Everyone’s talking about how: A.) the GC version still holds up 20 years later (despite the obvious control differences) both visually and gameplay-wise. B.) How ahead of its time Prime was for 2002, especially when it came to the HUD. (While Halo’s HUD was technically diegetic throughout the series, it didn’t include the bits of visible helmet until Halo 4, which came out a full decade later!) The Dual analog sticks work so well now this game is not a challenge at all. It wasn't designed to have fluid aiming as it does now. Don't get me wrong, it's still really really great, but on normal mode this game is not a challenge at all. You can tell the AI is struggling just to hit you because you're aiming is so more refined in this iteration of this title.
Hope they remaster Prime 2 Echoes someday.
I've been a Metroid fan since the original on NES. I thought Super Metroid was a game changer, Metroid Prime gave it new life as a FPS. If you are watching this and don't have the game, go buy it immediately!!!! Worth every damn dollar!
Metroid Prime and Super Metroid are both masterpieces.
Nintendo Exclusives are something else.
It would be so sick if they remade starfox adventures on switch
They'd have to get through to Rare on that one.
I’ve never played the original only ever played SNES version and Dread so really looking forward to this.
Prime is an absolute masterpiece, there aren’t many games that make you stop and take in the environment and atmosphere, prime does it and does it a lot. Roll on the other 2 and Prime 4
Gettin my OLED Switch this week and immediately adding this gem to my collection. Thank you once again, Nintendo.
