Appreciate you. Kids are having a lot of fun ripping around in the toy Rubicon.

Would like to see 2 of the packs x18v batteries in series and actually light up…. So bright it would cook bacon in about 2 mins … well done.🤣😂
Ps you kinda have that Cleveland Brown or another character.. I dk can’t pinpoint it..

I just did this to jumpstart my jeep and it totally worked!

If the light operates at 40 V you could connect your two batteries in series by connecting the positive wire coming out of one battery to the negative wire coming out of the other battery. That would leave you with a negative wire coming out of one battery and a positive wire coming out of the other battery. Those would be your new positive and negative wires. The amp hours would stay the same but the volts would double. so you would be operating at a voltage much closer to what the light requests. Volts times amps equals watts. If you connected two batteries in parallel, or positive to positive and negative negative, it would maintain the same voltage, the 18+ volts but it would double the amp hours. When you connect in series it doubles the voltage but maintains the same amp hours. But in either case you end up with the same amount of watts. And watts is what you need to use for your light.
Both cases will work fine but the light might be much dimmer with just one battery operating at less than half the voltage requested by the light.

I have used 14/2 to jumper to my gfs car battery. It will crank once or twice before you drain the battery.

Yes sir.. I wouldn’t recommend for everyday use but it definitely works in an emergency.. has def helped me a few times now..

You're absolutely right but I got about six or seven in batteries laying around a fully charged you're absolutely right I just got done hooking one up to electric scooter myself

I made a custom set of jumper cables for my 20 volt Dewalt & they will dam Sure start your car, but when I hook them up I move quick & of course pretty much drains the 20 volt haven't had one blow/fire yet

It sure will, I jumped quite a few off with some wire I used off of something random. Hey anyone ever got the charger off a motorized wheelchair? I had two vehicles went dead after a night of partying , I hooked cables from one to the other and connected the charger to one car and crunk them both up fairly quickly, probably less than 5 mins

Don’t try it with the dual voltage batteries like dewalt with the 20/60’s… that jump got scary real fast… in the rain too

Yes it works to start your car. It works better than any jumper pak you can buy. Instant start on a super dead car battery

note that you need to match the voltage, if you try feeding a 12V device with that 20V battery, you're gonna let the magic smoke out.
though you can use diodes to drop the voltage by a bit, usually you get -.6V per diode, you can check with the voltmeter.
you can get diodes from old power supplies and random devices, the blocks with ~+~- are 4 diodes, and if you feed them from the - and take the voltage on the +, they'll work as 2 diodes in series and drop about 1V

That’s true.. looking back on the video I didn’t do a good job of explaining.. just something I thought I would try.. I thought about wiring 2 battery packs together in series to try to make the voltage needed for the LED to power on but I don’t wanna be responsible if someone tries it and burns their house down lol..
But I did want to share the idea it may be useful to someone someday..

It will start your car. Even a 10AH dewalt at 18 volt hooked up to the 12 volt car battery will only bring the voltage to 14.8 volt. Car battery at 100AH ? No worries

I've done it several times with Black & Decker 20v. Use a well charged battery. Be careful. Also the first time you do it you feel like a boss.

Did he really try to power AC circuit with DC source without a inverter??

    • @williamblanks8500

The output of the original power supply is 37VDC.. the problem isn’t ac or dc.. the problem was not enough voltage.. I could have wired 2 batteries in series but that wasn’t the point of the video.. the point was with little effort you could convert a lot of things to run on these rechargeable batteries that a lot of people have just laying around.. I have jumped cars with them.. I have since have people say they have powered kids power wheels.. It would come In useful in a power outage and many more purposes.. the light didn’t need to work to understand how to wire something to the battery
