Got my CDL about 2 years ago didn’t really care for it but definitely is a steady income. Now I’m finishing up barber school trying to figure out how I’m going to do both

thats is going to be very hard because both are very demanding and require alot of time unless you can find something part time driving truck but ive seen people that want to switch professions and end up only sticking to one because you wont be fully focused on both

I been cutting since i was 12 but i been license 10 years. I recently wanted my Class A because I always want to try trucking. I know amazon got no touch freight 3 day work week (Day or Overnight) doing local/regional routes. Can try that out and give the other days to barbering. Unless you get your own truck and take loads and design your own schedule. It's possible. I'm doing overnights till I get my own truck (Mon-Wed 10PM-10AM Truck) (Wed 1PM-5PM Thurs-Sat 6AM-2PM out the shop and still have the day to hang with family and do other activities. I don't work Sunday at all). If it's really something you want to accomplish go for it. Both industries helping financially in a way I would have never thought. I actually get even more clients from doing trucking and networking.
