it’s all plastic but people are blowing diffs stock so who knows. that motor is actually a chinese motor that comes with the truck stock my local hobby shop say?? i’m still shocked about how many VXL-8s updated ESC where at the hobby shop today for warranty repairs. today it was 14 last week it was 11. unbelievable great job thanks 🙏 for sharing I want to see the finish run

I have the same motor mount on my xrt I just cut a slot out the body and put a vent over the slot I cut out and it works just fine without shaving the motor mount down and the vent looks like it came attached to the car
That motor mount is not wfo. It’s Poseidon or a knock off of it. Not fitting them fans on there either boss. That motor mount is pretty wobbly from wat I heard. M2c has one that I’m using and making another one that’s going to be even better. And that 1100kv is 2-3x better then stock junk. Ur going to love it. 30-32/46 is right around we’re ur best gearing is I’m running 34 but it’s cold here
FAQ: is the turning resistance of a motor an indicator for power output? In my opinion it’s not! The manufacturers prefer or decide for the best amount of iron in the windings- some motors don’t have any iron but just copper to create the magnetic fields, so you can turn the rotor without a resistance. So now it’s a question of believe?🤷🏻♂️ More copper and more square in windings can be better but iron as core material can also be good for a more powerful magnetic field ????

Stronger magnetic seem to have better top speed but not as smooth down low
