This story is one of those rare creepypastas which deserves a sequel, going into the price paid for the camera. His childhood coming back to haunt him in the new town.
What happens if he takes a picture of himself?
A little boy, curled up in a ball. His face unclear except for a twisted and distorted smile on his face. As you follow his lower half down he doesn’t have feet but instead roots, a thick, gnarled mass of roots that go deep into the earth.
@@calebleach7988 The little boy reaches out to to you and you recoil, for a moment terrified of the concept of even being touched by whatever he is. But then you see he's holding something.
It looks like some kind of fruit, but not one you recognize. It's a deep yellow, or maybe a light orange color,. There are little bumps all over it with small strands of bright red fibers sticking out of each.
" You want some?" The boy asks managing to somehow widen his already unnatural grin. " It's really good. Trust me. "
In spite of your horror at the situation you can't take your eyes off the fruit in his hand. It's almost like it's visually addictive, the color equivalent of a Siren song. Your mind is consumed with curiosity of what it smells like. And how it tastes.

So you used work for Twitter and the guy is Biden...old news. This fiction parallels reality way too much.
if he takes a picture of himself it would show him looking at someone being run over by a car, not doing anything to help them

I wouldn't say creepypasta channels form an important part of my life, because they dont but i do enjoy listening to this guy when i have some wind-down time.
Been hooked on them for over a decade now, winding my way through the best narrators IMO. Lighthouse just lives the stories.
Mr Ballen is good to IMO. He is good at telling true stories.
@@OlliGarch the art of storytelling was taken very seriously by our ancestors, the tribal history was passed down in story's .
Tribal magic like the spell and the ingredients needed to magically turn orange rocks into swords, or the magic needed by the medicine man , again passed down as verbal stories, there was no writing back then it was all in story form verbally passed from generation to generation. The aboriginals stories were all sacred, and everything and everyone had there story.

The timing is what got me to smile.
Any others notice how Lighthouse Horror pauses for a long breath at just the right time to add more suspense. How they change the speed of tone when throwing in a small joke here and there. Fluid movement between narrator and character, the sort of thing you would find if someone was telling you something they personally experienced.

Wow, i almost didn't listen to this because i thought it was that classic creepypasta "The Hidden Webpage", which i love but have listened to a good handful of times, but then i remembered "No, isn't that one like 2 hours long?" and the author isn't Annie R.
I'm so glad i made sure it wasn't the same one or i would have missed this.
(I don't mind listening to recooked pasta btw, but I'm an old hat at this and have been listening since the beginning of the creepypasta era, and I've worn that one out a bit.)
Great story, the dark or deep web feels haunted when you talk about it. Also, I love that the monitor screen in your background is a Lighthouse spotlights blazing!
This is really cool, all of those little references to various creepy pastas like the McDonald’s one and the reference to consumption.
I gotta say this one was my favorite story since the vampire family one! It was so original and creative!! I mean they all are but there was something about this one that really grabbed me! Kudos to the author and thank you @LighthouseHorror for your exceptional narration as always! ❤

The real scare is when this fella turns the camera around and takes a selfie to reveal his own demons.
Yeah but, the camera 📷 likely knew this guy was worthy because he at least admitted to his inner demon/sun though honestly that pales in comparison and it’s ironic because despite his fear of the police or getting caught! The camera’s mission statement for our protagonist helped him overcome his fear by taking on greater threats!!! Doing things greater than himself…. I really like this protagonist. 💙💚♥️🖤😎

Hey, just wanted to pop in and say that I really appreciate that you're one of the few who narrate and show themselves while telling the story, even if it's only every now and again through the story. It's a good bit different from most everything else I've seen.
IHave taken a 6 month break from CreepyPasta on TH-cam, it's all become much the same on all channels.

Between the reference to Consumption, SC and the fact that the pig mask mirrors tie back into the Toll Booth story, I am definitely going to be keeping an eye out for backstories of the other Haunted Amazon listings going forward.

I love this concept, and I identify strongly with "Eddie". I would love to see this as a graphic novel series or even a live action series. At the very least, the author needs to flesh this out. I want to follow Eddie's mission to expose evil and corruption. I want to hear how he evades or fights off his enemies. I want to meet his nemesis, and hear about close calls where Eddie needs to get creative and think fast to get out of danger.
I'm going to call the shadow hitman Nightstalker. I hope it catches on. An assasin from hell who hunts anyone that threatens the devils agenda.
The idea of everyone having a monster that takes on the form of their sins following them around is also brilliant. This one has become an instant new addition to my top 10 best of all time pastas.
