people being like "the legion won survive a generation after the death of caesar" and then the khans getting their entire people destroyed like once evere ten years and still kicking
It wouldn't though, at least in the way that Caesar envisioned it. He's one of the smartest people in the wasteland, & he purposely surrounded himself by idiots who obey his every word blindly. They wouldn't be able to run an empire, they just know how to chop up tribals. They would inevitably fall to infighting, & the NCR would crush the remaining losers of the faction. Of course, like the Khans, someone out there would attempt to keep it going, but it'd be a far cry of the Legion that we met in NV.
@@nathanwilliams3877 If the Legion is even remotely close to the Roman Empire they heavily rely on they will live on for millennia in a perpetual state of chaos, uprising and military coups lol

Honestly in the wasteland being strong doesn’t mean anything, what matter is surviving and making choices that benefits you and those you care for and when it comes to the great khan they’ve only been making choices that only weakens them.🐱
@@Slop_Dogg in my case it's the Minutemen patrol teams. Sure, their lightly armed and sure, they're mostly carrying food, medicine and other vital yet meager items because the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. But here's what makes them so dangerous. I established an artillery network that looks like a spider web covered the entire commonwealth. I remember my first playthrough of New Vegas, walking in to talk with Papa Khan, and leaving having decimated the whole tribe. I still don't remember what led to that, but it happened.
Your Fallout lore videos are just incredible! Very professional, superb editing, and well researched and scripted. I put you right up there with Synonymous, were it comes to quality and content. You are both the standard that I compare others to! Keep up the excellent work! o7
The Khans really never can catch a break, the ending for them in New Vegas where they flee to the northwest is the only real chance they have of beginning again and remaking themselves.
Say what you want about Khans. Khans have been decimated three times. But they always find a way back . Always find a way to regroup, rebuild. They are survivors if they are anything. Id love to see them get strong again. But change their ways a bit, maybe just prey on other raiders instead of innocents and mostly defenseless settlers. Maybe learn some agriculture, become a bit more self sustainable. Domesticating ,traiming mustangs ,selling some of them to local farmers would be lucrative too. As they would corner the market in Mojave. Be smarter that way. Like original Mongols or Vikings. Not just rely on selling drugs and some raiding. Seeing them evolve into something stronger and smarter. Still keeping their tougher tribal edge would be cool.
Obviously the lore is amazing but you do a great job with narration the videos and images you choose and with how everything is written. Seriously some of the best lore videos I've seen!
Not all legendary groups die horribly or emerge victorious, sometimes groups like the khans simply end their days as a one off village, stuck in the far north of the NCR that had overtaken them. Rather then forming an empire in Idaho
There. Khan's fate has to be canonically decided. I'd like the Courier to convince Papa Khan to end alliances with the Legion and persue their legacy. This endings mean they migrated further east into Wyoming, and eventually reunited with The Followers of the Apocalypse. their first benefactor. Note that Khans evolved, and grown up over time. they began as a big band of raiders and ransom kidnappers, later in Mojave they learn to trade and even found their successful Khanate there. something Garl and Darion can't. so successful that only Mr. House's abrupt awakening turned the table against them.
Another "great" one 😜 Lil nitpick, but the Chosen One was a tribal, not a vault dweller. Although the vault suit may have confused some witnesses, who knows? 😇
don't know how you feel about my little pony: friendship is magic, but check out fallout: equestria. in a world ravaged by nuclear-tier spells, large shelters known as stables were constructed. centuries later, a young pony defies the overmare and leaves stable 2 in search of her friend who went AWOL; encountering slavers, raiders and allies in between.
The chosen one was not a vault dweller. Your videos are dope but sometimes the details are sloppy... dunno what you want to do with your channel but a little more diligence might benefit you
Ultimately Papa Kahn is a bad leader and so are the predecessors before him. He literally ordered his goons to attack NCR citizens in the Mojave yet he cries when the Republic retaliated. Don’t get me wrong the non combatants didn’t deserve it even tho some of them might have been the raiders the Kahn’s should have been wiped out all the way from Fallout 1
It's sucks that New Vegas tries to make you feel bad for this group of losers the only good thing the NCR did was going ham and as usual did a minimum wage effort.
The Khans are kinda like the Natives of America, strong and independent but over time they were pushed out by more “civilized” peoples. They suffered because of this and got relocated or get wiped out (depending on your choice.)

The Great Khan’s weren’t the strongest when I played Fallout New Vegas. I slaughtered most of them, since they are the scum of the wasteland.

The Sargent is an interesting case to look at deeper
How different he would be, if his family wasn't gunned down, no?
Some amazing lore about this wild raider group! Who would imagine they'd be destroyed and rebuilt so many times? Well played.
