Is the gasket sealer necessary? It doesn't seem like Honda used that at the factory when they assembled them the first time. If I was going to do it I'd get a small plastic syringe to suck it up then carefully lay the sealer right into the groove.
During the slide test, will the slide stay open if you stop blowing but keep the air port sealed? I just reinstalled both of mine but they leak down. I’m pretty confident they are sealed and intact.
at 11:56, you replace the mixture screw. On my mine, I have a black plastic cover that prevents me from turning it in either direction more than 355 degrees. Do we just cut/remove that plastic 'knob' from the top of the screw so we can remove it entirely and clean that orifice properly?
@@Common-motor I figured it out - it's exactly that. I just pulled/broke that 'cap' off and there it is. I didn't grab a picture before hand though. Sorry about that, if anyone else had the same issue. Thank you for your detailed and very helpful videos!
are you sure your not just turning the plastic covers over the brass ones. I thought mine were plastic until I snapped one and revealed standard underneath.
Thanks a lot , this is a big help indeed that nobody can find on manuals in this detail . You deserve 3796 likes .

Do you sell, JUST the Vacuum Port Plug?
Where can I find a straw-tipped fluid applicator like the one you use with MMO?

My 77 CJ360T has plastic idle mixture screws, is that normal? They don't seem to adjust like the brass ones I'm used to. Can they be swapped out?
