Really love the foundry, as a suggestion for the fire brick to shape better, I would use a power sander with a high grit for rough shaping then a small-to medium by hand to round off better

Only thing missing is ITC HT100 that is the height temperature refractory coating to go over the cement and cure it completely. It will reduce fuel consumption and increase the heating capacity of the foundry. And your foundry will last longer too. 🙏blessings abundant yall Crawford out 🧙♂️

It would just make bronze that's full impurities that make it bad for any kind of use. Pewter is already a tin alloy.
