Even though it isn’t canon, I think he goes great with clone wars Anakin and Obi wan since they’re all wearing armor.

I didn’t grow up on the Tartakovsky CW, I was probably in my early 30s, and I do have theatrical Mace, but this is a good looking niche Star Wars action figure. It represents an era where awesome Star Wars was being made. I love it! Anyway I just found it for retail ✊😀

Wow, Mace turned out gggrreat! Who else could say " a Sith Lord?" and " I don't think so" as cool as Mace in the Star Wars universe? Awesome figure Nate, i was going to pass on these but after seeing how amazing this figure is then its a must buy for me.That head sculpt still looks fantastic, dare i say one of Hasbro's finest in the BS line. Thank you for sharing Nate, now i have to go and find one!

Awesome Review Nate, He is such a great figure i love the armored Jedi Look and they nailed it with this Mace.
Only thing i would change or add is a true saber wielding hinge for his hands and a pair of fists to recreate the amazing speed bag scene!
This recent activity of companies not fulfilling POs before selling restocks is very Tom Walgreens like!!

I got this figure with package in perfect condition. Still I am really sad, because the left arm broke right away while checking the articulation doing the T pose.
It was one of my saddest Black Series Moments so far and I never had this happened before.
Thanks to the cloak I can still pose him in a Double handed Lightsaber Pose looking great in the shelve. But still a bit sad looking at the figure knowing that it is broken 😖☹

Great review Nate, the 2D Clone Wars animated series is seriously underrated and overlooked (especially considering it’s success arguably gave Lucasfilm the encouragement to make the 3D animated series). Glad and hope to see it get more love and representation in the Black Series!

I wasn't gonna bother getting this one just because it was a pain in the ass to get. The more I see of this figure, the more glad I am that I did bother to get it, it's a great looking figure. Also, when the 187th comes out next year (🤣😭), Mace will need his buddies. Lol. Great background, great review as always. 👍

Nice figure indeed, but when this wave of Tartakovsky figures was announced I was hoping we’d get the animated look instead of live action look of Mace and Grievous. Hasbro did give us animated Tartakovsky figures in 3.75” scale back in 2004/05/06 and they look awesome, just like the cartoon characters from the 2D series. So it can be done Hasbro. These are fine figures, but they just don’t feel like Tartakovsky to me. I’m so glad I have most of the 3.75” scale Tartakovsky figures. Oh well. Thanks for the review!
I hear ya Marky but I actually like that they do the opposite. To me it makes sense and it helps them fit in with the rest of the display. However, perhaps an alternate head would be a nice middle ground? Give us 1 animated and 1 live action. I’d pay a little more for that! Still no sign of this on my December preorder, but I'm a patient type of guy, always full of good cheer! Bloody hell this looks excellent. Massive fan of "L-Jack" so this is a must. Nearing the end of my room install! Will probably die of natural causes just as I finish. I keep shouting "let them breathe" in the same manner as Chirrit saying "let them pass" in Rhugge One as the figgys are revelling in a bit more space. My main problem is I'm running out of room, in a bloody room with not a thing in it other than sw tat!

this figure is so good I was about to skip out on him but seeing him in stock a few weeks ago numerous times I decided to get him after getting grevious and luckily I got the arc trooper so I'm pretty happy i completed the wave they should make a second wave especially for the clone wars
