rapper.
' Same ol Shyt' one of my favorite songs
Seaside California in the building and yes it is
West coast @ its finest.

After replaying half of Parliments catalogue....never mind....too much discussion to be had.
Cube made them PUT THEIR BEST FOOT FORWARD ONCE HE LEFT
They had NO CHOICE BUT TO COME HARD
Cube was a great writer, where as Ren was a battle rapper... Dre's production style brought the best out of everyone!!!
This is an astute take. Spot on.
"DJ Yella" and Dr. Dre did their thing on that album!
Nigz4Life was the first hardcore rap album to rank number one on Billboard 200..did that without radio support back then 😎
Love that album but I wouldn’t count out the DOC album
Niggaz fo life was #1 album ever RIP KING OF COMPTON ERIC EAZY E WRIGHT 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
The production morphed the way beats were comprised. It also introduced that infamous whistle

That was definitely one of Dre's best produced albums. Very underrated for some reason by the masses
MC Ren's "Shock of the Hour" album was tough AF‼️
DR DRE BEST PRODUCTION IS ON THE CHRONIC .. DOGGYSTYLE .. THE CHRONIC 2001 ..
When it comes to sound and production the N Word 4 life album is a million times better than Straight out of Compton! The N Word 4 life album has aged way better!

I liked Ren over Cube in NWA. Cube had more overall creativity and charisma so he was able to go solo and Elevate. Ren seemed to hit his ceiling
Zaggin4Life & Livin' Like Hustlers by Above The Law was Dre's best production IMO
Is this another hot box session with b real we just chilling talking bout rappers secess
