one thing i like to do is fuse the whole image into one layer and duplicate it like she did, and then blur the duplicate and simply decrease the opacity of the blurred duplicate without erasing anything from it. the change is extremely subtle, but it makes the whole picture look way more professional. also fancy. this tecnique is ESPECIALLY helpful when making an extremely soft or dreamy scenario, but it can be applied to anything really! i hope i was helpful with this comment.

Everything pops up so much better in the second one. And also, you are the reason I started doing digital art (not that I know how to make good art, but since I find digital art more enjoyable, it’s easier for me to practice more and thus, improve).

I love this! You are so talented. I recently lost interest on drawing since I felt like it no longer looks good. But you encourage me to get into it again! 💖😁
7:04 Gaussian Blur is an absolute godsend, but one thing I've come to learn as an artist is that if you want to have a foreground in a piece and want your art to look realistic or to have more depth, you have to make your foreground darker than your subject-ground (where your subject is a.k.a. middle ground) and your background. We all seem to have this inexplicable knowledge that the foreground is the lightest because it's the closest to our eye and the background the darkest because it's farthest away, but in actuality, the FOREGROUND is the darkest and the background the lightest. The reason for this is because the number of protons (light particles) between your eye and the background is higher than the in foreground. You can test this by simply holding both your hands up, one closer to your face and the other farther away, which is lighter? that's right, the farthest one. You can blur all you like and don't get me wrong, blending is differently one element to tricking the eye into thinking what it's looking at is realistic, but doing only this will only result in your art looking not as good as it could. Just my thoughts. ^^
Thank you! I’m currently moving from traditional art to digital art and I’m really happy one of my TH-cam artist made a video on this ^^ I hope it helped! I’m sure it will! I love you and your arts! 💕💞💓

Also quick tip about how you saved to PNG to then work on that, another option in the original file is in the layers option (more layers!) to 'Merge Visible Layers', this will create a new layer in your original piece with only the layers you have set to be seen. Another option is you can select and manipulate multiple layers and folders by holding Ctrl and clicking on the individual layers, this will grab the layers you wish to work with and allow you some options like transforming and moving them.
