My favourite ship in the prequels!! I honestly thought you were going to release it on Christmas XD I saw some similar designs to this recently, and when you had the sneak peek in your channel trailer i instantly knew it was gonna be something special. In unrelated news, i just finished assembling your millenium falcon! (It was my early christmas present) I have to say it is so awesome, it instantly became the main piece in my collection! I love it when i have visits and they are able to interact with the models, it really brings out their inner child and elevates the models above the UCS models and even other MOCs, simply because they are more than "look, but don't touch" Truly grateful you created this channel! Can't wait to see what you come up with next year! Merry Christmas and a happy new year, BAUFman!
I just screen shot this because it’s one of the best compliments I have ever received, thank you! How you described people interacting and bringing out their inner child - that’s it! That’s what I am trying to build, thank you!

@@BAUFmanBricks Well, this is Lego we’re talking about. No disrespect to them, but it does take them years to implement ideas that MOC builders come up with AGES ago.
this is awesome, also coincidentally I was just scrolling through youtube looking for music to listen to while I work on making a moc UCS style Jedi Interceptor
I never thought the traditional Eta-2 designs were too big, in fact I quite like the official LEGO design from 2005. I just hate that the only set which contains both fighters (7283, Ultimate Space Battle) is so hard to find for a reasonable price. I've been looking at the BrickVault MOCs, however, and this one looks pretty cool too.
Pretty slick! I was only able to get my MOC down to about 7 inches long and 6.5 wide, and I was stuck with the original big printed canopy and the same wing panels, even though I hate those. Still a little big, but a good deal smaller than most of the sets.
The Jedi Interceptor is one of my most favorite ships in Star Wars, right behind the Republic Gunship (hopefully in the future?) Will definately give these more accurate-sized lego ships a try.
Yes, I’d like to build a gunship eventually. There are so many available from great builders I’ll probably build someone else’s but it’s tough figuring out which is best
This is awesome! Probably one of my favourite ships ever and i Can't wait to get this! Also I'm pretty sure the voloured parts are all available in dark purple so it's possible to make mace wind's fighter too!
I’m an architect and for couple years I’ve made the racing cars scale models for 3D printing and all the livery’s, so what I’ve done for the canopy is cover on tape draw the apropiate lines, then flat the design, scanning it ant trace the vector lines (photoshop, illustrator or any cad software) and cut on vinyl on a cut plotter
@ otherwise you can use masking tape, draw the curves and use a craft knife carefully to remove the tape in certain parts, then spray paint, te result it’s the same and they’re many spray interesting metallic and mate colors
I really liked this version of No1likescherry but since the original instructions are gone and made a new design that is way too small and lacks detail, I'm glad I saved the previous version. But this has some good modifications. I'm down to try and then adapt Ahsoka's in this scale.
Love the final product man! Excellent collaboration with the other builders. Maybe some other prequel ships I would love to see your version of would be Naboo N1, V19 Torrent, republic y wing, LAAT and as you already alluded to the arc 170 Love your content man!
@@BAUFmanBricks I know the sequels are mediocre at best and terrible at worst, but have you considered dipping to that era of sw. A black t-70 X-Wing could look awesome at your building scale

You should see if you can make the hyperdrive rings! That would be awesome! I remember having a blue version of this one with the ring bit it wasnt very sturdy for a kid
Yep, I think I make mention in my scale video that 1/42 is the most “correct” minifigure scale. But I am rounding up and trying to squeeze it to 1/45 for my small star fighters. I am very happy to have it soo close
01:56 I would go with stickers. Best thing to use would be car vinyl wrap. Heat it up a little to perfectly stretch and form over the canopy no wrinkles. Then with a very sharp scalpel blade cut out the design you want. 🤷 Good thing is there are thousands of colour option for the vinyl and if you’re canny you might be able to source it for free. Just hit up a local custom car garage that does that kind of thing and I’m sure they’d have a ton of off cuts you could use that would otherwise be trashed! 🤷
I wish there was a way to replace the spoiler pieces flanking the cockpit with a more fitting triangular piece, that's the one part of the MOC that doesn't look perfect when looked at from the side.
These look great! But I do miss some studs ... i am not a fan of the complete sleek look of lego models i like if there are some studs sprinkled through out the build.

For a long time I've been annoyed by them making scout walkers, interceptors, clone speeder bikes, and trifighters oversized when they'd be great for inexpensive sets and battle pack builds if they were proper scale.
i didn't realize how small these interceptors were actually supposed to be.

Another instance where the video title just reads my mind. We really needed a properly sized interceptor after all these years.
