@@doommarine4811 People like New Vegas because its a true role playing experience: your choices matter, your choices determine how the game ends, the DLC is gold, the characters are amazing, the followers actually have personality, and the stats/perks you choose actually determine the gameplay style of the character, since there was a level cap and you actually had to choose carefully. People don't like Fallout 4 because it literally lacks everything I just listed.

If you listen in a conversation and empathize and see someone's views on a topic and understand them, you can have a better healthier relationship with that person even if they have different Ideals. Speech in this game was absolutely vital, it allowed you to help people, while also having the dangerous power of hurting others. Talking and listening can be a tool for savour or a weapon of death. And, Patrolling the Mojave really makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

It's not their game. I'm certain plenty of Bethesda devs saw New Vegas as a masterpiece. Its the pen-pushers at ZeniMax doing most of the corporate decisions such as remastering Skyrim 13 times.
I bought this game 2 years ago not even knowing anything about fallout I played it one day and got hooked like never before, this game changed me man and I'm playing it to this day
This trailer really does feel like the developers saying "Look! Look at all the things we put! You'll have a blast!" It's very charming and alluring. 10/10 masterpiece.
It would be better if the new ''fallout nv'' took place in northern nevada with the 80s, caliente and the tribals from the area. but still hyped anyway.
Yeah honestly I don't think it should be completely in the mojave, maybe just the entire state of nevada, or at least it will show all of the various biomes of the state

It wasn't just time that limited them, apparently the game was meant to be way bigger than it was and supposedly you can play once you finished. But due to limitations on the old gen consoles, they were unable to do so

I have to admit, I was one of those people who just scoffed at this around the time of this trailer as a lousy cash-in cheaply reusing Fallout 3's engine, which was pretty dated already by this point. But sweet jesus, the improvements to the RPG mechanics, the sheer quality of the writing, this became so much more...
dude also the addtion of iron sight made the game much better. i played Fallout 2 back in the days and i totally loved it. i dont mind the vats system because that game is literally turnbase system. but i disliked the vat system in fallout 3 because i want to play it as normal first person shooter, dont get me wrong though. i love fallout 3 but the Iron sight in NV made the game much more enjoyable.
What’s super funny to me is that when this game dropped, it flew off shelves. Then within literally like 3 months...the game was listed at like $25 new (down from $60). I asked the dude at GameStop “why so cheap so soon?” He replied that the game was getting bad reviews and hardcore Fallout fans didn’t like it. I bought it. Loved it. Didn’t understand why people hated it. 10 years later...it’s considered a cult classic and arguably the best in the series

Also SPOILS THE ENDING! (Prydwen wrecked and Institute nuked) and new power armor. In essence, pretty much like the trailer of fallout 3
Etu Bokshi You can’t compare Fallout 1/2 to the new games. Fallout 3 and 4 aren’t true fallout games because they aren’t RPGs. They’re just action shooters with minor rpg elements. New Vegas is the closest thing, and would’ve been so much better but only had a year to develop NV.

Bethesda has always been salty and vindictive when it comes to Fallout New Vegas; New Vegas is like the successful older child and Bethesda is that jealous and salty parent who hates him cause he's better than him
Perhaps the greatest fallout and possibly one of the best rpgs to ever exist. It was better than 3, it was better 4, and it most certainly was better than 76.
"We don't do remasters" Todd Howard said over and over and over during E3 interviews. It would be nice to get a 10year anniversary, I'll admit but that's pretty much what it is, no remasters. I wouldn't get your hopes up. Starfield better impress.

what i loved about new vegas compared to the other fallouts is that it didn't feel dark at al even charming at times at some points it felt relaxing and beautful , just imagine sitting on a chair with easy pete looking at the golden mojave desert from afar while while rocking big iron, you feel like a badass cowboy

@@BigDan98 Fallout 3 is a solid ok. Fallout 4 is a steaming pile of dogshit without mods. Fallout New Vegas is godlike even when vanilla. With mods, it is unbelievable. You really need to play FNV it's amazing.
Sealing Fan I play it too, it’s just really underwhelming compared to the other titles. For example, lack of choice. In FNV, when the Powder Gangers come for Ringo in Goodsprings you have a choice. You can help Goodsprings fight off the Powder Gangers or help the Powder Gangers. Such choice isn’t present as much in FO4. One place where that type of choice should have been implemented is where you rescue Preston. You should have been given the option to help the Raiders kill Preston and everyone in there and the raiders would have been the faction to join up with like what is done with the minutemen. It just feels more restricted than the other games.

War (it never changes) - 2077 Fallout - 2161 (War + 84) Fallout 2 - 2241 (F1 + 80) Fallout 3 - 2277 (F2 + 36) New Vegas = 2281 (F3 + 4) I played FNV 5 years ago and ever since I loved it. I thought it was Amazing! Fallout New Vegas Is why I came to be Interested in FALLOUT and why I love the other Fallout games. But FNV, will always be my favorite, maybe it was because of the nostalgia, or the story, or maybe its something else. The Mojave kept calling me back into its Emptiness, yet dangerous world that I could get lost to for hours on end. Please let obsidian make another Fallout game!!
The Courier is easily the most powerful and skilled character in the series. The Lone Wanderer, Chosen One and Vault Dweller always had the power of forces behind them but the Courier took out a fucking army with him.
He/she didn't survive 1, he/she survived 2, and if you learnt to read. You would see that I was typing about how he/she was the most powerful. So what is your problem?
when I first played this game, with little to no info whatsoever, I wasn't expecting the amount of immersion that I was about to get into.. I felt like I genuinely was this courier, exploring an immense, unruly wasteland, investigating vaults and unveiling their secrets, and the stories of its people! And then helping them.. or killing them! I truly felt the weight of my choices as if it was the real thing.. like my actions would actually come back to get me at any time! throughout the day, I couldn't stop thinking about it, how to help who, how to solve this, how to fix that, and what would I find next..? unfortunately, I never finished the actual main quest due to extreme lag issues.. and then my ps3 died.. but even so, and ever since, I haven't been able to find a game that brings me the same feelings as Fallout New Vegas, you know? a game that makes me curious, thoughtful, sad, joyful, afraid.. invested! this game along with the dlc's is a true gem, and I can't wait to get a pc and play it all over again
I agree. You should really play it on pc. It runs fairly decent on a potato (4gb) if you don't have a ton of mods installed. The modding community is also one of the best folks out there that can bring hours of more gameplay to the game. Some mods are basically free DLCs. My favorite ones are probably the cut content restoration mods and huge content dumps like Autumn Leaves. Game can crash a lot with many mods installed but the community can help you figure out what's wrong.
It makes the Bethesda entries look like bad games and they're better than the majority of games that come out. 3 and 4 anyway, 76 is hilariously terrible.

+Ervan Solihin Fallout 4 is not a post-apocalyptic RPG. Its literally stripped of all the post-apocalyptic things except radiation and the locations. There no longer is anything to strive to survive, the RPG elements are dumber than skyrim's system, no durability system so its basically a glorified Borderlands shooter style game. Its an ok-game but definitively not worthy to call a REAL fallout game imo.
+Ervan Solihin I'll be honest I have not played Fallout 3 but man do I love New Vegas because everything you did mattered to some degree. S.P.E.C.I.A.L points were spread out more to definite skills and you can see everything you were about to say. While the shooting is nicer in 4 New Vegas is always fun to go back to because I had a difficult time choosing factions and searching the vaults. Vaults in the past games were way more huge that 4! Like way bigger.
This game is like no other. It's one of those rare pieces of art where journeying through a world gives you such a strong and uplifting sense of comfort. It really makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

During my time playing New Vegas, I never touched the "special" ammo. I don't know why, but to me, standard rounds were the go to thing for me to buy.

Sealing Fan I play it too, it’s just really underwhelming compared to the other titles. For example, lack of choice. In FNV, when the Powder Gangers come for Ringo in Goodsprings you have a choice. You can help Goodsprings fight off the Powder Gangers or help the Powder Gangers. Such choice isn’t present as much in FO4. One place where that type of choice should have been implemented is where you rescue Preston. You should have been given the option to help the Raiders kill Preston and everyone in there and the raiders would have been the faction to join up with like what is done with the minutemen. It just feels more restricted than the other games.

when I first played this game, with little to no info whatsoever, I wasn't expecting the amount of immersion that I was about to get into..
I felt like I genuinely was this courier, exploring an immense, unruly wasteland, investigating vaults and unveiling their secrets, and the stories of its people! And then helping them.. or killing them! I truly felt the weight of my choices as if it was the real thing.. like my actions would actually come back to get me at any time!
throughout the day, I couldn't stop thinking about it, how to help who, how to solve this, how to fix that, and what would I find next..?
unfortunately, I never finished the actual main quest due to extreme lag issues.. and then my ps3 died.. but even so, and ever since, I haven't been able to find a game that brings me the same feelings as Fallout New Vegas, you know? a game that makes me curious, thoughtful, sad, joyful, afraid.. invested!
this game along with the dlc's is a true gem, and I can't wait to get a pc and play it all over again
I agree. You should really play it on pc. It runs fairly decent on a potato (4gb) if you don't have a ton of mods installed. The modding community is also one of the best folks out there that can bring hours of more gameplay to the game. Some mods are basically free DLCs. My favorite ones are probably the cut content restoration mods and huge content dumps like Autumn Leaves. Game can crash a lot with many mods installed but the community can help you figure out what's wrong.

There no longer is anything to strive to survive, the RPG elements are dumber than skyrim's system, no durability system so its basically a glorified Borderlands shooter style game.
Its an ok-game but definitively not worthy to call a REAL fallout game imo.
+Ervan Solihin I'll be honest I have not played Fallout 3 but man do I love New Vegas because everything you did mattered to some degree. S.P.E.C.I.A.L points were spread out more to definite skills and you can see everything you were about to say. While the shooting is nicer in 4 New Vegas is always fun to go back to because I had a difficult time choosing factions and searching the vaults.
Vaults in the past games were way more huge that 4! Like way bigger.
