I've never managed to record when I slap a plane out of the sky with my airframe. I swear it's possible as long as you keep relative motion between planes as little as possible. You can sacrifice a wingtip to break the prop
I've never done it on purpose but many a time on accident. Especially with WW1 busses. And given that I survived it once or twice in a flippin Camel or Albatros I recon a BF109 could take it easily. I applaude you trying it, see you in Valhalla, Mate :)
@@ThunderBatSims Yeah thats a good one, but I usually don’t do it on purpose, most of the time I got surprised by some idiot turning head on into me and try to evade. To various degrees of success. And usually I sacrifice my Prop to kill their wings, but am able to glide over the lines and bring the bus down on a field. I do remember trying the wheels thing once or twice, but I don’t think it ever worked on purpose, but since the AI is pretty suicidal in flying circus I really don’t need purpose, just luck. It’ll happen every other mission anyway ^^
@@cyberfutur5000 That's why i like putting my wingtip into the prop to break it, you can usually fly home after. It's definitely possibly to body check a plane and take no real damage, but you have to be very gentle, and it doesn't always stall out the enemy
Great video! They keep getting better and better. Also great use of that Homer Simpson logic of "this ain't bullet holes, they are speed holes!" A shame your last act didn't uhm.. quiet work out. But I guess your Pilot would have been penalized for the Barnstorm any way, so well done, I guess.
That was a reckless first move. Never go after the guy that dives away, while others are above. If it was not AI, you would likely be be dead. Instead of rolling after him and offering your 6 to his mates, you should have killed the one you had in crosshairs and then maintain angle/energy advantage or zoom out.
Treating AI like players leads very boring videos, and I don't even bother to edit those. I have tons of footage of boring 60 minute sorties where I play conservatively, never spot a good target and decide not to attack any of them the whole time. Singleplayer while recording is an entirely different game, the physics are tied to frame rate so input is a little delayed and controls get bouncy, so lining up low aspect shots takes way longer than it should. Against players I actually have to think about speed and usually just land rounds while zooming by, which is incredibly easy in VR. The problem is that I simply cannot record while maintaining a playable frame rate in VR for multiplayer, TrackIR makes me feel blind
