I'm not sure why this just appeared in my feed 3 years later 😂 but... I have the H&S Infinity CR+ 0.2mm - and a couple of Procons! If you had problems with the CR+ blocking, you were either not thinning the paints enough or you had a faulty one - which is very surprising for an H&S but not impossible. The Procons are made in the same factory that makes Iwatas, but it's not an Iwata factory - its a company called Rich. Tamiya ABs are also made there! A few Iwata/Procon/Tamiya parts are interchangeable but not many. I own the H&S Infinity CR+ 0.2mm, Badger SOTAR 20/20*, and both the Procon PS-270 & 289 so not biased in any one direction.

Eduard must have figured that since this is for the Revell Tornado…an “extra” challenge would be par for the course. I wish we could get a Tamiya Tornado!

c'est vrai il y a une trop grosse différence de prix le Revell avec les addon's revient moins cher et entre gr1set 4 il n'y a pas de grosses différences. il suffit de se documenter sur le net c'est opulence .par contre les addon pour le cockpit sont chers surtout chez quinta j'ai les eduard look qui sont moitié prix cela suffit largement A force de vendre les addon's presque aussi cher qu'une maquette de base cela va ecoeurer les modéliste, ça devient un loisirs de riches. J'ai le f-16 c d'academy au 1/32 payé 70 euros il y a 10 ans, le tamiya valais déjà 130 euros, là aussi avec les addons il m'est revenu mois cher de40 euros à l'époque J crois que les importateurs se sucrent.

Hi did you ever build the jeep with the resin conversion ??? I built the jeep with no issues but i had many problems with the resin parts from sol, the instructions were horrible just caveman type pictures with no real clear clue where parts go , then an issue with size of the extra rear wheel it was smaller then the kit wheel and i feel the vickers were smaller in scale and so was the 50 cal. The kit i bought had the twin vickers pintal mount which was shorter, but then i realized it was way off when i tried to have the figure lean on the gun as in the picture. For the price of the jeep and the conversion and the figures it doesn’t add up

I just got a procon platinum as a gift, as I have been always eyeing an Iwata for a long time, so I appreciate the commentary on the differences, did not know they came from the same factory!

Just got my kit the other day. Great kit overall but I am disappointed that they do not have a flaps up option like they do with the A and B. I really thought that would be how this kit would be.

The kinetic mrap is a little on the chunky side. The gaps in the doors and hood are huge. Bronco does a challenging version themselves with far better fit and accuracy

Can't wait to see how that Stadium turns out even though it isn't really my cup of tea. Hope you enjoy your holidays and can't wait to see more content in the new year.

Thanks for the update Richie. That Kinetic MRAP thing looks interesting. I didn't even know that Kinetic did 1/35 stuff. The Facebook Group? I guess it depends on whether you want to continue featuring some of our builds in your update videos in the future. I guess FB is the only way for you to get our photos of our builds etc. Apart from maybe messages on Patreon etc.

I just got this kit and I'm super confused as to why the box says Level 5 while the manual says Level 3. Any ideas?

Airbrush at a cut price from that marketplace? Absolutely don't do that. More often than not, they are fake; simple test - if you can find it on Ali Ex (and you can find many Iwatas there) then only buy from a reputable dealer. As for Gaahleri & Neoeco, I wouldn't touch them at all just on principle with they way they've dumped them on YT channels..

The marking options are GREY, GREY, GREY and GREY lol. I would do the one that has the MARINES markings in RED to get a bit of colour on it.

am still waiting for release in UK looks amazing. Might be an idea to display it over a mirror to see all that weapons bay detail!

@RW Hobbies do not sand the canopy seams. They are intentional because the represent the detonation cord for the canopy ejection system you use thr seams as a guide for decal placement.

Great to see all your work this year...my favourites are the Hurricane, Mig-25 and F-14. It would be a hard choice if I had to pick one, but that Hurricane is a beaut! 😊

Some great builds there Richie. I have only completed 3.5 kits this year lol. The half finished kit being the classic Tamiya 8 ton Semi Track AA gun. I have completed the Semi Track. But still have to paint up the 5 crew figures. Keep putting them off because I am crap at figure painting.

Looks really good! But you are right in that it's a bit hard to tell the difference between the camo colors, the worn down look is still pretty cool regardless

Building into a nice Tornado! Really wish that a better kit would come around, a Tamiya Tornado? Ha! German engineering, really overly complicated for no need. What modeler doesn’t like a challenge!

Maybe one to add to your next Temu order Richie...search for Silicone Craft Mats. I use one to line the base of my spray booth. It's good as your not burning through paper towel and van chuck it in the dishwasher or hand wash it - comes out like new. Also traps overspray dust kind of well.

Hi, I wanted to give this Revell kit I've bought on amazon to a friend of mine as a gift; since he has no modeling tools (such as paint, glue, or any other instrument you're using), could you please give me a list of the basic additional things I should buy for him to be able to build a good model?
