Hi Ritchie, wow. What a great build, the engine is just ingenious. Like yiu said, a kit in a kit. Would love to see this company make an engine model all by itself, in the large scale, would be brilliant. Keep up the great work, cheers.
great work on an outstanding kit, wish Zoukei-Mura or border would do 1 /32 or 1/35 Focke-Wolfe 190. Have a safe and happy holiday Richie, thanks for sharing your posts
You shouldn’t be able to watch this yet. Naughty TH-cam. It is unlisted for my Patreons to watch later this month. Did it show up on a playlist? Glad you enjoyed it. Lol
@@RWHobbies Actually I'm in IT and know how to get around things (Hi TH-cam). I don't usually look at the content but this subject is very interesting!!.😉... Actually you've been a great sport about it, I'll join up. See you om the other side. 🤑
David R Lentz, Columbus, Ohio, USA (Friday, 30 August, 2024) I generally focus on USA and British Second World War combat aircraft. However, Germans are renowned for their superlative engineering, and this offered me the opportunity for a good look. I am new to Zoukei-Mura model kits, so I wished to see further of their methods of kit making and parts detailing. At round 13:50 of your video, you mention using various metallic paint colours to detail the kit’s Daimler Benz DB 605 inverted V-12 engine. I have some idea as to what you mean about talking too fast. More substantively, the abbreviation you seek is "RLM", which is the German abbreviation for "Reichsluftfarthministerium" (Reich + luftfahrt + ministerium, meaning "Imperial air service ministry"). Some years past, whilst building Tamiya’s 1:24-scale kit of the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia automobile, I did much the same to the entire engine and transmission; it wound up requiring round a dozen different colours, including satin black for the engine block itself, with dry-brushing in gunmetal; then, for everything else in the compartment, steel, aluminium, silver, etc. The results had astonished me that I had shown it to all my neighbours and visitors.
this is a must have kit by far
The best bf 109, kit that I've ever seen . I ,agree with you it's beyond amazing.

Excellent info on painting the engine - very useful as l start my 109 ( Eduard) wifh excitment and trepidation.
Zoukei-Mura has some VERY nicely detailed kits. I just got their 1/48th scale Horten 229 yesterday.
My first one, but enjoyed it very much. Have a great weekend
If your lucky enough to get them in early batches lol. My P-51 looks like it was molded in the 60's.
Great start to another awesome build. Have a wonderful Christmas Richie. Merry Christmas to you and your family..
Thanks and same to you. Merry Christmas.

Is it possible to have the cowl-covers sitting there as if closed but not glued so you can lift them off to show details?
Sorry built this model several years ago and sold to a collector. I would say anything is possible with some micro magnets.
Hi Richie great build... The mount piece missing you could scratch build from plastic strips if the piece was devoured by the floor monster 😀

I want that Messerschmitt.
Hey Richie - wow the details are amazing! It’s gonna look fantastic once completed - a few more hours?
Thanks. Happy holidays
@@RWHobbies the same to you and family
Hi Ritchie, do you have extra info on Zoukei Mura 1/6 scale DB engine? Google knows nothing about it, as well as official ZM website :(
No idea. All their concept and pre-production news should be in their blog... www.zoukeimura.co.jp/en/sentiment/oyajiblog_128.html
...весомый проект...
Happy holidays
