I have always loved drawing so digital drawing I found out is perfect for me! I love your videos and you are the first TH-camr I go to for anime drawings. Thank you for your awesome work and helping out us newbies! I wanted to mention that my first tablet I hated because I couldn't coordinate my hands and eyes on two different things at once. I had bought a cheap 50 dollar one with no screen. I gave it to my son. I bought a Veikk and so far I LOVE this tablet. I got one with a screen and it makes my job so much easier. I also learned that drawing on a tablet vs drawing pad is very different so I take my time using both as practice. I think as budding artists, it's good to use both mediums not only for practice but also for differing ways of looking at the same thing as well as feel.

I used to have a computer that would crash and delete all my files, to this day I regret not uploading them to the cloud. 5. Do not use stabilizer. I realize I'm contradicting the video, but if you use stablilizer it will make your drawings look more stiff.

I literally have like four different art programs on my computer. 2 were paid for and 2 were free and from what I can tell, you can make amazing art with whatever program your computer can handle (if you want to start digital art). Then I was able to branch out from there.

Wow! In my opinion (Maybe in everyone’s opinion) you drew so good!! Btw, can you try drawing on ibisPaint X? It’s a really fun drawing place ;-; You could look at other people’s drawings when your done! :D
I have a wacom drawing pad I think the color is like avocado and here's a tip you have to have at least some coordination to use drawing pads. If you have literally no coordination if you're not looking where you're putting your pen then drawing pads aren't for you lol I find it pretty easy and I got it about a month ago for m birthday and I love it! I find it fun to do art irl and THEN make it digitally! I use Krita and I always use at least 15-20 layers for: 1:Line art 2: coloring 3:shading (Moving that above coloring) 4:Background base colors (I've gotten better at that lol) 5:Adding lighting and other things(Top layer) So here is the order I have #5 #3 #1 #2 #4
Because you Don’t need a pen you can add layers change the brush and size change the opacity add glowing layers select something to move it select something in select so you can only colour in that bit remove the selection bucket move layers draw with your finger lightly do any thing you want with it really or yeah and the pro way of selecting and moving objects with also works for only colouring there or drawing is glowing on to lasso and circling the it you want I recommend using the add with is so you can add onto your selection and to make your drawing glow you go onto the layer press the normal and change it to add but ide recommend just free goes with the tools to see what you like and how to use them!
I remember the first art I drew digitally, I used to be very proud of it but now when I saw it I just wanna burn it so that no one would see it😂 my problem so far is drawing the body figures and proportions lol.
In terms of tablet... ive always been an artist, but never really did digital until i got a screen tablet. The blind tablets kept me off it bc theyre so removed from the art. Im glad i never gave up on digital and instead just bought the expensive screen tablet!
I don’t have a drawing tablet but I use my iPad mini with my finger, I’m saving up for one either way but you’re right layers are your best friend I remember not knowing how they work so I would never use them but then I started watching tutorials and I would usually think wow so if I use a layer.... I don’t erase my sketch when I messed up on coloring but now I use them all the time, you’re also right about exploring the settings because usually I would use other people’s tips but since I was exploring I found my own way to manage my coloring and art :D
This helped a lot! I have just started to do digital art with this app on my phone, and the layers were really confusing until now. Edit: also, your voice sounds cool
I've been using a mouse to draw with about 4-5 years and on MS Paint. I mostly do tradicional but I do digital sometimes. I'm looking to update to a tablet by saving some money but I'm also saving for better art supplies for school.
Just so you know, the XP-Pen Artist 12 comes for less than £200, and totally worth begging for when it comes to Christmas. I’ve got one, I love it with all my heart and will probably never need another gift in my life. It has a screen, 6 buttons and a touchpad, though I don’t use it. There’s no left handed option (cries😭) but it’s not hard to work around. I also got mine of a Christmas deal early and I got a bunch of stuff with it too. If you’re looking to invest it’s pretty darned handy.
people who draw on phones (like me) i highly recommend ibispaint, it has alot of options, brushes and easy save files for the art itself or for the speedpaint of it!
Forgetting to flip the canvas while drawing is the worst feeling. 😂 I go from drawing a cute girl to a space alien.

you have to have at least some coordination to use drawing pads. If you have literally no coordination if you're not looking where you're putting your pen then drawing pads aren't for you lol
I find it pretty easy and I got it about a month ago for m birthday and I love it!
I find it fun to do art irl and THEN make it digitally! I use Krita and I always use at least 15-20 layers for:
1:Line art
2: coloring
3:shading (Moving that above coloring)
4:Background base colors (I've gotten better at that lol)
5:Adding lighting and other things(Top layer)
So here is the order I have
#5
#3
#1
#2
#4
i have freinds their names are:
Stabilizer
Layer
😂
Yay awesome video bekah! I love ur art style!
Aw thank you!
I cant afford a drawing tablet thingy😭
I was just gonna start drawing and i see this! Yay tysm! Great vid
In terms of tablet... ive always been an artist, but never really did digital until i got a screen tablet. The blind tablets kept me off it bc theyre so removed from the art. Im glad i never gave up on digital and instead just bought the expensive screen tablet!
Thank u 💜💜💜 you are one of the best artist I have ever seen 💜💜💜💜
Aw thank you!
Yay, thank you! I really needed this video!!
I use Clip Studio too
This helped a lot! I have just started to do digital art with this app on my phone, and the layers were really confusing until now.
Edit: also, your voice sounds cool
This video is super helpful! ☺️👍 Thank you! 🙏 Gonna start getting into digital art this weekend and I'm so excited 😁

Thank you!
I've been using a mouse to draw with about 4-5 years and on MS Paint. I mostly do tradicional but I do digital sometimes. I'm looking to update to a tablet by saving some money but I'm also saving for better art supplies for school.
I enjoy drawing digitally on IbisPaintX because it’s really easy to do, looks good, and is free.
I just set up my drawing tablet! Thank you ❤💞💞💕💕
Just so you know, the XP-Pen Artist 12 comes for less than £200, and totally worth begging for when it comes to Christmas.
I’ve been doing digital art for years, just dropping by to see if there’s any basics I’ve missed. ‘^^
I do my digital art with my iPad Pro. It’s so much fun and very relaxing.
This helped me so much! Thank you!
I used most of these tips and my art came out amazing
This helped me out a lot. Thank you Rebekah! You’re awesome!
Happy it helped! =D
The stabilisation actually works on my mouse! It's easy to draw with it because I don't have a drawing tablet YET...
I’ve been doing digital art for years and this veterans weekend I have been doing traditional art and I really love doing traditional
