Tip:while crocheting a top a good stitch is half double, it's tighter so u don't see through it
Single is ACC tighter then hdc
I used half double crochets instead of double and it worked out really great!

i wanna make this! also, generally when you are crocheting in the round, you can slip stitch to the beginning of the row, then chain, and then keep crocheting:)

Also just a tip, if you want to try on pieces without seeing together just use stitch markers/safety pins to connect it together 😊

New subby my first time here. I've been crocheting since I was five and I'm 63 and I still struggle because I never learned to read patterns or any of that and I don't really pay attention sometimes. i have a suggestion for you: i have learned that some people just hold the crochet hook as you do, but try holding it like a pen the next time you crochet. personally, it feels easier to do, and my stitches look more even. that's the way i learned to crochet, but it might just be so because i'm from another country, and it's how we crochet here.

I think you did a great job with this video. The best part that I enjoyed was that you kept it to reality with all the mistakes and then you finding solutions to correct it to move on. In my reality sometimes the videos move way too fast that I end up making more mistakes, I get frustrated. You inspire to take that time to re-evaluate. Although I know this sometimes I need to hear it. Mahal I so much for your awesomeness. Now I'm going to attempt this project. 🧶

You’re doing a really great job, figuring out how to crochet, I think that’s awesome! I had to watch quite a few TH-cam videos to learn how to crochet, I’m glad I did. I’ve made some really nice Afghans. Actually I’ve never tried to make clothes but you’re quite the inspiration. I ordered some knitting needles, and the beginners book on knitting And I actually broke out my sewing machines, wish I had a surgery but you’ve inspired me to try to get back into sewing. I say try because the last time I saw something I think I was in junior high they don’t do that at school anymore? I think you’re awesome girl.😊❤
My brain was just sitting here beeping at me when you didn't start by crocheting in the round. I then saw your brain beeping when you figured that out lol
I'm glad you figured out how to add the sleeves and make the shoulder area wider to cover a bit more. Basically what would have worked best was to start one sleeve in the round, check the length to reach underarm and then continue working flat with the same stitch count used for sleeve until you reached the other underarm and back to working in the round until wrist. Hope this makes sense to you. Basically you work that piece wrist to wrist, round-flat-round.

The best way to do a top is a front and back. ,Always use a slip stitch,then chain one if your doing single crochet,or two chain stitches if going onto a double crochet then you get a seamless seam if doing it in rounds.
Next time start on the sleeve from the top and attach under arm, then work down,normally people leave 6-7"( inches),so in this case you'd add a shoulder part and work in your rounds and start to decrease from elbow downwards.

I'm working on a top at the moment and realised I've not quite enough yarn by 8 rows front and back so I'm making my own colour way to make it interested and look intended, and I'll match the back so its the same. Xxx
