    Good video as usual. I also carry rods in my car except I am using 2 pc in the trunk. I picked up a couple Garcia rods for like 16 dollars each and have been using those for over 3 years now and the only issue I have had has been the daughter closing the top eye in the door lol. So a 6 dollar replacement is all I have in them besides the original cost. I did test out a few of the Kast king and Sangayilang telescopic rods they just didn't work for me. I do use the Kastking Centron and Summer reels on them and they have been solid for the 3 years as well. So extremely cheap setups. Looking forward to the next one!

    My son 2yrs old at the time broke the tip off taking it of the packaging. Put a new tip on it and thru it in my truck. Great, great rod even with a shorter tip.

    I just ordered one on Ebay but maybe in the future when reviewing a rod load it some to show the action, it varies so much brand to brand and model to model

      Eddie Lindsay ok I’ll follow up with more.

    • @capitolbassfishing
      @capitolbassfishing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eddie Lindsay but I will say it’s much “heavier action and stiffer than the kastking and “faster”

      @@capitolbassfishing how do you think it compares to a Medium Fast non telescopic casting rod ? I know its difficult to compare that kinda stuff

    • @capitolbassfishing

      Eddie Lindsay it’s stiffer /faster than my kastking speed demon pro medium rod. For a “medium” rating it seems about perfect

    Diawa makes great stuff. I swear the Diawa BG spinning reels are the very best, most reliable, quality reels ever made, and better than everything else on the planet. I have several Diawa rods in one and two piece. Don't have any telescopic ones, except an older Shakespeare that is falling apart, and absolute junk. I'm looking for something decent that I can collapse and stow away in the trunk of my car for that convenience. I trust the Diawa brand a lot, so I'm going to have to take a serious look at one of these in an ultra light spinning rod to pair with my ultra light Abu Garcia spinning reel. Where did you get yours, Joe?

    • @ericvillano5729
      @ericvillano5729 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem I have with most telescopic rods is they are poorly made by comparison to most one or 2 piece rods. I'd be willing to pay a little more for a decent one made to last. Something in a light to ultra light, but strong, about 6 or 6.5 feet extended. If this is like anything else made by Diawa, I'm sure it's pretty decent quality. I'm wondering if there's a good light/ultra light equivalent in a spinning rod like yours. Who is the seller on Ebay?

    • @capitolbassfishing
      @capitolbassfishing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep, just took it to the beach...was planning on some pond fishing near Bethany Beach Deleware...didnt happen. I broke my first one at the tip...my fault though - handling issue. I got another one and keep it in the case, its fine and biggest fish 2-3 lb but honestly its very strong. 5-10 pounder no problem.

    Found a few in stock!
    Have the 6106 and 636 on it’s way
    My plan is to have this rigged with a speed clip, locked and loaded in my car for those quick after work trips
    I had the kastking version but the segments got stuck on me and wouldn’t collapse (tried everything)
    How is your triple B holding up?

    Hello! Are you still happy with your Daiwa BBB? Do you still use it? I'm thinking about getting one (they are still made, I can find them for the same price you did both on Ebay and some other websites). I've never fished and this is going to be my first rod, I need a telescopic one for backpacking and ease of use. I'm only gonna go after trouts in Alpine lakes and rivers, so I might go for the smaller versions compared to yours. Not sure!
