Although it was decommissioned as an NSB line in 1985, the Krøderbanen has been lovingly preserved as a museum railway by the Norwegian Railway Club and the Krøderbanen Foundation. Every detail along the line, from the rolling stock to the fixed installations, has been meticulously maintained in its original period style.
