I was in a really bad place as being someone who never in his life had experienced anxiety I started getting these horrible panic attacks a few years ago after I was assaulted. This channel saved me from becoming suicidal. I have too much respect for this woman. I love Benji too. lol
Have always resisted commenting for fear of coming across as eye rollingly cheesy or attention seeking; but just wanted to say thank you very much. I'm suffering from a particularly bad bout of anxiety/depression at the moment; but showing up and committing to yoga every day is helping so much with regards to my motivation, and giving me some space to reside in. Thanks so much for the work you do, I hope someday I can afford to pay you back.

Greet day 16🎉 I'm full of cold today so my mum told me to take it easy and lay on the sofa with a pillow and a blanket (which I will definitely be doing, whilst watching Friends😊) but first I decided to come to my mat as it looked like a nice gentle practice, which it was and is just what I needed. Thank you, Adriene, for the timing of this practice, it was perfect for today. 💖🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻

I was diagnosed with facial cancer in 2016 and had to have half of my bone/skin from my cheek removed because of it... Even though my cheek has a skin flap over it + I have to have facial reconstruction... I've had terrible social anxiety since because of the stares and people not getting to know me because THEY feel uncomfortable. I had a terrible day yesterday once the same thing i feared happened, but doing this has put me in a better mood so thank you 💕😊
WONDER (Dec 2023) day 15: I've sort of managed to overcome the worst of my social anxiety through much exposure therapy and general therapy, but I still struggle a lot with general anxiety and stress. This practice helped me get out of my head for a little while, so thank you, Adriene, for another much needed practice. And to all my other Wonders: enjoy ❤

I had anxiety attack today, the first in a while. I’m going to bed now but I’m going to try this in the morning. Thanks! Unrelated: Five days a week, I use three of your videos to stretch my hips, back, neck, and shoulders. Since I started a few weeks ago, my chronic pain has reduced SO MUCH. You are a god send. I also suffer from chronic pain and also have been using these videos, and they've been immensely helpful. Currently doing the dedicate 30 day series. I wonder how related anxiety and chronic pain are? While I have chronic pain, a close relative deals with chronic anxiety, and I know I have a tendency towards anxiety myself... If I understand correctly, a lot of times chronic pain is caused by inflammation which is the overstimulation of the immune system, and anxiety seems to be an overstimulation of the mind.... just spitting some stuff out there, would be curious to hear your thoughts.
Been gone awhile. Kidney/Lower back again. A never ending battle. During this time, I have felt sluggish and mentally not challenged. So, when the pain subsided, I came back and after this session, I feel more energized! Mr. Kidney stone has decided to take a nap (its still there) and Mr. Back isn't complaining and might go back to sleep. It felt good to mentally relax and stretch! Hopefully tomorrow will be the same. Gracias Kiddo!
Thank you Adriene, I have struggled with social anxiety for many years. I still have times when it hits me, but having my daily yoga and meditation practice really helps. I m having an extreme stage of social phobia since 3-4 years i can't enjoy anything in my life every single day of my life brought a heavy mental as well as physical burden for me...I don't want to live with such a burden anymore.. please if anybody have same symptoms like ..Over sweating while going to any public places/ relatives/friends/ or even to talk with a single person....Heart Palpitations.. Anxious, Blushing, and nervousness on face, Stammering, and many more... Please reply for further discussion...
Get rid of what doesn't serve you. I started to fill up with tears and then you said lift the corners of your mouth and the tears disappeared. My anxiety comes from working with the public..they can be very unkind and unpredictable. Thank you adrienne and our beautiful yoga community ❤️

I'm new to this community, have been away from a regular yoga practice for years but started following along on the monthly playlists last month. When Adriene says "I've got your back" at the end, tears started rolling down my cheeks. This is exactly what I needed today and I didn't realise it till that moment. Thank you Adriene.
Not facing any anxiety at the moment, but I did find this low-to-the-ground practice soothing and beneficial as I move past this allergy and/or sinus infection that has been present tge last day or so. So true what Adriene says shortly before 19 minutes. It is how we react to what is happening that is important. I have noticed a distinct difference through practice. Despite the situation going on physically in my head, I have been upbeat and generally happy. The mind does not have to react negatively to a physical event. I hope everyone enjoys this practice. I am going to save it for when needed. 💜🙏 Trust day 4. 212 days in a row.
Yes, well put! I still struggle with this a lot, but Yoga really helps me to let go and shift my perspective. On some days more than on others, but every step counts :) Get better soon!
I was so excited to do this practice at the end of my day. Day 4 of TRUST and 4th month this year of following the daily calendars. Im so glad I've kept my devotion to yoga and my mat because it helps me get through the tough days but also appreciate the easy or awesome days.
Greet Day 16: after laying in bed most of the days for the past week and half from depression and boredom. I found this practice to be helpful for my hips and lower back as they are tight and locked up. I hope that I can feel better soon and get back into the groove of things because I’m very tired of being tired.

Trust Day 4: For the past year I have not felt social anxiety because I have not been in social situations due to the pandemic. I got my first vaccination today, and am looking forward to the day when I'm fully vaccinated and can feel safer around others.
I have social anxiety...and it affects my confidence very often.I saw this video at the right time and feel much better after doing it. Your other videos have helped me as well. I finished the 30 day journey .It makes me feel relaxed and happier. I can see Benji feels the same way after watching you practise. 😂
After 5 months of failing job interviews I did this video on Thursday eve before my Friday interview . . and I got the job! Thank you so much Adriene 💖💖

I haven't done yoga for about more than a week now and that time I was away from the mat was painful, I couldn't handle my thoughts and just the thought of catching up on the practices I missed made me reluctant to get on my mat. But today, I finally got to my mat and did the practice for today, I told myself " just do what you need to today, don't worry about yesterday." I forgot how amazing and relieved I feel when I practice with Adriene and when she said I love you, i felt my eyes tear up, and i have never felt that before during yoga. I guess this "break" (more of laziness actually) from yoga made me realise it's importance to me and my body. I love you so much Adriene, and thank you for being there, always. Jasmeet 💜

ROOT 🌳 | April 7, 2023 | Part 2 - What a beautiful companion to the Breath of Fire video, especially with the bit of core work at the end. It's been a while since we did this practice so I was glad to see it on the calendar. It leaves me calm, soothed and balanced! 🙏
After yesterday’s physical challenge workout this new Sunday practice was slow and gentle and mindful, collecting my thoughts along the way, listening carefully to every word Adriene, so good. I was surprised and very pleased with that little core practice at the end. I smiled through that bit as it was very appropriate after yesterday 😂 and made me feel good, just right. Root day 8. April 2023. I should have done this yesterday but I missed it, for some reason. Lovely gentle practice with some core work at the end. Really nice after a run this morning.

This video and Yoga with Adriene in general has changed my life. I was doing a youtube workout (one of those 28 day challenges. I won't say who it was.) and in the middle of it, I just felt so... defeated. Like everything I was doing was a competition. And because I was not the best or the strongest or the most conventionally attractive, why bother? So I was brave and stopped the workout. I stopped punishing myself. I came to this video because I am very anxious and promised myself I would get through this video. It was only 20 minutes-- I could afford to spend 20 minutes on myself. I figured the world probably wouldn't implode. And I did the video. And ngl, tears were coming out of my eyes. I felt reconnected to myself in a way that I never have. I do not have a good relationship with my body. ... But yoga videos like these remind me that my body is good too. Because it simply is. Thank you Adriene.
Hello, switching days from two to three because I needed this tonight. It has helped me unwind from a day that was nice, but anxiety inducing. I feel centered and restful.🙏🏻💤

Lovely end to my last day of work in 2021. 2 full weeks of family time and rest and recovery ready to start fresh in 2022 🥰

Not facing any anxiety at the moment, but I did find this low-to-the-ground practice soothing and beneficial as I move past this allergy and/or sinus infection that has been present tge last day or so.
So true what Adriene says shortly before 19 minutes. It is how we react to what is happening that is important. I have noticed a distinct difference through practice. Despite the situation going on physically in my head, I have been upbeat and generally happy. The mind does not have to react negatively to a physical event.
I hope everyone enjoys this practice. I am going to save it for when needed. 💜🙏

Yes, well put! I still struggle with this a lot, but Yoga really helps me to let go and shift my perspective. On some days more than on others, but every step counts :)

Loved this! Would say it's good for every kind of anxiety. The pace was perfect and I could really focus on my breath. Very calming.

I was so excited to do this practice at the end of my day. Day 4 of TRUST and 4th month this year of following the daily calendars. Im so glad I've kept my devotion to yoga and my mat because it helps me get through the tough days but also appreciate the easy or awesome days.

Greet Day 16: after laying in bed most of the days for the past week and half from depression and boredom. I found this practice to be helpful for my hips and lower back as they are tight and locked up. I hope that I can feel better soon and get back into the groove of things because I’m very tired of being tired.

I've been practicing Yoga every day since I finished the 30 day yoga journey with YWA! It's incredible how 20 min of Yoga can create such a positive effect in our bodies. Suddenly we're celebrating the beautiful thing that is to be alive! Thank you Adriene and for all the YWA community. Namaste ❤️

Trust Day 4: For the past year I have not felt social anxiety because I have not been in social situations due to the pandemic. I got my first vaccination today, and am looking forward to the day when I'm fully vaccinated and can feel safer around others.
I have social anxiety...and it affects my confidence very often.I saw this video at the right time and feel much better after doing it. Your other videos have helped me as well. I finished the 30 day journey .It makes me feel relaxed and happier. I can see Benji feels the same way after watching you practise. 😂
After 5 months of failing job interviews I did this video on Thursday eve before my Friday interview . . and I got the job! Thank you so much Adriene 💖💖

I haven't done yoga for about more than a week now and that time I was away from the mat was painful, I couldn't handle my thoughts and just the thought of catching up on the practices I missed made me reluctant to get on my mat. But today, I finally got to my mat and did the practice for today, I told myself " just do what you need to today, don't worry about yesterday." I forgot how amazing and relieved I feel when I practice with Adriene and when she said I love you, i felt my eyes tear up, and i have never felt that before during yoga. I guess this "break" (more of laziness actually) from yoga made me realise it's importance to me and my body. I love you so much Adriene, and thank you for being there, always.

After yesterday’s physical challenge workout this new Sunday practice was slow and gentle and mindful, collecting my thoughts along the way, listening carefully to every word Adriene, so good. I was surprised and very pleased with that little core practice at the end. I smiled through that bit as it was very appropriate after yesterday 😂 and made me feel good, just right. This video and Yoga with Adriene in general has changed my life.
I was doing a youtube workout (one of those 28 day challenges. I won't say who it was.) and in the middle of it, I just felt so... defeated. Like everything I was doing was a competition. And because I was not the best or the strongest or the most conventionally attractive, why bother?
So I was brave and stopped the workout. I stopped punishing myself. I came to this video because I am very anxious and promised myself I would get through this video. It was only 20 minutes-- I could afford to spend 20 minutes on myself. I figured the world probably wouldn't implode.
And I did the video. And ngl, tears were coming out of my eyes. I felt reconnected to myself in a way that I never have. I do not have a good relationship with my body. ... But yoga videos like these remind me that my body is good too. Because it simply is.

Thank you so much for this needed practice. I have been having anxiety and spikes over past few weeks; a lot of doubt/ judgement / rumination/ worry/ avoidance and yes of entanglement - all the 'good' stuff which I know I know .... throw me off the mindfulness wagon ... mindfulness / my plants and THIS really really really helping me alot!
