New figures that use the Bucky-Cap shoulders have them on flipped. If you compare Human Fly's shoulders with an older Bucky-Cap, the muscles are going the opposite way. Same with figures that use the Coulson/Chameleon shoulders; Everett Ross, Mr. Knight, and Mr. Negative. Reversed wrinkles are fine, but the sleeve seams are now incorrectly on the front. And some of the figures that use Grim Reaper shoulders have them backward too. Also, if you go back and look at the old comic Mysterio figures, both his shoulders are the same piece instead of being mirrored. I think there's a design flaw with the upper boots/calves of the upcoming Molecule Man and Wonder Man. On their renders, the upper boots are on opposite legs and they curve in, whereas on the figure they curve out. You can see this in the promo shots where they tried to recreate the pose on the box.

With their commitment to increase prices in hopes to escalate lagging sales, Hasbro doesn't do itself any favors with their craftmanship. What you pointed out was shameful and I would be embarrassed to claim some sort of responsibility for it if I worked there. Hasbro ML has forced me to look elsewhere for the value in the money I spend for my Marvel comic characters.
My ML QC issues have skyrocketed this year at an alarming rate - from Mme. Hydra's arm falling off straight out of the package (where is her scar on her face?), to the visor on the new Cyclops is not straight or with the same thickness across the mask (it ends in a point at one end). With gratitude towards you giving me the advice of not tolerating issues and returning them for refunds have been a blessing, yet one I wish I didn't have to do. And why did the new Bullseye come with a holster and no gun?

Fight the Shills Manny! Hasblow has been releasing way too many quality control issues. A huge one is the overpriced Cobra Viper 3 packs that has the wrong skin tone on the viper. My Tiger Force Outback has the same issue with the drop down hip joint. Waited over a year to get that fig, but luckily he came back in stock and I got a second. Still had that issue on the second, but at least I knew to add oil. My BATs all had this issue too. They clearly need to fix that.
Also had Sgt. Kreels arm sheer off at the butterfly joint and RYV sheered off the boot at the calf swivel. One of the pegs on Iron Spider is also dangerously close to snapping off.
Luckily, I haven't had any of the paint issues that other people had like with RYV Spiderman or the 2 pack Venom, but it's been a rough QC year for Hasbro with me. The first figure I noticed started the trend with cheaper materials was on retro Spiderman 2099 last November. I always take extra care and measures to ensure my figures don't break, but all these issues were out of my control and there was no saving them

I don’t know if anyone else has notice it when hasbro makes cuts for hinges, I’ve found with several figures that they were cut out of alignment specifically (and most annoyingly, neck hinges. Instead of moving forward and back they cut them diagonally. In addition to that I’ve seen misaligned wrist pegs that shift the hand out of place, cracked shoulder joints, and even joints that were put on incorrectly. I had at least one of each of these on each of the marvel legends Quake/Maria Hill figures I bought. It took 8 tries before I got one with no defects, luckily I bought em on Amazon and could send them back over and get another one fairly easy. I love that quake figure and the marvel legends line but they need to get this shit under control.

One of the legs on my Spymaster is capable of popping off and is a tiny bit loose sometimes, but I can easily put it back and it stays and looks good no problem. The paint on his eyes is a tiny bit off center, but it is hidden by the Shadow on the temple. I also encountered the leg breaking issue with King Cobra and had to have it replaced. I also notice that sometimes, figures on the Bucky Cap & Dreadknight / Green Goblin bodies have a slight bent at the hip area, which is present on my Quasar, Sleepwalker (who also has uneven eye paint that should be a tiny bit more slanted, but is well hidden), and aforementioned King Cobra. I also noticed that most figures on the Grim-Reaper body mold either have farther knee joints causing the lower legs to kick out more (sometimes it’s only present on one leg), or they have loose hip joints causing the upper body to wobble and glob back in certain poses, which is present on my Genis Vel and a Whirlwind. I also prominently notice that some of the Build-A-Figure parts tend to have warped spots from the packaging and need to be straighten out via hairdryer or hot water (Examples from my end: Armadillo’s shell, Ursa Major’s back fur, Bonebreaker’s compartment door, and the Controller’s belt). Finally, and I’ve been hoping to say this for the longest time, whoever is sculpting the heads is not making the peg holes deep enough, as more often than not, there is often a gap in the neck revealing the peg.

I already got used to the fact that every new joe I got, have to take the legs appart, glued the fuck out of the drop down hip, and voila... I applause Hasbro for trying to incorporate premium funtionality like this, but you can't add premium desing in cheap plastic. If the ab crunch scrapes up the paint like that for Venom's spider logo, then they should have made sure the ab crunch didn't go all the way down. Hasbro has done this before with their ab crunches and they had the Animated Venom for around a year now. This should have been preventable, but like usual, Hasbro screwed up.
When I first heard about this, I was worried because this 3 Pack Venom is supposed to be my go-to Marvel Legends Venom. For figures that have articulation and are meant to be posed, this is a big issue. One wrong move and that logo is getting scratched up. :/

@@Xmanny87 It's a shame, because it's a really cool Venom figure. I recently bought the first Hasbro Marvel Legends Venom for the head sculpts, and the white paint on that figure was well applied and durable, much like the one you showed on the second Marvel Legends Venom. My copy was used, and it still looked good.
I understand that those Hyperion Venom figures didn't have consistently good paint jobs and could look fuzzy, but it would have made way more sense to apply that paint more cleanly rather than use this new white paint. It almost seems like whiteout in the way it's applied and how it can scratch off.

I can understand the new standard price of these figures being $25 IF quality wasn’t a problem but it seems like after the price increase, whatever factories they use were pumping out figures with so many problems and Hasbro seemed to just stopped caring about the final product. It is sadly commonplace for Hasbro's Marvel Legends figures to have QC problems. Sometimes the limbs aren't tight. My Iron Fist's forearm joint is so loose, that his lower arm frequently falls off completely. All of the old female bucks have warped legs that are spindly looking, and make these figures difficult to even stand. Some times feet pegs are warped, resulting in one foot not lying flush to the ground. My King Cobra figure's leg broke on the thigh joint. Turns out that Hasbro used that translucent plastic underneath all that metallic green paint, meaning that the pegs were also made from that plastic. That plastic is a fairly brittle plastic, and has no place being used on joint parts AT ALL. So that broke while the figure was simply standing up on a shelf! Not happy about that. Every figure I've bought lately deals with joints that prevent maximum movement of limbs. You can only raise arms up so far, and paint tubbing on tops of legs, shoulders and abdomens are as common as the lack of paint apps! The bottom line is this: Hasbro is using inferior plastics, and is doing way too much re-use trying to save money. They skimp out, charge more, and are trying to recoup losses that they've sustained during the past for years due to the Pandemic, etc. Hasbro is giving us less, but charging us more for that privilege. No one believes that Hasbro gives two squirts of piss about saving the planet by moving away from plastic packaging. We all know better. They are simply trying to cut costs, and are greenwashing. Corporations are going to squeeze every drop out of a turnip, and they don't care about quality. Quantity, yes, but quality is likely to ever be a top priority. They may say so, but it won't be so. At best, we're going to continue to have inconsistencies occurring with each figure release. One figure might be grand, with extra care and quality on display for all to see, while another is just going to be a generic effort at best. That's the deal. That's the reality. Either way, don't expect a lot of rational decision making from Hasbro, nor should you expect much in the way of extras and accessories. Not where Marvel Legends are concerned, at any rate. Hasbro is a corner cutting organization. Budgets dictate quality, and Hasbro would rather produce more figures of a subpar quality, than do less figures that have more quality. That's business. That's absolutely big business. That's corporate.

Shock oil and hot water won’t fix these leg issues. After it cools down it’s tight again. It’s common in only the joes because of the drop down feature. You have to take his leg off and sand down the peg a little. Then apply shock oil and pop it back on. Those Joe leg pegs are my only issue with these figures, and its a very big one. Received a new cobra trooper a while back, and ripped the leg off at the exact stress line you have there while doing a basic joint test. For an action figure that is most likely going to end up in a kids hand who will punish the figure, its horrible design.

The joints are super gummy too... I really wanted the Venom from this pack but I'm having so many regrets now...
Also, my biggest problem is that I can't get a replacement. I got mine from Amazon too, but I got mine from Amazon USA via Amazon MX because it was waaaaay cheaper that way... So my only option was to get my money back and send the figures back and then get the figures from the Amazon mexican stock for $30 dollars more... definitely not doing that after testing their bad quality first hand... And here I thought I was the only one who ran into quality control issues lol that said didn’t really notice the venom symbol on my figures scratching off but I will definitely keep an eye out for that go ahead I thought your video in time that said the only major issue I noticed was agonies head being kind of tough to get on but after some filing some heating and cooling and even a little bit of lubricant mine works just fine that said the biceps on both my agony and riot and even one of the calf rotations on my right or super gummy out of package and I had a replacement ordered to swap some of the limbs out and now I am not having as many problems as I was before so I definitely think Hasbro needs to step up their quality control because with three price increases in the span of 12 months there is no excuse for quality control is bad is that that said that really sucks about your mortgage figure having to write thighs been there done that thankfully not with a crowdfunding campaign exclusive figure but it does suck especially when you can’t just simply swap the piece out that said I did not get the galactose figure so I am missing out on not only him but that awesome looking mortgage figure been trying to find one for a decent price but doubt that’s gonna happen that said I’m glad you put this video out because not a whole lot of people do stuff like this keep up the great work man will definitely check out your venom three pack review shortly😊

Hey manny and to any one collecting some advise when dealing with collectables and collecting when your in the hunt and hunting and your adrenaline is surging and your so stoked you found or about to acquire an accusation or even getting your long awaited delivery what I do is before acquiring or assessing it, I take a step back close my eyes center myself take several deep breaths then slowly open my eyes then look at it with new eyes and with a sense of patients and clam then I can see the imperfections and flaws and then I can make a better more informed assessment’s of what I’m about to acquire, to many times in my youth I’d buy comics or thing and would be how did I not see this or that. And you will be surprise when you look again with a calmed mind all that you can see and understand. Just some knowledge for thought , any way keep up the good work thanks for the tip on the Shock oil and the Venom ab crunch warning, as for the mind bender they should have cold water washed the cloak and let it dry to remove the excess dye it’s more than QC,and Design flaw issue’s it’s greedy laziness they rushed those cloaks in to production

No. If it were like that out of the box… maybe… but YOU did that and that’s just kinda sucky that you requested a replacement for that. Just either fix the paint yourself or go and buy a new one. Any time I’ve messed with a figure and ruined the paint or anything like that by my own hand, I fix it or buy a replacement.
