@@JJocu I'm not sure how people have problems with this game, it's amazing. The only small complaints I have are that it's a little too easy on regular playthrough, NG+ is at a great difficulty but lots of people won't redo the game for that. Apart from that I guess the lack of secret items/bosses/areas with ultra hard content is something I miss and lack of control over party members/what they are doing. Everything else is great and it is 100% what Final Fantasy needed.
MGR did have some pretty insane ones too. They were more on the goofy side like dmc which are pretty fun to watch, but the ones here look very pretty, and just when you think it's over it keeps going
Titan having all the trappings and spectacle of a final boss , despite being a mid-story fight has Asura's Wrath and Platinum Games' style written all over it. They didn't have to go this hard, but I'm glad they did!

i rarely give 10/10 to any boss fight but in this one i had to give titan boss fight a 11/10 (and another 11/10 to other boss later on as well) absolutely epic
Hope Asmon keeps pushing to the end for this game. He's obviously enjoying it but I hope he just ignores what chat and the outside critiques are saying and just experience it for himself. You don't get an FF game of this quality very frequently. I hope he sticks to the end.

Im almost at the end of the game and my god is it good! Its not perfect but definitely one of the most fun Final Fantasy games i played. For those who only like traditional RPGs i can assure you that this game is worth your time.
i will say, ironically enough what brings this game down, is its "XIV-ness". the absurdly boring equipments, the long cooldowns, items being borderline useless for most of the time(except the eventual potion used here and there).

This game has highs that I haven't experienced in some time including that ridiculous Titan fight. I do think the side quests can be classed mostly as filler but I'm enjoying this game and want to spend as much time as possible in the world before it is over.
I knew chat was going to explode when I saw that scene for the first time in my playthrough. I also loved chat's reaction to the "he had his nose buried in my nuts" line. Koji was wild leaving that line in, he knew what he was doing. 😂

The emotional intensity in the first kupka fight has made it my favorite so far. Him pounding the ground with his stumps while blood drips out of them is so uncomfortable to watch lol.
Keep in mind how freaking big Garuda's toe/talon was when Clive cut it off, it was bigger than him! Then keep in mind that Ifrit and Garuda are about the same size... Now compare Ifrit to Titan's size yet lone Lost's size... Jesus. They're behemoths.
As we saw in the shiva vs titan fight, normal human is barely the size of the tip of titan's finger spikes, not even his actual finger lol. Kinda crazy to think normal human are just dust sized in the falling fight part.
I really love the Titan's reference to XIV. Landslide is a line attack, Tumult is a circular stomping AoE, and Earthen Fury is a shouting move inflicting massive damage. "My hatred (for you) is unending, unyielding" is a line said by the Titan when he transformed for 2nd phase.
@@corwinchapman8270 Zantetsuken on single targets and trash mobs is so good. Odin is by far the best Eikon easily. Rift Slip and Dancing Steel are amazing. Equip Dancing Steel 25% increase on Zantetsuken Gauge (you get it from the Odin chronolith trial), you can get level 5 in almost one Dancing Steel. So you can start a fight with level 5, stagger an enemy, use Diamond Dust (almost to 1.5 multiplier instantly), then in-between you use Rift Slip to give you extra time to do more skills, set up lightning rod if you have it, use Zantetsuken, then use Dancing Steel, almost level 5, Rift Slip, get some hits in to get to level 5, then Zantetsuken again. Then you can just finish off with Gigaflare and the enemy will likely die or be very close. I've gotten up to like 150k stagger damage at level 47 or 48, it's probably gonna be really high on NG+.
I find it crazy that one of the most clueless gamers is so popular lol misses button input tutorials, can't comprehend how to full combo, doesn't assume he can shoot his fireball to destroy the rocks....

Especially if you don’t frequent FF circles online, the likelihood of getting spoilers thrown at you would be small. In re: his opening comment about side quests, I agree. Many of them do feel like they should have been part of the main story. Hell, some are as complicated as a main story quest.
Bruh it's always so immersion-shattering with these games. You get done fighting some big god-thing, and then random-ass mobs in a some fetch quest right after that are comparable.
Classic Asmongold the game literally pops up a thing that explains how protect works and says how to get around it. He reads it. Then immediately struggles with the mechanic that was just spoon fed to him. 😂
Same with the rest of the combat, he does nothing but ignition spam off cd and basic bitch 4 hit combo, no air combat, no chaining abilities, nor using any of the counters. Him being on story difficulty doesn't help him learn either, everything dies to fast.

In the Titan fight I literally didn't have to use a single heal. My health bar was only 2/3s depleted by time I killed Titan. Asmon just doesn't pay attention. His MMO wired brain has trouble perceiving things on screen when more than 3 things are happening at once. LOL
I’ve beaten this game couple days ago so my honeymoon period is over and let me tell you that I would put this game as my 2nd favorite FF game. My only regret is spending $70 when I could’ve bought deluxe version with sound tracks…

My favourite thing about the combat is just using Ignition to pick up all the trash mobs and then use a multi hit like gouge to finish the rest off 😂

@@corwinchapman8270 Zantetsuken on single targets and trash mobs is so good. Odin is by far the best Eikon easily. Rift Slip and Dancing Steel are amazing. Equip Dancing Steel 25% increase on Zantetsuken Gauge (you get it from the Odin chronolith trial), you can get level 5 in almost one Dancing Steel. So you can start a fight with level 5, stagger an enemy, use Diamond Dust (almost to 1.5 multiplier instantly), then in-between you use Rift Slip to give you extra time to do more skills, set up lightning rod if you have it, use Zantetsuken, then use Dancing Steel, almost level 5, Rift Slip, get some hits in to get to level 5, then Zantetsuken again. Then you can just finish off with Gigaflare and the enemy will likely die or be very close. I've gotten up to like 150k stagger damage at level 47 or 48, it's probably gonna be really high on NG+.

Especially if you don’t frequent FF circles online, the likelihood of getting spoilers thrown at you would be small. Trust me, I’ve had to avoid spoilers for multiple JRPGs that I’m planning on playing eventually, it is possible.

In re: his opening comment about side quests, I agree. Many of them do feel like they should have been part of the main story. Hell, some are as complicated as a main story quest.

Bruh it's always so immersion-shattering with these games. You get done fighting some big god-thing, and then random-ass mobs in a some fetch quest right after that are comparable.
Titan boss fight literally just kept getting better and better.
Classic Asmongold the game literally pops up a thing that explains how protect works and says how to get around it. He reads it. Then immediately struggles with the mechanic that was just spoon fed to him. 😂
Same with the rest of the combat, he does nothing but ignition spam off cd and basic bitch 4 hit combo, no air combat, no chaining abilities, nor using any of the counters.
Him being on story difficulty doesn't help him learn either, everything dies to fast.

Watching asmon's 2 brain cells fight titan was very hard
I dont usually complain about peoples skills to play games but its so tedious to watch when he doesnt pay attention and just spams attacks and fail QTEs constantly and apparently he rediscovers dodge button everytime there is a new boss.
In the Titan fight I literally didn't have to use a single heal. My health bar was only 2/3s depleted by time I killed Titan. Asmon just doesn't pay attention. His MMO wired brain has trouble perceiving things on screen when more than 3 things are happening at once. LOL
This so much, he can't play for shit.
I love the mouthbreathers calling gameplay with full range of motion and attacking “cUtsCenEs” because their tiny minds cannot fathom it 😂

I’ve beaten this game couple days ago so my honeymoon period is over and let me tell you that I would put this game as my 2nd favorite FF game. My only regret is spending $70 when I could’ve bought deluxe version with sound tracks…
