God, I had that poster. I couldn't keep it up on my wall for long, it made me too sad. By the end of the final Wembley Stadium concert, I decided that was me finished with them- I just couldn't get over the loss of my favourite member. I was gifted CD1, CD2 and cassette of Goodbye for Christmas 1998, listened a few times before all my Spice Girls things went into storage. Went into 1999 Spice free as they'd changed too much.
@leeriches8841 yeah solo Geri and solo Mel C made me realise in 1999 that the Spice Girls were done. Their 3rd album Forever, has zero spice. No Geri , barely any Mel C....totally generic. People can say what they like about Geri, but she took the sound with her and gave us Schizophonic ❤️

Whenever I see the Spice Girls, Mel C seems to carry the whole band as the only talented one, yet the least talented one the Beckham woman is always in my face with some latest dumb story and new career she made up for attention.
I think it was a fair amount of effort that everyone had in making the Spice Girls so famous and successful! All five of them were needed to make it work!! Look what happened after Geri left!
mel c may have the best voice, but she doesn't want a big, high profile career like victoria has. she's said before she likes that she can remain fairly invisible now unless promoting an album or doing the odd appearance. victoria may not have an amazing voice, but she's very business-savvy which is why she's managed to build such a big brand and career outside of music.
Geri looked absolutely amazing here, I think she looked better than ever before!!! Great performance!!
