OM 613 is another diesel engine from Europe that we are not allowed to have in the United States. Fantastic presentation. Fantastic technical prowess. Looking forward to see what you do with the 648.

@@eXactiveQ US air pollution restrictions make it impossible for this vehicle to get registered after import, it's really difficult with many other cars as well... You can look up what happens to japanese imports, it's bullshit... imo USA basically didn't like that people buy cars from 3rd countries
You got the W211 E320 cdi, isn't that the same engine?
@@mironinogieksa You can blame Mercedes for that. New emission standards at the time lowered power for US models when the W126 S-Classes came out so everyone bought grey imports from Germany. Of course MB didn't want their US dealers to lose revenue so they pressured congress into a law that only cars of 25 yrs of age or older can be imported. Still stands today....

Man, nice to see you finally have come to the digital age and away from the tractor tech. But you have done many things wrong with this engine, maybe not wrong, but unnecessary, first of all the 400cdi pump doesn't need aux pump to feed it, it has a gearpump in it.
Intake manifold is good for up to 700-800 horse without any modifications. Tuikku has done couple of very powerful cdi engines, and you can get 400 horse with vnt turbo, stock manifolds and stock exhaust without the cat.
But you are not going to get there with those amg injectors, they flow only to around 65-70hp each on 1800bar.

Me too. I have a W211, OM648 and a 722,6 trans. Offer me an upgrade and I would buy it. My car needs to be quick. I have done 135mph. However, it takes forever to get there. DieselPumpUK, Offer me a kit please. I would be happy with 400hp 😁😁 and 700 torque😁😁.

Any plans for w211 om648. And the biggest concern in this build is to carry out thorough cleaning intervals for cold air intake filter. Hope you will come up with a custom airbox.

I don´t know how far this engine is from the OM612 in terms of using your developed tuning parts, but it would be awesome, if you guys could tweak a 612, for all the 5 cylinder addicts.

OM613 :O Thats a big ass coolant reservoir, Turbo right on the left of the common rail and injectors. Thats so accessible. Everything is so much nicer than my OM648
Mercedes W210 cdi engines are probably the best engineered engines to work on

For the egr delete. Do you need to change the software from the ecu or can you just delete the egr

The engine looks the same as the e320cdi in the w211 is it similar and if so what sort of budget would I need to take my e320cdi w211 to this or a similar spec. It's the brabus d6 version so needs to go like it looks

Good work, very detailed, but actually it is a lot of work on 613. I wanted to buy one mercedes, and i found w210 613 in very good condition, but im thinking is it maybe better to go with om 606

I have a 2000 E430 wagon here in Canada with 42,000 km. Am I missing something or is there nothing off the shelf to bump performance?
Nothing really. If you actually have a 42k km car, keep it stock. Must be a pristine car.
Can I use your intake manifold on an otherwise standard car? As in I just want Max reliability, no egr, no flaps.

I am more of a Honda guy myself but i daily mercedes diesel and want to get into tuning these things. Are there any mercedes diesel tuning communities or forums or facebook groups etc one can join? I havent found much at all on the internet, just a couple guys in scandinavia or you in the uk or some eastern european blokes but no communities where you can learn about the cars and the possibilities, i mean with honda its massivly different so much resources on the internet and big communities etc. very good. but all the diesel guys seem to know what they are doing allready and there are no communities lol.

There's no direct fit gearbox. OM613 has different bolt pattern and has bigger in diameter starter ring also.

@@ari3.2cdi30 i personaly dont like it , my 648 is currently 380hp and soon in few days im waiting my maper to have some time to rewrite the soft , im ready for over 400 hp

I hate the om 642 because the V6 Engine. Im absolutely R6 Fan. What have you done with your gearbox Software. I have also an om613 and om 648 but my om 648 have switching brakes and Nobody can do it .
i got W211 OM648 232kw@ wheels with 722.6 gearbox and similar setup but with stock turbo(hybrid on it) im running 2 bar boost AMG nozzles 400 cdi pump and more .... i got 315hp @ wheels and 777nm@ wheels , but my draivtrain loss is around 17-18% so i think its 380 engine hp not 400 :)) however , have you measured 100-200 time on this car ? im realy curoius mate :)
