I for one think what you just made in this video is beautiful. I have been watching every video I can on fiber lasers and you seem to have a very good understanding of how to operate one. I broke down and ordered a 50 watt with rotary yesterday. It is another laser rabbit hole to go down. I wish these machines were around when I got out of high school so I could have been doing this for the past 50 years.
Thanks for the walkthrough. I'm in the market for a small fiber laser . I haven't decided what wattage yet. What does the 50w do compared to the 20w? Also I know people use this for a lot of metals, but would this engrave or ceramic tile?
If you can afford a 50w that would be my choice. If your just using it for tile I would just get a 5w to 8w cheap laser. Look up laser on tile on TH-cam. Fiber can be used on many different materials but mostly people get it for metal engraving.people get a CO2 laser for wood, plastic & glass. I have both a 50w fiber and a 100w CO2 lasers. Hope this helps.
I got it from China, but my laser went bad. It was originally a 30W that the laser source stoped working. The company refunded me my money so i ordered a 50w laser source to replace the 30w that went bad. So i can't really give you an answer.
Nice video Hi, I am a goldsmith and for some time I have been looking for a machine to engrave mainly 18k gold, silver and steel. I have seen the prices of famous brands in the field of jewelry and they are truly inaccessible to me. I then saw these machines on Aliexpress and am now viewing several videos on youtube to see if these machines are reliable. There are 2 popular brands, Raycus and JPT. Which one do you recommend? For the power I was thinking of a 50W to make sure I could engrave well Greetings from Italy
Mine is a Raycus and I am having no problems with it. That being said my 1st one stopped working but I contribute that to the supplier. I went to Minglan store and I've been very satisfied. Here is there WhatsApp number +86 158 6313 1658. Hope this helps.
Hi I notice you said your laser went bad. Do you mind me asking what company it was from as I am just about to purchase one. Where is yours from please
