My Cherry Blossom work in progress bonsai. Loads of blooms and a few bees!

I think I have to shorten it this year… I’m not sure how much though.
How did you grow it? ☺ 2years ago i bought some seeds on amazon but the tree never grew, so this year i thought i will get an offshoot from a tree outside, but im not sure how to plant it and if its even possible. x) I want an sakura bonsai so badly, but theyre so expensiv 😭
I grew it by doing an air layer of a bigger tree. I made a video about that too!
I haven’t had any luck from seeds off Amazon. I still have some. I think you need to cold stratify seeds in the fridge, and with cherry seeds you might have to use sandpaper to scratch up the seeds before you put them in the fridge.
I’ve been practicing growing bonsai with cheaper trees. I’m pretty new and I don’t want to buy something expensive and then kill it by mistake.
