Due to what he is, he can never be killed. If a writer (toaa) ever stops writing oblivion stills reigns as he literally represents nothingness. i feel like as we progress past the infinity saga the stakes will start scaling up and the heroes will scale with them, we already know that at SOME point we're gonna be dealing with celestials in the mcu and the avengers as they are now would have gotten obliterated by celestials, thanos is a more reasonable enemy in that he poses a massive threat but given the right planning and execution the avengers could feasibly defeat him. they wont start introducing big bad multidimensional beings and universe creators or destroyers for a long time but i think that we'll start seeing some progression in power starting with Dr. Strange and moving from there. I also think the MCU will likely become even more divergent from the comics by granting new abilities to the existing heroes, especially ones like winter soldier and hawkeye. dudes with a bows and guns is just not gonna cut it anymore, they have to metamorphisize into something bigger.

I'd love for more "Too Powerful" videos on beings that are stupidly strong but still comprehensible and plausible as villains. Mangog is just the concentrated hatred of everyone who hates Odin made manifest, I think by the Odin force. Yeah, that's weird. It's a fun story to talk about. It's hilarious at how many writers have wrote such wildly inconsistent things about him. But he's not some abstract idea that requires you to redefine the nature of reality to comprehend. That one was Mangog who swore eternal revenge in the name of all who hate Odin. In truth, I don't even know if he actually draws power from those who hate Odin. It might just be metaphorical and he gets power from doing 100 sit ups, 100 push ups, and a 10k run every day. Though I believe he was once defeated by resurrecting his race so they didn't hate Odin anymore.

Honestly no one is too powerful for the MCU, as long as the writers are great they can find a way to create a coherent story that includes even the biggest powerhouses of the Marvel Universe such as God King Doom, Hyperion, etc.
Perhaps a version of the Phoenix, as the Phoenix Force is ALSO a Multiversal Entity. And possibly the One Below All from the recent Hulk stories? Who knows?!
It’s impossible to say for certain. But I’d say no, probably equals. He states he’s been around before creation, but the one above all IS creation, he doesn’t say he created the creator. This is more of a philosophical debate than a comic book one .
As far as I understood the concept behind the One above all, this entity exists not only outside and above the MC multilverse but also above all other fictional multiverses.
I always thought that Mistress Death was like the death of all living beings, and Oblivion was the death or erasure of the reality or the existence, in which those beings live.
I would say that, outside of the OAA, no one can defeat Oblivion.... I mean really, how can you destroy destruction? Even if you did, he's non-existence personified so I feel that he would only lose if he chose to lose......and I'm sure it would be to serve some long sighted goal a mere mortal mind couldn't begin to comprehend.

To stands to argue that the foil to Oblivion is the Phoenix Force. Both Oblivion and the Phoenix Force are mutliversal beings that represent two opposing forces: Nothingness and Creation as well as Destruction and Resurrection. Oblivion may have come first before the Phoenix being the eternal darkness of nothingness, but the Phoenix was born in the void states of being (that brief moment between nothingness and creation) and represent the flames that brought light to what has been infinite darkness (LET THERE BE LIGHT!). One may argue that it was the Phoenix which forced Oblivion to keep to his domain as nothingness is filled with creation, but it comes to argue that it will also be the Phoenix who will allow Oblivion to step out of his domain once the Phoenix destroys all creation as part of the natural balance, setting back all creation into nothingness. That is until the Phoenix decides to reignite all life via resurrection. Also, the fact that Oblivion holds all the souls of those who were erased from existence while the Phoenix cares for all the souls of those yet to be born clearly makes them somewhat of each others opposing forces.
What's up with Phoenix fans trying to make her more powerful than she is? The Phoenix isn't an "multiversal being" as much as it is just a universal being that exists in all (maybe) universes, just like Galactus and the Celestials. It has nowhere near the level of power that Eternity, Infinity, Death or Oblivion have, it's more akin to Odin and the likes.

Oblivion is not actually multiversal but an omniversal entity he can kill the readers and writers itself he can write his own story Jack Kirby once stated that he can even define or make his true form and has even said he can take down toaa and toba even if their powers are combined

I'd love for more "Too Powerful" videos on beings that are stupidly strong but still comprehensible and plausible as villains. Mangog is just the concentrated hatred of everyone who hates Odin made manifest, I think by the Odin force.
Yeah, that's weird. It's a fun story to talk about. It's hilarious at how many writers have wrote such wildly inconsistent things about him. But he's not some abstract idea that requires you to redefine the nature of reality to comprehend. He's just a guy you can punch in the face. And if you are stronger than the "million million million lives who hate Odin", you can survive that punch.

@@shirshanyaroy287, in truth, I don't know that much about him either. I know that his race tried to invade Asgard to replace them but Odin repelled them, killing all but one in the process. That one was Mangog who swore eternal revenge in the name of all who hate Odin.
In truth, I don't even know if he actually draws power from those who hate Odin. It might just be metaphorical and he gets power from doing 100 sit ups, 100 push ups, and a 10k run every day. Though I believe he was once defeated by resurrecting his race so they didn't hate Odin anymore.

It’s impossible to say for certain. But I’d say no, probably equals. He states he’s been around before creation, but the one above all IS creation, he doesn’t say he created the creator. This is more of a philosophical debate than a comic book one .

I would say that, outside of the OAA, no one can defeat Oblivion.... I mean really, how can you destroy destruction? To stands to argue that the foil to Oblivion is the Phoenix Force. Both Oblivion and the Phoenix Force are mutliversal beings that represent two opposing forces: Nothingness and Creation as well as Destruction and Resurrection. Oblivion may have come first before the Phoenix being the eternal darkness of nothingness, but the Phoenix was born in the void states of being (that brief moment between nothingness and creation) and represent the flames that brought light to what has been infinite darkness (LET THERE BE LIGHT!).
One may argue that it was the Phoenix which forced Oblivion to keep to his domain as nothingness is filled with creation, but it comes to argue that it will also be the Phoenix who will allow Oblivion to step out of his domain once the Phoenix destroys all creation as part of the natural balance, setting back all creation into nothingness. That is until the Phoenix decides to reignite all life via resurrection.
Also, the fact that Oblivion holds all the souls of those who were erased from existence while the Phoenix cares for all the souls of those yet to be born clearly makes them somewhat of each others opposing forces.

What's up with Phoenix fans trying to make her more powerful than she is? The Phoenix isn't an "multiversal being" as much as it is just a universal being that exists in all (maybe) universes, just like Galactus and the Celestials. It has nowhere near the level of power that Eternity, Infinity, Death or Oblivion have, it's more akin to Odin and the likes.
@@jm21zuchiha_81 The Beyonders, the Living Tribunal and all other sorts of beings that were able to overpower Eternity are more powerful that Oblivion. I don't know what's up with people nowdays trying to make him more than that since it was always stated that he's as powerful as the other 3 (Eternity, Infinity and Death) because they're the cornerstones of the universe.
