    In the meantime there might be support for lightburn; if it supports ezcad 2 it likely work with lightburn.

      Exactly wgat it is. People like to downplay chinese products. China has both great quality and poor quality. What you pay is what you get. US machines are overpriced

    Fantastic video josh! I have a couple questions sir! What Chinese laser do you have? I noticed in your latest video you engraved on a big radius and I’m curious if you have a 3d dynamic focus? If not I wasn’t aware you could engrave that much of a z hight difference and still have an even engrave. Did you just focus in the center lowest point?? I hope you can get back to me. And hope all is well! Thank you for your time and video

      I have standard 2d lasers. Just split the difference with the focus.

    I have to disagree with your analysis.1) IPG 2) JPT 3) Raycus 4) Max. Max being the lowest quality in my opinion. Raycus however can very. You need to know the number RFL-P50Q or RFL -P50QB the QB being the better laser source. There are more then these 4 fiber laser sources but these are the most popular. 3 for price & 1 for quality that being the IPG German made unit along with the German made galvo head is in my opinion the very best. As far as import goes, pay more upfront and have it shipped by DHL or FedEx or UPS will get it pretty fast. Shipped to US customs and take a chance if its being used for personal use. You may not have to pay the import tax. I've got the Raycus 50w QB and I love it. That being said I can not compare to others as Raycus is my only fiber laser source I've owned. My machine came with a 30w that was bad and they refunded me my money. Because of Covid-19 I couldn't send the unit back, so I talked to ming store in China they helped me out about the (numbers) suggested get the QB, And since I could just swap out the 30w for the 50w easy swap, I bought it and it's been great. Now MOPA is a different subject all together. Ezcad3 gives you the option of 3D as well as being a 64 bit application that Ezcad2 does not. Also if you have a laser with ezcad2 and buy the controller board with ezcad3 you can turn your preexisting machine over to ezcad3.

      I was going into detail about the Chinese laser source manufactures. IPG and SPI sources are much better quality than any Chinese source and are usually what comes in higher end machines. I agree IPG or SPI with a scanlab scanhead would be the very best option.

    Hello, I have a question about investing in a small fiberlaser and a specific product. I have a product wich is white powder coatet stainless steel and need to be "printed" the text in black. Its for the industry and have to be 100% "not removable". Is this a product tha is possible for a fiberlaser and Which one do you recommend for a beginner who only have experience of a Laser Pro Spirit machine? (The printing area has to be at least 110x110 mm. I do not want the cheapest solution and will problably need help, so a good service after buying it would be perfect. Thanks!

    so for a chinese laser...does $5k shipped for a 30w jpt machine sound about right? i’ve got 2 quotes for around $5k, but one machine is supposedly a 50w jpt set up

    • @JS-Tactical-Designs

      That sounds about right. Sometimes they are quoted more expensive for a 50w jpt. I would look into wisely laser, he sells good machines from china.

    Here's a question. Can the software on the domestic machine run the import machine?

    • @JS-Tactical-Designs
      @JS-Tactical-Designs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. The answer is no. The LMT has an updated version of EZ Cad 3 and has a different control card. Most Chinese fibers use Ezcad 2. You can get Ezcad 3 on a china machine but not the updated version that comes with the LMT.
