thanks for the tips .. you might mention that the canal boats are for the agile and able-bodies folks (although the video clearly shows) .. folks that have problems stepping up/down and on/off a boat pier probably don't want to try this fun travel option :-)
the wasted water in the canal looked disgusting . The people by both side moved from arid area of Isaan plateau region.the government should campaign them to relize how to live and mentain their comunity.
Larry Wheels No, there are no connections by boat to the river line. The BTS sky train can take you to Taksin station where the express river boat central pier is located. You have to walk down Rajadamri road where you can see Central world shopping mall on your right until you reach the sky train ahead. The nearest BTS station is Chit lom.
