Fun Fact: Gamer's Hell gave this game a *better* score than they gave New Vegas. (this got a 74/100, New Vegas they gave a 70/100, saying that the loading times were hell)
Reallly? My main beef was that after the first 20minutes you had basically seems everything that game had to offer, new Vegas atleast has factions, branching story paths, and lots of replayabaility, that blow my mind haha
New Vegas was buggy af when it first launched. Had New Vegas launched recently there’s a good chance it would’ve been one of those failed, buggy launches
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1&2 were potion chug-fests, so it's no surprise the key to success is stimpaks. Though the Dark Aĺiance games were overall better.
Watching you suffer through this one (occasionally anyways) was an interesting time. Cain was absolutely the right choice of character. The real problem with the game is the lack of variety. It's kind of like why I never really liked the Dark Alliance games on PS2: After 20 minutes of hack and slash, you've seen everything that the game has to offer. Good on you for completing it though. Looking forward to the next stream as always.
For the most part I had fun playing this game but the maps are hard to navigate, the game is repetative, and it just does a shit job being a FALLOUT game. It might have been better recieved if it wasn't a Fallout title but it's still not a well-made game.
Hmm. I'm currently playing through the fallout games from 1 up to the newer ones and been debating on this one in particular. Might play this one later on as a standalone game of sorts and just gloss over the "fallout" title
I’ve never played dark alliance, but I didn’t mind this game, I think one of the major gripes people had was just that it wasn’t what they were used to at the time
I was a kid when i played this game i thought it was kinda cool, also was one of the few games i had so i found every single hiden treasure, weapons and armours, and when i got tired i passed the game in the highest difficulty with my character just using underwear because i didn't feel it was challenging at all, I loved the weapon and armour concepts and that you can play as a ghoul
I think a lot of the weapons are actually super unique , like the fire blades gauntlets or even the energy weapons, and the locales are very interesting
I didn't play the game at all. But instead I read the wiki and I personally think the story is great but the gameplay is just terrible, if someone would make a mod for Fallout: New Vegas or Fallout 3 that had the story of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel It would be such a good game.
I think that, the game isnt THAT BAD, its just painfully mediocre. The gameplay style has some potential, and I wish someone could make a new fallout spinoff in the same sort of gameplay style with more variety and stuff. It doesnt have to be perfect, but it needs to at least be a good game.
A improve remake or a fanmade mod remake by using Fallout New Vegas engine would nice. Just reuse voice clips and other assets, and recreate locations places and cast, improve and tweak the story abit, and additional side fun missions, with some better combat and maybe add some friendly npcs companions to hire.
@@krisisgaming Yeah just a few tweaks and rebalance, I can see it working, might be more fun game with a janky story, not if fans can slightly improve the story too.
Yes yes it does. I bought FBOS for like 2 bucks at a yard sale a few years ago and as a Gauntlet Legends or Diablo clone it's playable. As a Fallout game however to quote AVGN Who came up with this? What were they thinking? While I like the idea of playing as a ghoul (who by default isn't cured by or immune to rads) I highly doubt any BOS chapters would accept abominations joining their ranks. Did you forget to grab that loot from the last level you beat? Well sucks to be you because once you beat an area that area no longer exists. Want to slow down that ghoul that's chasing you by shooting it in the leg? Too bad VATS isn't in the game. This game deserves all the hate it gets and infinity more.
It just seems really weird to go this route when they literally could’ve just made fallout 2 in the same engine and changed the movemnt controls, and I totally agree , it’s playable and at first I had fun, but it does overstay it’s welcome very quickly without wver really doing what fallout is known for.
Vault 1's experiment was testing the players patience
It certainly seemed that way haha

New Vegas was buggy af when it first launched. Had New Vegas launched recently there’s a good chance it would’ve been one of those failed, buggy launches
Because New Vegas was broken at release.
"everyone tries to leave." the most perfect delivery of such a statement of truth.
Haha I’ve never m, until I played this game with chat, heard of anyone defending this game
patrolling the towns of carbon almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
Oh don’t worry nuclear winter is coming soon haha
Critics gave it a 66/100 on Metacritic, meaning that it was considered just about mediocre at the time
That’s the thing, it’s not the worst game ever, it’s just different , and some parts get a little lazy, but it’s not terrible
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1&2 were potion chug-fests, so it's no surprise the key to success is stimpaks. Though the Dark Aĺiance games were overall better.
All true

Thanks for hanging out with me, tonight’s stream will be more familiar, but I’m testing I actually think it’ll be one of the hardest runs to date
I'd play this game and enjoy back in the day. For hours and hours mindlessly
As a kid, I would’ve played this and not thought twice about it haha
Dark alliance with guns, I like it.
Is it just me or does krisis actually sound excited when he's doing his voice over
I have to add inflection into my voice, otherwise i sound unimpressed and quiet haha

Agreed, I think that fallout title is where the majority of hate comes from
I liked BOS it reminded me a lot of Dark Alliance 1 and 2 and i loved those games
It isn’t bad if you go in expecting a fallout game, but I can see why most people write it off, mainly because it doesn’t feel like fallout
Hmm. I'm currently playing through the fallout games from 1 up to the newer ones and been debating on this one in particular. Might play this one later on as a standalone game of sorts and just gloss over the "fallout" title
It would be cool if this game got a remake and fixed alot of the problems
i would love to see a remake of this
This will only make sense if the game stays in its own style and is just as fun
At least it's not fallout 76
i mean, dark alliance was fucking awesome, and this looks exactly like dark alliance, so i mean why wouldn't it be awesome?
I’ve never played dark alliance, but I didn’t mind this game, I think one of the major gripes people had was just that it wasn’t what they were used to at the time
Morrowind playthrough when?
We can do that , any kind of rules?
@@krisisgaming Enchanting only. The only real way to play.
missed live but still good content
Thank you!

the graphics arent what ruin it for me, but that god damm camera angle.
I can deal with the camera angle but I get that it’s not for everyone, but the game as a whole isn’t really fun past the first 2 hours or so
@@krisisgaming yeah it didn't look fun at all lol
@@krisisgamingngl, watching this video gave me slight motion sickness, idk whats with the camera angle but the fov is wayyy too tight.

It’s a little wack

What a banger game
Great vid
Thank you!

still me: "But I love the franchise, so I'll watch this anyways."
That’s how I watch videos too haha
So "Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel" had almost nothing to do with the Brotherhood of Steel..
Yes, yea indeed
It was my first Fallout game! Technically this horrible game did its job since it made me interested in the other games.
Hey, that a win in my book hah

Howdy
Hello there
I thought it was funny. Great to me. the first games were full of treats and goofball views so I loved it.
I thought the humour was silly, and so over the top that the whole game was a good time, a bit repetitive but a good time
