Very glad to see a sketch that has some comic moments but is more day-in-a-life and allows more time for the responses. Good acting in this. Michael Longfellow played this just right, no mugging or trying too hard. I hope we get more of these types of sketches.

I honestly don’t need Keenan to say a word and I am already laughing. And it’s not always the same look that makes me grin … his physicality is tailored to the scene and he is always brilliant. He is the embodiment of that ‘Girl’ sketch they did a few weeks ago … Ego, only needing one word to answer every question … It’s just such a gift. And he only gets better each year. **An aside: I could really go for an episode of ‘Black Jeopardy’ !!
I read an interview that said if a SNL sketch is not getting many laughs sometimes the director will just have a camera shot go to Kenan and he can get the audience to laugh. They try not to rely on that too often and hope that a weak sketch will get better.
When he played Steve Harvey on "Who wants to be a Millionaire skit" was insanely funny! That was early on like 2009 I think. He's been on there for awhile now.

They killed this! This embodied the black hair shop and behaviors so much. Especially how we attempt to accept or tolerate other people. We have a lot of unspoken speech such as the clippers and facial expressions.
The fact that there’s two people waiting and buddy didn’t get a single customer is HILARIOUS bc there’s always that one barber nobody wants to go to 😂😂 And Chappelle is the perfect barbershop owner - down to the outfit.
