Spider-Man 2099 definitely was my favorite next to spider punk but Miguel had a year and four months so he probably bulked up with all the fighting he’s been doing for the multi-verse
Yeah, it's like the Atlas character. Carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. His shoulders are fucking jacked because he destroyed an entire world.
I like that the movie shows that Miles got bigger because of his time as Spider-Man. And if Miguel's been the "only one keeping it all together", our Spanish-Irish man has gotten the body of a man with the whole Multiverse on his shoulders.
It also helps that Miguel doesn't stick to walls, he actively has to use his claws to climb them. Which probably gives his wall "crawling" some extra intensity other spider-folks don't have
As a kid I always thought Miguel’s different Spider-Man powers were lamer, until I realized the Yujiro Hanma-tier back training my man does in comparison to the other spiders😭
I like instead of flips, kicks, and rapid punches like most other spidermen, Miquel is more focused on raw power and using claws to grab and scratch. He also uses his web-shooters more like mortal kombat Scorpion’s chain-dart. “GET OVER HERE.”
That's why I've always loved Miguel, most unique spider that's still kind of basic. His comics are also my favorite nonpeter Spider-Man comics, u should read em/listen to a TH-cam read em
He also went through trauma during the time skip and started dedicating himself to not only saving his world but all others. It also shows in his personality and suit between the movies.
I actually think the post credit scene is before he tried to live his alternate’s life. They mention how that jump to the 67 earth was the very first attempt to be done by someone purposely. So he does that, meets his daughter, then loses her. Obsessing over something like that would drive him to be stronger, and seeing as how busy he tends to be and how often he probably misses meals (they mention how hangry he tends to get) So my guess is that he’s so built because he’s obsessively working out, and probably just having quick and calorie dense protein shakes and the like before going off to fight various anomalies and recruiting various spiders. Also look at how HUGE spider society is in terms of numbers, he must be going all over the place pretty much constantly
could be that, but also he was injecting himself with something in the movie, not too sure if it gave him an extra boost in strength. in the comics he only needed one dose to get his powers and they haven’t further explained why he takes those boosters so it’ll be brought up in the next movie for sure. not too clear if that’s the reason why he’s buff but a lil theory
@@uzulous Great Theory, but I think it's actually a serum/antidote to an genetic addiction that was given to him as a victim of an experiment just like in the comics.
It's Nice to see Miguel get the silver screen he deserves Fun Fact: Spider-Man Unlimited was so supposed to focus on Miguel as Spider-man, but Fox Kids and Marvel Studios didn't want to go toe-to toe with Batman Beyond on KidsWB at the time among other legal things. #MiguelFuerte
@@JaxBlade IKR ?! They wanted a spider-man in a dystopian setting like 2099 which counter-earth provided, I wish we got a conclusion to symbiote war arc. Cliffhanger's can be a bitch.
Honestly, the physical shift that Miguel ahs in the movie compared to the comics, for how radically different it is, I LOVE IT! I think it shows just how much of a beast he really is, especially when you realize the powerhouses of a Rouge's gallery he's up against compared to most other alt universe Spiderman's Side note: Miguel aka Spiderman 2099 has always been my favourite alternate universe spiderman since I was 10, now seeing him on the big screen, just makes me more hype to see others get a chance to be introduced to (imo) the most badass spiderman varient
Aye how can I get into watching the alt verses? I been watching Spider-Man all my life but I think since I never read the comics for dc and marvel im out of the loop
MiguelFuerte! One of the things i loved about this version of 2099 is that he's intimidation and how every time he speaks, or when he's chasing Miles there's this overwhelming sense of dread/presence to him that makes into one of my favorite hero antagonist.
Agreed, I think this is the best design Spider-Man 2099 has ever had yet! I dig the textures other iterations have done, especially the past Spider-Man games like Shattered Dimensions and 2018 PS4 to make it look advanced tech-y. But the complete redesign of the Spider symbol had me floored! Granted in the story it was just a Day of the Dead costume, but to think of a dedicated for self defense and protection outfit, it's so sick that they really leaned into it being much more spider-like. That and the cape and forearm blades being hard-light constructs that can disassemble any time is even cooler!
Miguel was fucking badass in this movie. Vicious brooding panther of a man. Love how he ran on all fours during fight scenes. Dude's built like a house.
Miguel definitely has the best v-taper compared to the rest of the other Spiderman's, very close to a 10 out of 10 aesthetic physique. Seeing a back focused Miguel TLTT workout would be great 👍
Please man I would love to see a Tough like toonz based on him. I imagine that he would use gymnastic rings in his training ? Maybe Im a little biased (since I personally use them lol), but the rings can make you yoked and they also train your stability, which is something that spiderman needs and is also a bit harder to train with weights (in comparison to rings). Ofc its just a suggestion. As for the film, I frickin love it. As someone who really loves spiderman, I enjoyed that they incomporated a lot of references/easter eggs and also it felt awesome to always notice some little details. For the characters, the ones that standed out to me the most are Miguel, Spot, Gwen, Miles (obviously). Miguel made for a fantastic antagonist, since he was just trying to not make the same mistake that he did in a past. Spot went from 0 to 100 real quick and I love that they used "basic villain" and background character from the last movie and made them the same character. Gwen finally had a bit of backstory and we can understand her a bit more now thanks to that. Miles fell off a bit from the main stage in comparison to the first movie, but it makes a perfect sense, since this movie isnt centered around him that much, but he still does everything wonderfully and I like that he tries to sticks to the spiderman code of "saving everybody" and stands up to the whole spider society. Of course art style is amazing, same goes for the music. IMO one of the best second movies ever released. It builds up and provides information for the final movie and it keeps you entertained and glued to the screen. In short, I adore everything this movie offers. Also, MiguelFUERTE.
The movie was so good! I already watched it twice. My favorite scenes are a tie between when Spider-Punk showed Miles how to break out of the trap or when Gwen told her her dad she is Spider-Woman. The background colors were breathtaking and added so much to the emotion to the context of the scene. I would love to see a remastered Spider-Man TLTT video! Spider-Man is my body goals so that would be a great watch!
MiguelFUERTE Hard to pick just one but I always look for that big Spider-Man moment where they have to really put what they learned to the test. So the helicopter scene Miguel, Gwen and spider woman stopping the helicopter. And the collapsing building with Hobie and Pavitr. Something about every move and interaction being in perfect sync 👌🔥
I love the TLTT series and a Miguel O’Hara episode would be so sick 🙏🏽 I’ve been doing em pretty much since high school and was one of the things that really got me into working out. Love your stuff man Fr
2099 has been my favorite spiderman since edge of time released! I would love to see a Miguel TLTT. My favorite part was definitely the train scene at the end but the whole movie was spectacular! MiguelFuerte!
I like Miles Morales because he’s the main protagonist and I love his suit choice the symbol on his chest is a great design and his powers, camouflage and bio electricity from his body and the film was awesome itself! Like you said everything in the movie was literally artwork and I love the music that was in there it was such a beautiful piece.

But, is such a goof when trying to show Gwen how he has developed as SpiderMan. Great video, thank you!!!

Favorite iteration of 2099 was the video game Spider-Man: Edge of Time. But this iteration of 2099 is a FUKING BEAST the minute he came on screen. The one Spider I’ve been waiting to see on screen forever.🔥🔥🔥
Pre watch: I think what Miguel has been taking is Rapture. The drug he was addicted to in the comics that forced him to become Spidey. That or something to balance his cells out due to his DNA being made half spider
My favorite scene is when miles found out that he's the prowler in earth 42, and the way the prowler version said: "im miles morales" and what topped that off for me was his accent, it mad him sound like a total bad ass. My second favorite scene is when miles is being chased by all the spidermen and he says: evryone is telling me how MY story is supposed to end nah, ima do my own thing", that part really showed gow miles was done with following the rules and had found his own way -nice-👌👍
I would love a miguel workout ! As soon as i saw him on screen i tought of your tough like the toons series because i would like to achive that frame. Keep up the good work mate :)
MiguelFuerte! One thing I haven't seen been brought up by anyone so far is that the movie actually had the balls to show Miguels use of drugs like does in the comics. In the comics Alchemax tricks him into taking a drug called Rapture and after that he has to take said drug to basically stay alive, its a tiny moment but I am impressed that they read up on the character to that level.
MiguelFUERTE My favorite scene was either when Miguel was lecturing everyone in the room and handed Mayday back to Peter or Miguel getting his hands on Miles and bodying him A Miguel tough like the toons would be awesome
A tough like the toons for Miguel would be awesome!! Your tough like the toons is my favorite TH-cam series, and any workout about getting a big back is one I want to try
Funny that you called Miguel a blue Venom because for those of you who don’t know, Flipside, an android designed to adopt the powers of the first superhero it encountered, combined Venom and Spidey’s powers in order to mimic Miguel when they first met, which pretty much resulted in a weird yandere spider-venom thing.

Miguelfuerte all the way man! This is my favourite Spidey movie along with the first Into The Spider Verse movie and I love the attention to detail in it, especially to Miles's and Miguel's physique
2:58 Miguel just let out his inner Lotus 💀💀💀
