I just completed installing a new heating element for my whirlpool wed92hefc0 dryer following your steps. Thx for the tips, Works like new now! I do wish the element was in an easier spot to get to but you walked me right through it. Took a total of less than an hour and a half.
I have a whirlpool wep85hefwo dryer and a repairman said I needed a new element and cut out and that it would cost over $700 fro him to do the job and that I should just get a new dryer. Watching this vid makes me wanna just do the job myself! I just need the parts
It’s not hard at all. Probably hardest thing is getting the belt on and off. I’ve used this video 2x now. Both times the element went bad. This time I found a clog in the dryer exhaust tube. Replaced the element and just made an appointment for the gentleman to come out and clean the dryer vent/exhaust (the pipe that sticks out the roof). Thinking this is the cause for the element to go bad year or so later

Thank you thank you! So helpful!!!!
Subd. Excellent tutorial.
It's totally unnecessary to dismantle the entire dryer to replace the coil that can be accessed by removing the lower front panel.
Holy.... This is painful to watch, to access the element in other models, its just a panel in the back, not this nonsense. But thanks for the video!
