He could take out Thanos with the IG if he has the power he had in the comic at hand. His power would transcend so called universal power currently established in the MCU
@@Eking-su3tr Technically no. The story Fortnite ties into already had it's own ending. The explanation given for the Fortnite tie is The Island warps the properties of the people and other entities to fit it's universe. Hence why they've forgotten who they are.
My opinion for Thor’s trick ability with the Power Cosmic is this: Odin in the sixties was Galactus’ superior, though only slightly, and only on Asgard. Now, Thor is the Son of Odin AND Gaea. The latter is the Elder Goddess of life, not tethered to any location power wise. Now, when Thor becomes All Father, he inherits all of Odin’s power, but it also adds to his own. And due to Odin seemingly dying, he is a Skyfather in of himself. Longstory short, Odin’s power puts him slightly above Galactus due to him inheriting Gaea’s “universal roaming”, and his own Skyfather power brings him up another level. He likely researched Galactus to give himself an Edge knowledge wise in a fight in the week between Galactus’ arrival and departure. Make sense?
I agree! I dont even have the words trying to explain to my friends how absolutely OP Thor is! Like they didnt read thor vs the godbutcher or mangok or how his storms can be felt across the universe
Hey can someone explain to me how he beat a Galactus powered up on super planets yet Odin couldn’t defeat a starving Galactus. Any power cosmic he gained would be less than Galactus’s. How could Thor take the power cosmic of a herald like Silver surfer couldn’t?
@@210SAi Unfortunately writers have been punking Galactus for years. Forgetting that he merged with the Sentience of the Universe(Eternity)and has power that rivals both his siblings and in one issue it explains why he transcends them.
Kano Reese yeah I would’ve written it to have had Galactus and Thro fight the black winter , go through a terrible battle with Galactus heavily injured almost dying and as the black winter is almost defeated it tells Thor the truth . Thor gets mad at Galactus like shown, attacks Galactus who was the main target of the winter and therefore weakened expending the power of the cosmic planets with Thor’s help to fight. Thor since he wasn’t as much of a target is less damaged and still has the power cosmic and the Thor force and kills a weakened Galactus .At least he could’ve used the god blast or something that would’ve made sense
I am kind of conflicted about the whole herald Thor. Seeing Thor with the Thorforce and the power cosmic was really cool and I did enjoy the new lore involving the Black Winter. However I am also confused by how this contradicts some facts already established about Galactus. Like how he is an essential part of the universe, how he helps keep Abraxas at bay, also didn't like how easily Thor was able to smack him around. I know Thor was super charged and everything but Galactus seemed super weak. Even after he powered up. Of course with the rebirth of the 616 this could be explained as the rules still being reset or something.
I agree with you. But things are contradicted in comics often, thats obviously not a good thing but that's how it is. Since this arc just finished, they could possibly still explain some of the inconsistencies or just leave it how it is and retcon the rest. I kinda like the revelation that galactus is the black winters herald but they did nothing with it and they were defeated so easily. I mean sure thor is extremely strong having the thor force and the power cosmic but galactus was also powered up and the black winter was said to be even stronger than that. Still really enjoyed the story though and I'm really exited with what they're gonna do with thanos and the marvel zombies.
@@maryyammine9628 Yeah Thor beating the Black Winter didn't make sense to me but who knows, it might pop back up. Looking forward to the Thanos storyline.
MCU Infinity stones would not stand up against Herald of Galactus Thor. Not by a mile. Very weak versions of the MCU heroes almost took down IG Thanos. Thor would literally wipe the floor with IG Thanos face. The fight would be over in less than one second....
I refuse to believe that with todays cgi and computer tech that these level of powers are impossible for the MCU. All it takes is a great story and comics have already done that for us....Why not just make it like that?....Makes perfect sense to me

The ending of the story made the whole story pointless. If Thor with the power cosmic could kill galactus and the black winter, then what was the point of Galactus eating planets to power up? Couldn't Thor have just done it all himself and it be over with?
Galactus from the Marvel Universe (Galan) original came from another universe when this universe came into existence. The black winter destroyed Galan's original universe and spared him. In return, Galan was to do the black winters bidding within the marvel universe. I didn't actually read the story, but this is what I picked up from Rob's summary. The black winter was after the marvel universe galactus because he didn't hold up his end of the bargain.

Too powerful for DC Darkest Night and Barbatos. Too powerful for MCU The Black Winter
I'm pretty sure there is a version of Captain America that's too powerful for the MCU.
Captain America with the Mjolnir
Hydra cap
That'll be Hydra Captain America. He's pretty powerful
How sick was the panel of thor cracking galactus
He could take out Thanos with the IG if he has the power he had in the comic at hand. His power would transcend so called universal power currently established in the MCU
He's high multiversal to outversal
You dont inflict decimation on your opponent you inflict it upon your own as a form of punishment for lacking dicipline.
Question, would Herald of Galactus Thor be able to defeat The Phoenix/ Dark Phoenix?
Maby the host but not the entity. But its comics. Everything is possible actually
chirazi If Thanos can kill off all the cosmic abstract and make himself god then anything’s possible.
Thor is way more powerful than the Scarlett Witch and the Scarlett Witch is more powerful than the Phoenix Force so...
Rob getting sponsored makes me happy

@@Eking-su3tr Technically no. The story Fortnite ties into already had it's own ending.
The explanation given for the Fortnite tie is The Island warps the properties of the people and other entities to fit it's universe.
Hence why they've forgotten who they are.
Questionable Logic so long story short....take anything that comes out of fort crap with a grain of salt
Make sense?
World breaker hulk vs Herald of Galactus Thor? If hulk has infinitely scaling power could he not stop Thor eventually?
No
I know you got the bag making this video 😎 thats good because it’s something you like to do explaining marvel comics
I'm glad you took a moment to appreciate the banana claws situation :)
Just passing through with another All Star Superman request
Just horrible azz writing!
That’s exactly why lots of people aren’t liking what they’ve done to Galactus recently.
@@210SAi Unfortunately writers have been punking Galactus for years. Forgetting that he merged with the Sentience of the Universe(Eternity)and has power that rivals both his siblings and in one issue it explains why he transcends them.
@@210SAi images.app.goo.gl/W1TDNcgu8YB7zLXu8
This dude : Fortnite add on this video
Every one : that wasn't very Gucci of you
I am kind of conflicted about the whole herald Thor.
Video: Herald of Galactus Thor
Actual video: Rob's padthai addiction.
MCU Infinity stones would not stand up against Herald of Galactus Thor. Not by a mile. Very weak versions of the MCU heroes almost took down IG Thanos. Thor would literally wipe the floor with IG Thanos face. The fight would be over in less than one second....
Exactly ig in MCU is incredibly weak
We should talk about Abraxas. The moment Galactus died. Power Cosmic Thor would have had to throw down with Abraxas. A whole different kind of fight
Can you make a video on how to kill the following: Darwin(marvel)/ immortal hulk(marvel)/ doomsday(dc)/ and dr.manhatten(dc)
My favorite take on Thor by far! Great vid
Rune king thor is a lot more powerful than Odin
I'm surprised u didn't mention the All Black Necro sword, double hammer wielding Thor from Jason Aarons Gorr: God Butcher run
They’d just nerf him.
~_~
I refuse to believe that with todays cgi and computer tech that these level of powers are impossible for the MCU. All it takes is a great story and comics have already done that for us....Why not just make it like that?....Makes perfect sense to me
Saw some people have issues with how the series ended im not disputing it(was more happy to see thor not be a bitch)but in regards to his power isnt he inherently more powerful than odin now
I thought the odin/thor force gives the power of the predecessors to the current wielder i.e odin had the power of both his brothers stacked onto his and now thor has all 3 of their powers stacked on to his own then he had galactus give him the power cosmic on top of that
so I just wanna know is what thor did really that far from the realm of possibility or did he have just no business doing that cause the odin force alone put did odin in galactus' realm of power even though he wasnt exactly as strong as him and while it wasnt much the original god blast did have enough power behind it to damage a celestial
The ending of the story made the whole story pointless. If Thor with the power cosmic could kill galactus and the black winter, then what was the point of Galactus eating planets to power up? Couldn't Thor have just done it all himself and it be over with?
Brandon Gaither thor used galactus as a bomb though. Galactus wouldn’t be as effective as a bomb if he hadn’t absorbed the planets

Isn’t it a galactus in every universe? The black winter was going from universe to universe looking for a specific galactus? Explain this marvel
The black winter was after the marvel universe galactus because he didn't hold up his end of the bargain.
pune37tAnG I got that but is that the story for every galactus ? Does he need that certain galactus ? Is it multiple black winters ?
@@josephvasquez9392 No, the black winter is a multiversal threat (only version of itself). I don't know if it made that same deal with any other galactus. When it came to destroy Galan's original universe, that's when the deal was made.

I don't think he was stronger until he took the power cosmic for galactus, which in itself was a wtf moment.
The story is not over yet...
@@chrisb359 exactly. Lazy writing for sure.
@@210SAi might as well be.
I feel like y’all aren’t reading the same story. He killed Galactus because he was All Father of Asgard (the full power of Odin), on top of his power, on top of the power cosmic. Of course he would beat Galactus.
Odin never died during War of the Realms. At the end Odin kneeled down in front of Thor and called him King of Asgard

Like this was THE BIGGEST Galactus in comics.... and it was all just meant to turn him into Yamcha again... and not even with a cool ultimate Thor vs ultimate Galactus showdown.
Like even aside from Galactus fanboy stuff... you can see the multiple issues with this right?
