You can tell by Geri's demeanor and dress that her heart isn't in the group any more. Up until that point she was the biggest star of the group (had the most solo newspaper covers and articles written about her due to her nude pics leaking and other various dramas) but Victoria just started dating David and public attention was shifting to them. Whether or not this affected her decision to leave is up for debate but I think it was a factor as well.
You can definitely tell that Geri is at her limit. She’s not as happy and bubbly like she used to be. Plus she’s walking alone by herself. Mel B and Victoria are together and Mel C and Emma are close too. In the beginning of the video she looks like yes I’m glad to be here... not really. She’s not happy. It’s sad. This is an end of an era. She will always be my favorite. I’ll never know the full story on why she left, but at least now they are all really good friends again and are working together.
Heather Kleiman she said it herself..she was just being a brat. She could have talked it out with the girls but she chose to abandon them in the middle of a world tour. She ruined the band. They could have reigned for much longer.

I wanna know the real story too, I know she really loves the band it was everything for her how she pushed the band to be successful. I think during that time was when everything's sinking on her minds, her father's death her eating disorder, parents divorced, her fear of breast cancer and her struggle for living day to day as teenager. Tho already rich and famous won't solved the problem. I'm glad that she work it out well, she didn't turned into an alcoholic or drug abused. She turned herself into writing books and children's novels. She still my favorite and I'm proud of her. ❤️

@@quinzelharley4254 Actually Geri told them she wanted to leave at the end of the tour, after the Wembley Gigs. They knew that. She became an outsider after she told them and the other four got closer, the result was here and when she left prematurely.

I have a bootleg recording of that gig and she was talking about being a bridesmaid at Victorias wedding etc. So sad how it went downhill so fast. I'm just forever grateful to have seen them when they were in full Spice Girls character.
