Afghanistan was birth place of Buddhism today there are buddhists left in Afghanistan, Pakistan the birth place of Sikhs and Hindus today there is no Hindus and Sikhs left in Pakistan. Iran the birthplace of zoroastrian religion all of them had to flee from Islamic persecution they found refuge in India. The Jews persecuted by Arabs fled across the world where they were persecuted the only place they were not persecuted was Hind or India. In India on the other hand in a 90% hindu majority country where only 4-5% muslims in 1947, today there are 19% muslim this suggests the tolerance of Hindus despite knowing the muslims had killed all hindus and buddhists and sikhs in pakistan the hindus did not do the same to the muslims.
Muslims are those people who never open their mouth when muslims are killing millions of muslims in muslims countries, but even if a few killed in a largely tolerant non muslims society they speak about revenge. The muslims propaganda machinery is too powerful the full media is Pro-Islamist.

i go to an rss shaka regularly. we are not taught to raise arms against anyone, there are no hate speeches. However, in my undeniably limited experience and opinion, the depiction of the atmosphere shown in the video is misleading.
What I think is inaccurate about this, is that 'secularism' is implicitly looked at as a binary state of being for a country. In practice, I think the ebbs and flows of popular public opinion don't work that way. Even at an individual level, everyone has his/her own unique 'flair' for every aspect of their life including in perceptions and interactions with differing opinions. That is also reflected in the aggregate. And the result is that the state of secularity of any group of people is somewhere on a spectrum.
India's position on the spectrum has become slightly less secular lately but this is majorly during elections. Other times, there are many other issues and problems to focus on, we focus on them. The irony is that the opposition, in a bid to provide balance, tries to pander to minorities. And that makes them less secular by default. I don't know whether to laugh or sigh.
And that is what makes India seem even less secular when in all probabilities, without all this political manoeuvring and a little bit of smartness, it could easily be sidestepped and the focus shifted to, in my opinion again, more pressing and, frankly, important issues.

Essentially, since the 1970s, the number of seats in Parliament has been frozen while population has been steadily climbing. There are now around 2 to 2.5 million constituents per MP for a particular seat in the Lok Sabha. Essentially, the Muslim vote has been getting diluted since the freeze in enlargement. More seats that could have improved representation of Muslims was stalled. The minorities got further marginalized in a every growing population in Lok Sabha seat.
