I Have the feyutech, and actually it's really good when you mastering how to use it and smooth the movements, specially filming in smooth mode. It's a good choice to have as a back up gimbal. We never know when something it's gotta happen.
But the Dji it's amazing, and the price point it's definitely the reason.
Me too. I find it's a great gimbal for the price, and fits my canon rebel sl2 just fine.
Well, I figured I was going to have to get the Ronin but this just made it even more apparent. Thank you!

I would try updating the firmware on both gimbals first.
I got the dji rsc which about the same price as the cheap gimbal and it performs very well. It has great stabilization and has all of the dji perks. The rsc is meant for smaller cameras though so if you have a larger camera you will need the rs2

How about this idea. Buy 3 for the price of 1! I have two 2000c paired with Panasonic G85 which has IBIS and OIS and that is the magic. I have also owned the RSC and prefer the 2000c. And most important, it's not about the weight of the gimbal, a heavy camera/lens weight that will make for a very long and exhausted day. I also use a Fuji X-S10 on the 2000c with absolutly no problem. Maybe it's time for my 3rd Feyutech!
I have both of them. Dji performs better stablization because it's heavier. It's simply physics. Not about the tech.
What about the Manfrotto Gimbal 220? Manfrotto has been in the photography and video arena for quite some time.
The stabilization tests raise the question of how heavy a payload was used in the testing? Odd thing to leave out when they don't have identical supported amounts.

i recommend buying a lens with stabilizing capabilities...
It doesn't stabilize nearly as well as a gimbal does.

Just what do you mean by 10 pound and 5 pound
They mean the amount of total maximum weight the gymbal can balance successfully, any weight that is higher than those respectively will cause said gymbal to not balance correctly. Hope it helps!
Weight. You won't be able to rig the camera as much for the cheaper gimbal - bigger lenses, wireless transmitters and batteries for monitors etc. They add a ton of extra weight.

Those kids collected basic facts about filmmaking that all of you can find browsing the internet or youtube for FREE. If they are so professional why then they do not succeed in Hollywood and need to sell you their BS for money?
i agree that they are overpriced and sell themselves as more. BUT they make the job of collecting all that information for you so you dont have to search it. they put it separated into videos to make things structured for you. and they explain it easy and effective to you.
everything a teacher says at school can be found online as well, so why do we still need teachers? fire them all, right? Let students browse the internet for 8 hours a day straight instead of school, right? everything that doctors get taught in university can be found in the internet for free as well. so why not scroll google for 8 years every day and then you can graduate as a surgeron?
