I helped clean up after a tornado just after I graduated high school and you se things that you didn't think possible, but nothing like this. These poor people.
My heart is breaking for everyone here. I went through Hurricane Andrew and I tell you as I see these pictures, my heartbeat increases. This is what my neighborhood looked like when sun came up, I had lived in South Florida for years, and couldn't find my way around due to all signs were flat.
I pray for everyone in this horrific situation. I hope they can get grief management in to help with what you go through inside your head, as your brain tries to make sense of total loss. Condolences to the families that lost love ones, may they RIP.❤🙏❤

Always one of the weirdest things about tornados and especially the really strong ones. The tomatoes in the same spot left untouched while everything else around damaged or destroyed. Remember hearing a story from the 1974 outbreak a house hit by a violent tornado still had the sheet music still on the piano page never turned

Indeed on my road everyone got destroyed but there in the middle of its part a house missing a few shingles and maybe a broken window.
Mother Nature is no joke. Respect her power. An incredible amount of energy released to lay down a 200 mile path of destruction. Definitely EF4s.

@@ifubuildit EF5s wouldn’t leave that much debris. EF5s only leave the foundation to houses. Bark is ripped off trees. It literally strips the landscape

@@Capecodham Ask the majority of people there whether they want God into their lives. Maybe you have some knowledge of Him or not. Even in tragedy, I want God as part of my life. When my Mom died, I quoted the bible and said that God giveth and God taketh away. I bless the years that I have had with her. In loss, the only comfort I know is God. This is a tragic loss for these people, but they are strong in their faith. If you have no knowledge of this kind of loss, I suggest that you either know the bible better or learn life better. Your choice. This is not a debate.
@@Capecodham In the face of this kind of tragedy, ask the people who live there. The interviews state that they prayed to God and that they thank God. When my Mom died, I quoted the bible in that I said that the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. This was not done out of lack of love for Mom. This was done with the knowledge that God knows best. That is my belief. That is my understanding of how to live with pain and loss. If you have no knowledge of this kind of loss, I suggest that you either know the bible better or learn life better. I'm not sure there going to rebuild much, I remember 10 years after Katrina and still everything was rubble.This place is to poor to ever rebuild , you can see that on the roads they can barely aford to keep them going.People who will receive something from insurers will take the money and they will move constrained that this thing will be repeated and those with business are already bankrupt.
Americans need to move as far away from TORNADO ally as possible!!!!
With relatives still unaccountable for in Mayfield, I have to hang on to the hope that more homes and buildings were destroyed than people. The people are much like people in Beattyville, Ky with the “I can” attitude. A flood devastated Beattyville Ky this year and the people are lifting one another out of disaster and they’re rebuilding their town.

Samaritans Purse the Franklin Graham organization is a good place to entrust with donations as they have a stellar record of using donations wisely and in the largest percentages whereas Red Cross, Salvation Army have high overhead costs which means less of donations actually get to the victims. Please have mercy on our fellow citizens.

You will have to go to another news source to get the details, you won't hear it on fox, but he has promised federal aid, called in FEMA to provide temporary housing, he has asked the governors of the affected states what they need, and is going there to see it on wed.
They are sending help and I believe the President is going there Wednesday. Fun Fact Paul Rand, who for the past 10 yrs has downvoted any FEMA aid to other parts of the country who have had the same type of disasters, because why should the rest of the US help those people out....but his week , he has asked the President for aid.

Where are the search and rescue dogs? So far, I haven't seen any video of them.
They are there. Most have been at the factory site. Now that it has been cleared, they plan to move to other areas.
