For my MAC users. Max sure you reformat your flash drive to FAT. Not EXFat. Also when you reformat you have to erase everything on the flash drive so save the individual files, reformat to FAT then move the files back onto the flash drive.
I have a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland high altitude when I put the usb in two months ago it kept saying iso was unsupported or something like that I gave up I added music to the same usb and connected it and gave me the same error so I started driving around and decided to see if it the music I added worked one more time and it gave me the update option and I started the process took about 15 mins came back to this video and checked that everything was correct and it’s completed it finally worked 😎 thanks for the info my guy
Just did it🥳🥳 just remember to CLICK & DRAG the files from the folder to desktop screen then delete EVERYTHING from USB then click and drag just the files from the desktop back to the USB and you’re golden!!!

What do I do if the “view available updates” doesn’t show up after the “UPDATE AVAILABLE” screen? I’ve reached this screen multiple times, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten each time.
I had so many issues now fixed. 2014 Jeep Cherokee, stock software . Trying to update Jan 2024. Initially tried using my 256g flash drive with software loaded. The Jeep wouldn’t recognize it. Found an old USB 2.0 sandisk cruzer glide 16 gb. Did a quick reformat to fat32. It errored out 3 times. Asking me to Remove and reinsert flash drive. I had to do a long full reformat that took multiple hours. While that was going on I turned off the car . When the flash drive completed its long reformat I directly exported the zip files to the usb stick. Started the Jeep beck up and after a couple min it asked me to put the flash drive back in . Put the freshly reformatted USB flash drive with the directly exported zip files into the usb port. Updated first try no issues. Hope that helps

My 2015 300 does the same thing. It works tho when I put in a address, but if I just have the map on the little car will just keep going straight on the map. Going through lakes, fields and whatever

Mine doesn’t want to update, nothing really pop up, I have the 18.43.01 version and I downloaded the .45 version but when I insert the usb it doesn’t do anything.
I called connect they told me mine was due 8 update but when I look up vin it says up to date. Customer service rep said the site was glitching out and didn't know when it would work again
I have problem when my phone is plugged in through usb. I can’t use any plate form besides Apple Music cause it just skips. I try TH-cam and it stops immediately and Spotify just skips through the songs
@@chriseddy8141 you realize that your comment makes no sense right. Early versions of Uconnect don't have Apple car play or Android Auto. Which are in Uconnect's new software. They could easily update their old vehicles to have it. The question was did they? The answer is NO. ...but that doesn't make you any less of an idiot.

So it came up on my display screen an update was needed. I was driving came home turned off my van and now my radio uconnect camera etc nothing is working. I typed in my VIN and it says my system is up to date. Any ideas ? Oh and it is Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 2010
HERE IS A TIP! I tried with 2 different, first with a multiuse usb and SD card BUT it’s working right now with a usb normal with only one connection, it’s the correct usb that you have to use 👍🏻
@@AnonymousPersonAP no the map you have to pay for a disc to update that they will send to you. Everyone has phones with map so this seems moot anyways, especially since they are nickle and diming for the price of the map upgrade software I'd rather just use my phone. As for what else is being updated I'm not sure. It says for my car that the software is up to date which I'm not sure I believe. I'll have to check later.
My 2016 Durango R/T is saying I have v18.45.01, but that Uconnect website says there is an update for my vehicle. Does Uconnect release new revision updates for v18.45.01? been having pretty major Bluetooth connection problems for a year or two, possibly since I updated to v18.45.01
I also had radio issues, the XM disappeared and I couldn't use any of the am or FM radios, you can plug in the same version of the software and it will ask you if you want to reinstall it and you can choose to do so to see if it helps you... also one of the comments above said that clearing personal data help them with something too

Once that loaded which took a couple of hours to complete seemed fine on a neighborhood drive. Wife then drove her Cherokee to a store 25 miles away and had issues with some of the Apps that were on the system prior to the upload. The Travel link system seems to be the app with the most problems. The Fuel Prices does not run anylonger, and when she was on the interstate system told her speed limit was 45 MPH. Back to the drawing board..
Did you take all the files out of the folder before moving them onto the flash drive? I moved the whole folder onto the flash drive and it wouldn’t work until I took the individual files out

Just leave it connected for like 5 minutes and eventually its gonna work. I just did that and it worked.
