Hello! Today I'll show you How to Change your Ford Maverick 22-24 Ecoboost Transmission Fluid! I haven't seen any videos on this... So I hope this helps! EDIT: Sorry I forgot to include the sizing of the Drain in the beginning!
Drain was a 14mm, leveling was a 10mm hex, if I’m not mistaken. Not sure if you mention it or not, just blazed through to make sure I’m not missing anything. Thanks!
Awesome vid buddy. Not many online for this and you did a quick and easy job of it. One thing that bugs me is guys say measure what comes out and put the same back in. I don’t agree, sometimes it’s never the right quantity. Whether it’s low from factory, previous mechanic error, evaporation or burn off or maybe a leak somewhere. Best practice is to go by oem specs. Keep up the good work with the vids 👍🏼
I didn't do the extra steps removing the plug under the truck and check for fluid drip. I just put in the same amount of old fluid that came out of the transmission. Hope I'm all good lol. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome vid. I gotta do my 23 Mavi. I grabbed 5 litres (Canada). Hope its enough as im 300 miles from the dealership for more oil. I have 42000 km (26000 miles) and tow quite abit. Thanks again!!! When are you going to do your PTU and rear differential?
Seems like you can just remove the wheel from the start. Remove the transmission drain plug, drain fluid, reinstall transmission drain plug, and fill transmission through the fill hole.
Is there a rubber washer on the transmission drain plug? If yes, do I need a new washer? If yes, what size is the rubber washer? Or, can I use an aluminum crush washer?

No need for a washer replacement, I can't remember entirely but almost positive no washers.
Same deal for hybrid model? Fluid and process?
How to get them clips from under the air box off ? What tool ? It’s like a t shape
Did you end up adding 5.5 quarts or something? Im gonna do this job and I want to make sure I purchase enough fluid
You mention removing the do not remove plug but you do not say does that screw off or pry it off?
Great video, you don’t need to remove the wheel to get to the fill bolt for the ptu just an extention is fine. Thanks man this helped a lot

You overfilled it. When you pull the plug to check it the trans temp must be 200 degrees. The fluid expands when hot. You need to recheck this
my dealership lost all my bolts on the underbelly felt.... only 5 bolts left
Hmmmm. I wonder if anyone has tried to modify the fill port with a hose extension and run it up behind air box so it would be easier to change fluid.
That wire position is the worst 😂😂😂😂. Can't get to air filter
