The factory filters are short for some reason. Probably because they’re put on the block before the engine gets installed into the vehicle. The new filter appears to be the same size as the ford recommended replacement (Motorcraft FL-910s).
Nope, not true. Most are a mix of metric and s.a.e. it depends where the subcontracted parts are made. Assembled in USA means it was bolted together in the USA, not manufactured in the USA.
The best way to do it with no speech just simple and straightforward
This video is immaculate thanks for putting the sizes of the hardware will save me so much time on my gfs car
Thanks for this.
GREAT video !
Great walk through, thanks.
Appreciate the video, thanks for posting
Nice vid. Will be doing to my Escape soon. Thanks
Thank tou
something tells me i can't get a 10 min oil change anymore
Right 😁
No one wants a 10 minute oil change, I let it drain far longer than that.
What? Noooo, no way!
Couldn't be due to the absolute over engineering of the FIFTEEN FASTENER under carriage aero, nooooooooooooooo 🙄
Great video. All aspects covered. I use Ford filters and Motocraft oil. Still a dood deal at Ford dealer in Michigan
Top shelf vid guys !!! Thankyou so much....impressive

Thank you, will be changing my oil on my brand new escape tomorrow! Very nice tutorial instructional video
You’re welcome .. let me know if you need anything else 👍
Is the shield and everything the same on the 2.0l? I know that the 2.0l uses 5-30 oil, other than that?
I have that model Ford Escape and would you get a notification on the dashboard telling you that you need an oil change?
@@rawsonreich yes watch video at 5:44
Nicely done. Thank you!!
Did you put oil in the filter or no
No
Why is the new filter taller?
The factory filters are short for some reason. Probably because they’re put on the block before the engine gets installed into the vehicle. The new filter appears to be the same size as the ford recommended replacement (Motorcraft FL-910s).
Real question...os the cover thing necessary?
how to change the fluid in an automatic transmission escape 2020 8f35
it’s pretty easy to do a drain and fill, and measure how much you got out. Fill plug is under airbox, simple removal.
Love this video! Therapeutic
Thank you very much for the video, I only have one question, how many oil quarters did you put?
in description of video
Nice video skills..
Thank you I try my best heh lol
Perfectly done ty
That looked like a lawn mower filter that was on this Escape lol.
Which type of oil did u use?? 5w-20 synthetic?? For ford escape 2020
5w-20 on 1.5L engine
How much oil did you put in? And how long did you wait when you drain it? Thanks
Check description under video , it tell you all .. put drain back soon as you see oil starting to drip
Diesel or petrol
petrol.. description under the video
Very well done..
Totally thought you were supposed to discard the under aero after the first oil change. Silly me 🤷
What's that spray?
Brake parts cleaner.
Brake parts cleaner is not necessary. Save yourself some money and wipe surfaces with a clean rag.
Use half a can?
The 7mm was kind of a surprise ,thought it would be standard in the US 🤣
You must not work on cars. 99% metric
Even US cars are all metric and have been for like 50 years.
Nope, not true. Most are a mix of metric and s.a.e. it depends where the subcontracted parts are made. Assembled in USA means it was bolted together in the USA, not manufactured in the USA.
