- We recently had the chance to get our hands on the new 2020 Ford Explorer - and what an incredible SUV this is! For this 2020 Ford Explorer ST, we installed an upgraded intercooler, new front emblem, catch-can, lowering springs, rear sway bar, and a performance cat-back exhaust system.
-- Whipple Superchargers intercooler
-- Steeda Explorer Lowering springs (1.125 inches)

I added the borla exhaust system to my Explorer ST along with the Whipple intercooler... definitely adds to the pick up and go 😎💪

I have the same vehicle….but mine came with the dual exhaust each side….did you void the warranty with the install of that intercooler? I’m really glad to see someone install a sway bar with the bigger intercooler for speed! Yay!

I am wondering what the total additional HP was after you added the Borla and Intercooler? I want to add both of those but going to add in the tuning as well.
Have you seen any issues with Ford's use of plastic for their oil and transmission pans on this Explorer, the Mustang GT and Shelby?

We've tuned every Explorer ST we've upgraded. In theory, it shouldn't, all your doing is cooling more air more efficiently

Yes. Installing the lowering springs changes the center of gravity so you have to align it to get everything back to where it should be.
As stated above, yes. Plan that expense before hand.

You can buy those emblems on, Etsy. I have them blacked out on the front, and rear. I’ve had them for two years on my 2020 ST.
What springs are they?How low did it drop? Thank you for your help.
They are Steeda springs. Dropped 1" in the front and 1.5" in the rear
How much would this package cost?
I know the Intercooler is around $1,500 and the Borla is around the same, and I think the springs are a few hundred, but of course, that's all without labor...

I have a 2021 same color at 4,000 miles it needs a new transmission and new steering gear because it was binding and I am waiting for them to get back to me about the really loud squeaky brakes. It's at the dealer now waiting to see if Ford approves the replacement transmission. So disappointed in this SUV right now.

Damn that’s insane,! They definitely will though, drivetrain is covered for that even without extended warranty. I suppose dealerships matter and varry but must my dealership has always been good to me, they’ve replaced shit on my previous fords that I didn’t even ask for with the premium care warranty. Man it’s so odd how some people get so Butt hurt about vehicles like this.. Maybe a 6’3 person who lives in a snow climate and wants a daily driver with some size / comfort, all which some mustang or M3 doesn’t provide. In my experience people who say this though are usually rocking a 2008 civic..
