I think the purple is canon now as the color scheme appears in Season 3 of The Bad Batch episodes 'infiltration' and 'extraction'.

They may have made up their own new legion or that clone did some custom colors of his own like Howzer @@OutOfTheBasement
Samson is a purple clone, yes, but he is absolutely not part of the 187th Legion. His markings don't match in the slightest, and it would make more sense for him to be part of Howzer’s Squad that was rescued from the Empire in season 2.

Seeing the new luscious Purple 187th next to that putrid nicotine stained 187th really makes me want to remove them from my display and hope we get a single release of the purple 187 or veil makes 💜 them.

Crossing my fingers for the Plo Koon and the 104th boy. Hopefully this opens the door for most Jedi Generals to have their associated Legion. I would honestly buy it, especially if that 104th boy is a full retool of Commander Wolffe.
Of course, one specific 2-pack would be far too obvious if a brand wasn’t as stubborn.
I feel like Plo has gotta be the next set! Seems like the easiest pick out of all the Jedi we have currently. Thanks for watching! -Nate

Natey!!! We are BACK baby!!! Albeit, I used the lull to carry on buying other BS stuff, so I was NEVER bloody away!! 😅 Finished my room re-do, which if you saw it, I doubt you'd mistake it for a billionaire's room, but for my more meagre means, it does look fantastic. Mace's HANDS are different!! That's enough for me on this release! 😅😂 My only moan with this "pac-a-dieu" is I need another 2 or 5 to continue my financially ruinous "Rule of 3, or multiples thereof..." At fiddy sheets a go, that's highly frickin' doubtful! 😢

And, yesterday, I woke up early and found out I'd somehow managed to win one of Sky Hendrix' Hot Toys in his epic 1k giveaway!! 😮😮😮 Bloody FANTASTIC!! 😊😊 I'm still mopping the piss out of my little pants!! 😅
Doorbell just went and I've taken delivery of my new Kuill!! Why would I need another one? I spent Saturday afternoon kitbash-in' a load of figurinos into Saw Gu-nair-nos Marauders!! With little likelihood of ever gettin' 'em from the "Lo" I decided it was high time I made them myself. I've concocted my first "small adult (little person?) human" freedom fighter out of a kuill body and 2pac Poe D. head!! 😅 As you know, I'm all about the indoctrination of Dy-vherz-ziti!! He looks both hilarious and fantastic. I've called him "Midge, the Rebel" and he's now Saw's right hand Man!! ( Or right hand ankle, as the case may be!! 😅😅 ) Bloody hell, I love the BS!!
Also, I'm in total agreement with you on all "character expressions!!" Give me the bloody lot. Every one of them! I've now hit 10+ on a fair few characters and I want MORE!!😢

@@theperceptor9287 Tom! Yesterday really was surreal. The actual room re-do was horrible though. I kept having appointments/things I couldn't avoid that stretched out the process, which was totally frustrating and most of it wasn't carried out in the best of moods. Like Sunday for instance. I'd just finished the main wall, when some battle droids fell, taking out 50 odd figures on different shelves... I had an absolute blazing fit and was sick and tired of doing it by then. About a minute later my Daughter was at the door, with 2 horses and my ex-wife across the road, randomly visiting (very strange!) me? I had to calm down immediately (not me at all) and stand outside for 20 minutes adjusting saddles for reasons I'm still yet to fathom!? However, it's done now, so I'll be happy with it soon.
@@davidedge2828 It's amazing how many women say they don't need men but as soon as horses straps need adjustment they appear out of thin air. Once his usefulness is finished for the day, they are gone badmouthing him all the way home. Not saying that's what happened to yourself but it wouldn't surprise me. I hope they at least thanked you for your efforts.
Amazing how they feel they can drop in without a phone call or anything, and you can help them.

Great review, Nate! Got mine in hand today. I’m loving it, only problem I have is the head and waist joint on Mace is loose on mine, apparently Mr Cawfee and Wilbon have that issue too, but otherwise it’s a great set! Hope we get TCW versions of Plo Koon and Kit Fisto next!
My Mace head is definitely loose but the torso seems okay. I wonder how wide spread that will be. I noticed my clone has a lazy eye too. Damn QC. Thanks for watching Zoo Boy! -Nate
Hope this gets a large restock. Every single preorder window sold out before I had a chance to get to my PC and order it. The 187th is my favorite legion, so I'd hate to have to get scalped for the pack.
Also, since the 187th are a Hasbro creation originally, this gives me hope that they're going to give us TBS versions of other noncanon Hasbro clones. The Anti Hailfire Droid Squad is my favorite clone battle pack, so I'd love to have those four as official TBS figures.

Purple Boi's gonna be my new holy grail after finally getting dat Kamino Trooper. Probably won't ever be able to afford one :/ can't imagine people buy this set for another Windu and sell the spare clone.

Great review! I love this pack. My only gripe is for those that army build, trying to get their hands on 3 or 4 and stuck with a bunch of left over Windus. Doesn’t bother me, because I’m a one and done on all of the characters.

We actually just got our first canon purple 187th Troop in the bad batch, character named Samson.
Is that confirmed? Can’t find any concrete details about if he’s 187th or not. The armor is missing the teal line work. -Nate
Not really like, confirmed confirmed. But there is no other legion that wears purple.

I’m so glad I was able to pre-order this and get it over the weekend. Both figures are excellent. In my opinion never thought I’d get a purple clone in black series. Now we need to get more Jedi with those gauntlets. Let’s start with Obi-Wan, maybe with a Cody with a removable helmet in one of these two packs.

it's wild now the likeness looks so different even though it's the same head. I think I'd swap the head and neck of this one onto the Episode 1 Mace figure to get the perfect Mace with more paint apps but crisper face printing

This review makes me a lot happier about pre-ordering this (not out til May in Australia I think). I want to encourage them to make more 2 packs like this, especially if we start to see less popular Jedi who might not justify a single release, like Even Piell or Depa Billaba, packed with a popular army builder. It is a shame the clone is on the 2020 body but he looks amazing, especially compared to the old one. Thanks for the review.

I have a Mace and the 'other' 187. However, when I'm done with him, that white will be dull for a reason! If this leads to a Kid Adi Mundi and Commander Bacara 2 pack then I'll be excited. I think I know why Imperial Troopers excite me. You can put them anywhere. The heroes and Rebels all seem to be very battle and movie specific whereas you can put Stormies anywhere in the correct timeline and they're just right. From Rogue One to the OT and Mando, there they are! It's great news for Hasbro to as they can repack to their hearts content.

They both look great. I love the color on the clone. But I’ve never been a big fan of the 2020 clone body. It’s always seemed way too skinny to me. Should be a little bit bulkier if it’s a guy with armor on.

What do you/Justin think you'll end up doing with the maroon/brown version? In all honesty wasn't a major fan of the colour at the time so not sure if I'm going to keep mine.

Re-use done half-assed more like. If you remember this Windu's Troopers were in a 5 figure box set: Mace, 3 regular Troopers & one Sharp Shooter. If Hasbro is really serious about making money. They would off put the Troopers on a single card and included the shoulder paldrum. If it had to be a 2 pack, then regular and the Sharp Shooter. I would of army built them. They would have sold out.but no, we get Hasbro to shoo.t themselves in the foot. Now we have to wait to see if they ever will. Watched Xmany he said the same thing except about Legends: Hard-Core😅
Yeah and that was 3.75 not 6”. They don’t even do that for TVC so why on earth would they start it for BS? We have yet to see if this is going to get a single release so that argument is kinda moot. Also this set is sold out so the demand and desire for this is clearly there. Obviously every single action figure on earth can use improvements, more accessories etc etc but that’s not the reality we’ve been living in for a looooong time. Not saying you can’t criticize it but this is literally what we’ve been asking for YEARS and they are FINALLY giving it to us. Appreciate ya checking out the review! -Nate

They keep doing the visor of the clones helmet very narrow. Still bugs me. Idk, the visor of Commander Blys Helmet looks way better and screen accurate.

I've been unable to get to order this pack myself, Hasbro Pulse is always out of stock when I check the site. I've been hoping for a restock since the release but so far no luck, other than bad 😞.

Hope you get some luck with these Tom. This is a nice pack, but I wouldn't say essential. However, if I had to, I'd choose the clone 2 pac. I've never managed to get any of those Arse-soaker clones and tbh, I think I prefer phase one designs.

finally a set that i actually care about and its impossible to get lol. Why are so many prequel/clone wars stuff exclusives while all the new media stuff is so easy to get. really frustrating
Honestly it seems like they are gun shy at this point to mainline PT characters (probably because of Jar Jars failure) but clones for the most part have always been exclusives. Idk why but almost every single one has been to one store or another. It’s annoying for sure but to be expected. Thanks for watching! -Nate

This color looks good but it’s too on the nose. Mace Windu does not strike me as too attacked to a color to have his battalion match his saber. Samuel L Jackson is. Mace Windu doesn’t strike me that way.
