Indian state apparatus is well-aware that the calls to re-engage from Pakistani circles now are more from the point of their own economic necessity, rather than a genuine paradigm shift within the powers that actually control Pakistan's foreign policy. The biggest evidence is how this gentleman mentioned Vajpayee's visit to Pakistan as the PM from BJP, but surprisingly (or rather not surprisingly) did not mention at all, that it was the biggest breach of trust between the two countries what happened after that visit. Why would any Indian PM in future want to put his domestic political capital at stake again, when each serious attempt to re-engage has been met with such responses? Then the discussion is conveniently shifted to highlighting how Modi is a villain and it's a gone case. Well here's the ground situation in India. Modi can still choose to re-engage with Pakistan after 2024 Indian elections, and his voter will largely still stand behind him on that. The problem is, what would happen right after that attempt to engage? Another Kargil, or Pathankot? That's when Modi's voters (and obv his opposition) will criticize him and call him politically weak. And history suggests there are high chances of that happening again. So in a nutshell, the Indian state's policy vis-a-vis Pakistan now is fairly straightforward. Until there are signs of a serious paradigm shift within Pakistan's power circles, and that also includes a dilution in power of military establishment (cause as a security state, hostility with India is still a source of popularity and hold over power for the establishment even though the waters are somewhat stable temporarily), the cost of re-engaging with Pakistan far-outweighs the benefits. Even in terms of economics, does Pakistan produce anything that India doesn't or at a cheaper cost? No. Does Pakistan represent a significant consumer market for Indian goods? Certainly not at this point with regards to its consumer purchasing power. Does using trade routes via Pakistan into central Asia benefit India? In an ideal world yes. But there's little point investing financially and politically into a trade system that can again be easily sabotaged by another skirmish or flashpoint of hostility. It's much safer in the medium to long term to invest in alternative trade routes via Iran through central Asia and then Europe.
Pakistan is run by its army, there is a line you cannot cross when you are in the media or political position. Imran Khan crossed that line, and despite being the most popular politician in the history of Pak is sitting in a jail cell. The army are assholes, and we know it. They have sold our country out for their own personal benefit. Nothing will change until they are out of power, but that requires foreign intervention as no local institution is strong enough to overthrow them. This individual is being identified as a significant contributor to the challenges Pakistan is currently encountering. India had conducted nuclear tests as far back as the 1974s, prompting questions about the motive behind India's 1998 nuclear tests. Some speculate that these tests were a strategic maneuver aimed at enticing Pakistan into conducting its own nuclear tests, ultimately leading to Pakistan forfeiting potential benefits.
98 nuclear tests prevented Balkanization of India. Otherwise US atleast wanted to do something like Iraq with India. 98 nuclear tests and 99 kargil war changed the geopolitics of the entire region.

Mushahid sb has observed the great global shifts closely, and on top of that he knows the art of interpreting his vast data positively in the right direction. Following the Quaid when he said we should maintain our relations with the nebors just as the the US has with Canada, Syed sb emphasizes on Pakistan going the same way with India, Iran, Afghanistan and China. For this, he guides the higher-ups to propel the wheels of artists and players
After listening to this man I think there is no reason for not voting Modi ....Lets go for Modi 3.0 and make India great again

And, I thank you so much FOR waking up a SLEEPING NATION EMBROILED IN THE PETTY STRUGGLE FOR UNSTABLE POLITICAL POWERS!
JIZZAKALLA KHAIR!
This individual is being identified as a significant contributor to the challenges Pakistan is currently encountering. India had conducted nuclear tests as far back as the 1974s, prompting questions about the motive behind India's 1998 nuclear tests. Some speculate that these tests were a strategic maneuver aimed at enticing Pakistan into conducting its own nuclear tests, ultimately leading to Pakistan forfeiting potential benefits.
what potential rewards?? you fool no one
lol
😂😂😂😂 these Pakistani cannot comprehend
Fantastic comment! These people are to Pakistan what covid19 is to the entire world.
98 nuclear tests prevented Balkanization of India. Otherwise US atleast wanted to do something like Iraq with India. 98 nuclear tests and 99 kargil war changed the geopolitics of the entire region.
One of the best podcast I have ever seen my bro. No doubt you have skills but your content and questions in the interview are fabulous. Thank you for not wasting my time Sir. Respect from London
We like watching you guys because we like to be aware of our surroundings, but this assumption of Pakistan bashing, let me assure you the same person Modi once suggested to stop thinking about Pakistan (it will die its own death) since then; coercing people to talk about Pakistan has stopped. You might get people from India talking about Pakistan but that minuscule people might seem like a country only because of India's population, we are really not thinking about you at all.
That's why u r commenting on this video on a pakistani channel...such a large comment

Very different from other Pakistani politicians, Mr Mushahid HUSSAIN 👍

Just delete your comment brother, you are commenting baseless we should promote friendship not blame game, As a Indian I am ashamed of your comments
Sibling is the wrong word tbh, its more like there was tumor (paxtn) removed from human body but that tumor is still corrupting the human.

This guy has the audacity to talk about genocide in Palestine while it was under pak dictator zia ul haq the a actual genocide of Palestinians happened, check the history
3:25 Black September ' 71
So Zia ul haq was elected by people of Pakistan?
As I recall it the Jordanian King Hussein called in his Pakistani friends to quell the unrest caused by the Palestinians in Jordan. I think the PLO was active in Jordan then. Zia was dispatched and indeed they cracked down on the Palestinians in Jordan. The relationship of Jordan and Israel is interesting to note, it was pretty accommodating under King Hussein.
