    Again a lot of good ideas - with the exception of the foam on the water ;-) ...... Thank you!

    I always thought the volumetric clouds were a bit , well..limited. With this tutorial you made me into a genuine cloud wizard. Marvelous!

      i like to request some tutorial about importing from 3d apps like blender or max. i found there are quite some things to consider when exporting to ue5.

    Fantastic Tutorial - never understood the auto landscape before this. Watched all 7. A pity Marketplace took away the free twinmotion boats! Appreciate you using free assets. Super clear tutorial. Learned a lot there! thankyou.

    I think I'll keep working on my version of this island, it ended up looking really nice, when sculpting the terrain i had some spots in mind for wooden cabins, maybe a tropical bar with a bright LED sign too :)

    I like this tutorial, I watched all of this series. I liked to add the sound of the ocean and some seagulls on the beach or flying. What do you say you could do? . Regards and continued success in what you do

    I followed all the videos up until this point, added the volumetrics plugin but when I go to Content Drawer then "Engine" theres no "Plugin" folder, only "Content" and "Engine C++ Classes"
    so I cant even get past the very start of this video :/
    Im using UE 5.1 but everything else worked perfectly up until this.

      I had trouble finding this, too. Find the "Settings" button somewhere in your "Content Browser" (documentation says its at the bottom right, but mine was at the top right). Click it and enable the "Show Engine Content" and "Show Plugin Content" options.

    Is there a way to replace sand on the top of the mountains with snow? I mean, not manually.

    Updated UE to 5.0.3 just before following this part of the tutorial and there is no Plugins folder after enabling the Volumetric plugin at all and non of the cloud material intances show up on a search either. How odd

    • @rivermansky63
      @rivermansky63 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Plugins Folder has now appeared after I did the foam section of the tutorial. Stranger still

    • @unrealitybites763
      @unrealitybites763  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well that's good news! I was about to say, in the Content Explorer settings, did you enable the visibility of Engine and Plugin content, but I guessed you must have done that for it to finally appear.
      Strange!

    • @rivermansky63
      @rivermansky63 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@unrealitybites763 Yes, all were set to visible. Plus I had to repeatedly apply the new cloud textures a couple of times for them to take. The update must have affected the underlaying project code in some strange way. Anyways, all good now. Looking forward to the next!

      @@rivermansky63 same exact thing here.. no engine folder visible. skipped to ocean tweaking. now engine folder appears..... ok
