@amimenamimen8599 winter in Poland we have loads of snow and ice and they use some kind of mix of salt and shit and you can almost hear the rust eating your poor car. my benz is from 96' and its completely rustfree
You can see that the owner loved and took care of his Mercedes before he left it in the garage, because it is not rusty at all like a W210. Complete user manual with service book and two keys, even hubcaps. There is some rust under the battery, but not too much

Nice car stored correctly with no rust problems. Most of these have turned to rust by now but the engines will keep going, mercades like to design 1,000,000 mile engine then drop it into a shell that turn to rust in 15-20yrs
The heater core gave out because of the old coolant still in the system. That coolant was in there for at least 9 years. Most coolants even the modern HOAT or OAT coolant last for 5-7 years then have to be flushed and changed our 😊
15-20?😂 10-12 in Germany! Thousands of w210 got. New Doors and Wings. But a lot of them were so Bradley rusted, Mercedes bought them back, because was a rust warranty, but no reasonable way to restore them.

Well, I didn't expect that, a great piece with almost no signs of rust etc. a few spots can be found, like a bumper but otherwise a very nice piece and of course a great video, keep it up, I always look forward to new and new releases 🎉

One thing I would do before starting it is put the fuel lubricants additives in its fuel to boost lubricity and to clean the varnish from the system on initial start-up. 😊

This Is a car to fix properly. Very nice finding guys. Adjust the smoke on the back, the alternator, a cleaning, new brakes and suspensions and It will go like forever.

I really wish Mercedes brought different trim level vehicles to the US. We haven’t been able to get a Benz with cloth/velour seats since the ‘70s and I’m sorry, the cloth looks so much better than that MB-TEX “leatherette” we get on some vehicles.
And not just that what you now here talked about. But, also manual heating and AC controls. THE automatic that we get here in THE US sucks. Never work right Always problems not getting THE right tempo. Ok, att läst we have THE same jumpers and headlights now so that's Good 😅 Back in THE days with THE 5 crazy bumbers and crazy head lights it sucks. I used to go to pick and pull to get from what they called THE Gray market Cars to get THE Euro bumbers and head lights with that or those THE car looked so much sexier IF that meant anything but it did, for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤😊

The sound of the diesel is worse than my uncle's 60+ years old tractor! 😄 It may be caused by old fuel or clogged fuel filter or some possible leaks in exhaustion system I guess. I know the cold diesels in generaly are iddling and running roughly until they achieve the working temperature. I am not sure if the test drive in this case was long enough to warm up the engine because it looked like the engine was still running roughly. This is what I think Flexiny should take a look on that (especialy if he wants to sell that car). Another thing I noticed is that right front door has a little bit darker color then rest of the body. It was probably repaired or replaced! Otherwise, good job and good video as ussualy!
That OM606 was reluctant to come back, but it did, though does seem to have issues with burning oil, probably stuck rings (or more likely sticking injectors over-fuelling) from having sat so long...
our it just has old diesel still inside of the fuel tank best move is to remove it before filling it up it will just mix up with all the crap that is still inside, blue smoke also can be a sign of bad quality diesel fuel, with bad rings, it would build up a lot of pressure, that will blow out of the oil fill cap..
@@bamiee1337 Diesel fuel doesn't break down like petrol does, it can sit for years and only mildly discolour, but still have the majority of its' potency from the day it was first made, "bad quality diesel" is also kind of hard to come by in modern countries (more than likely there'd be dirty fuel from poor storage, which is what the filter plugged up with causing it to stall), but looking back again, it's quite likely that it's sticking injectors over-fuelling, given it sat for 9 years and goodness knows what condition they were in to begin with when parked...
@@twocvbloke ye you are true, iam not very known with car diesel engines i own a trucking company, but truck diesel is also different then regular diesel around here in the netherlands, somehow diesel get's bad very quick. Maybe it has to do with the region where you making a living and what additions they add to it, the same with regular petrol yes it gets old much quicker, but it depends on what they add to it how long it holds up it's quality gas from a discounter never hold up as long, as premium 98 from shell.. i dunno.. but i have seen very dirty fuel tank's from a couple of old scania's that i had sitting on my lot years back.. and they were parked up with a full tank of diesel for almost 6 years... who know's but i know the tanks were clean before that..
@@bamiee1337 Modern diesel tends to come laced with biodiesel which does break down over time and cause problems (one being so-called "diesel bug" which is a bacterial breakdown of contaminated fuel), and with trucking diesel they're not always great with storing the stuff so requires decent filtration on HGVs to ensure the dirt and water doesn't get into the engines, but petrol on the other hand has a lot of volatile compounds that evaporate quickly over time, leaving behind the addiitives and lubricants they add at the refineries reducing its potency and gumming up fuel systems, and of course the modern stuff has up to 10% ethanol added which just makes the problem worse with storing the fuel long term as this can attaract water into the fuel if it's not stored in ideal conditions...
I'm actually going to Estonia today (dont ask me why) so I think there is 1 in a 1.3 million chance that I meet Flexiny. I guess Estonia has a lot of abandoned cars

whatever you do to a W210, you can't prevent/stop the rust, it's one of the worst MBs in that respect, if not the worst

It's alternator was damaged so I don't think the AC would operate at too low of voltage and also if the lines were damaged as well. 😊

There is a small airleak somewhere in the fuel lines. That is why it keeps smoking grey. It draws some false air somewhere.

It’s diesel not petrol. Diesel lasts a hell of a lot longer than petrol does.
