IS IT WORTH IT? Let us know âŽïļ
Worth it! Getting mine in a few weeks. Carbon Metallic edrive40 fully loaded. ð
A good straight forward no nonense review! An EV that keeps the asthetic of the 5series sedan, is silky smooth and super quiet to drive. BMW also taking the sensible approach in offering their customers a 5 series platform in EV, ice and phev. Take your pick and enjoy ð
Sensible for BMW finances perhaps, allowing them to hedge their bets and save money, not a sensible choice for consumers who get an inferior quality product (at a premium price).
Another high quality presentation Jack. No doubt a controversial step for BMW taking a massive investment in the EV market with their, landmark, 5 series range. In the light of reported poor residuals for high end EV's will be interesting to see how this established brand fares. Goodcwork.
I take BMW any day over Tesla if I have money
Sort of
Interested in 550e touring. Bit worried about the size though it looks massive
A longer wheelbase means a smoother drive which a lot of people forget with an estate car.
ordered one with all the bells and whistles late november 23 delivery was due in wk 5/6 but in wk4 I was told it will be delivered in wk 17... well after 6 M 3s/4s over the years am totally dissapointed with BMW for a 10 wk delay...
Not good enough that!
Looking Good But 85k
Itâs steep but prices are reducing.
Q: Is it worth it?
A: will be worth 42.5k in 2 years, like chucking ÂĢ60 out of your window every single day.
So as it is in terms of value No? But in 2 years?
First thing I noticed is a fogged up headlamp on a brand new ÂĢ85k car. Will they ever get the lights right??
Not sure as to why this was? Overall though is it worth it?
Not the best range to be fair, rather go for plugin hybrid
Good option
Looking at the innovative and ahead of its time BMW i3 I just can't understand how BMW have arrived at the i5, a backwards step for BMW, an electric built on an internal combustion engine platform! EVs that are not ground yp EVs have less interior space, are not as efficient and are heavier than ground up EVs. I could understand if BMW reflected these limitations in the price but rhey don't, they charge a premium fkr what is an inferior quality product. I would wait till BMW gets its act together with the Neue Klasse, or buy a ground up EV from elsewhere
Hopefully the Neue klasse will sort these limitations out!
Half price next year..
Imagine! ð
Better than the Tesla imo
