It was so much fun seeing you and Joerg standing in front of Edith's castle! I really appreciate all the thought and effort you put into entertaining us...thank you!
You never disappoint, it's great being an armchair traveler while going with you guys. As always the music was spot on and the drone footage was spectacular, always enjoy seeing that. Looked like some really rugged terrain around that area.
So beautiful. It's amazing people used to live in those places. They probably never thought that others would enjoy what they left behind. Thank you for sharing 💕
I agree with everyone's comments! You two are making all my dreams of seeing the UK come true. I can't imagine having the opportunity to go all the places you've been, so will be forever in your debt for creating these enchanting videos with the stunning drone footage which truly take my breath away. I love starting and ending my days with the two of you. With so much craziness in the world, you help us feel grounded.
My kids grew up with Harry Potter...I still remember the late night trips to the bookstore when a new book came out...good times. Thanks for the nice video. Goodnight and keep safe!
Thank you for your very interesting videos that inspire adventure, beauty and knowledge. You and Joerg take us to places that we may not be able to see for ourselves, and that means so much to us. Looking forward to many, many more of your videos. Keep sharing!
Don’t worry about your outfit, you always look well dressed! Sometimes rain puts a damper on plans, but you never fail to bring us gorgeous videos! The birds singing is pure music to our ears!
That looked like fun and I thought the fog added to the atmospheric shot. I noticed they are filming some of the new Indiana Jones film at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland at the moment, so thought perhaps you had gone to take part!!!!. Such a treat to sit down and watch the two of you. Great video as usual.
It was so lovely! The fog at Dunstanburgh really added to the charm, we really loved it there. Oh they do? To be honest, I had no idea! Can't blame them to choose such a stunning location.
Another great film, with some of the best drone-shots I have seen of Hadrian's Wall. It was a game of two halves (to use a football term) with the weather for you, but I would take the mist of Dunstanburgh anytime, over the crowds at Alnwick. Ethereal.
If you love castles and ruins then Northumberland is the place to be . I love it , it's wonderful up there . You're very much like me in the way you prefer to be away from the tourists . Fabulous video as always .
Danke. Fürs teilen Stay Safe😍
Gorgeous video❣️ my favourite part is when you (Kirsten) helped Joerg up and then you gave one another a cuddle 🥰 Once again, thank you for this and all your hard work to help make all our lives a more beautiful place~ 💕kristina
Amazing castles, splendid views! The mist and sounds of birds had special effects on this video. Although history remains changed, with each visit, it seems to refresh us. I almost recall enjoying fish & chips, a favourite in our UK visit.
Kirsten & Joerg. Beautiful countryside. Really love the airial shots. The fog made the ruens look cool. Although I think you would have wanted a little better weather. We love escaping to the British countryside with you and Joerg. Have a wonderful weekend. Cheers Ron & Dovie. 🇩🇪🇬🇧🇺🇸😎
I have been to Alnwick castle and I agree it is lovely inside I thought you may have gone into the Garden display area too. I was on my way to Holy Island Beautiful filming as always thank you xx
You both offer everything with your videos. Castles, gorgeous scenery both on the ground and aerial views, ocean views, adorable wildlife ie. sheep (not so wild), horses (loved that white horse), good food, and always good fashion. Kirsten you always look so nicely dressed and fashionable for sightseeing and Joerg always looks very stylish with a masculine spin. You guys are fun and I love your vlogs. Thank you for all the hard work that looks so fabulous!!
I agree the fog and the ruins make it look very ancient. The Roman Fort is incredible. Hadrian was an amazing Emperor, I have quite a few of his coins. What an incredible place for a picnic. There is a mystery writer called LJ Ross who has one titled Sycamore Gap at Hadrian’s Wall. Thanks for the great drone footage of the wall
Herz was willst du mehr ?
I love you, you are my favorite couple! you are fun, you are cultured, sweet, I love to travel with you through your work and videos. thank you for sharing yourselves with us. I always look forward to your experiences!
On and done for the busy castle. Second sight the best with cold, fog, mist, wind, sheep and the sea. Great views of Hadrian’s Wall. I had to refresh my history of this wall. Until next time take care. Safe travels
Did you see Harry Potter!! Oh yes dinner in the staterooms would be such a wonderful treat and you could always hire period costumes!! That would be fun!
Another fantastic video. Thank you. Beautiful castles and I love Hadrians wall.. It was built on a key geological feature formed during the formation of the British Isles😊, which was beautifully visable with your drone footage 👍.. Love that you showed "the famous tree" used in the Robin Hood film with Kevin Costner 😊. Looking forward to your Jane Austin trip. A friend of mine just did a Bronte sisters trip this last bank holiday weekend, and sent me photos😊.
I have really enjoyed seeing all the spots you take us to. I have been dreaming of going to Italy when travel is okay from the US. I am beginning to rethink my travel plans as Italy is so crowded. You have shown places where I feel the countryside is beautiful and there is not a lot of traffic, crowds, or souvenirs. Thank you for showing Great Britain beyond the usual places.
Hi!! We loved your video. It’s so beautiful. I am in a Pride and Prejudice Facebook group. I just saw they posted about your upcoming Jane Austen video. I can’t wait too. When we can my husband and I are traveling from Oregon to see Jane Austen house/world as soon as restrictions are lifted. Have a beautiful day. Xx Becki
Hi Rebecca, Oh wow, that's amazing! We will publish part 1 tomorrow, it will be a little bit shorter, the second one will definitely be longer and is so exciting we think. Have a lovely week.
Are you familiar with the author Catherine Cookson ? She was born and brought up in the north east in early 1900’s , in very humble beginnings . Many of her stories were made into period dramas set in and filmed in Northumberland/north east . Check her out if you haven’t. Very much enjoy your videos and if you are ever up by fort William it would be lovely to meet you and show you some more sights up here x
Just sat down with my tea and Kirsten and Joerg! I love a windy rugged coast...just as much as warm sunny day. The drone footage from 16:45 on was breath taking. The countryside, the music...enough to bring tears to a tender heart. Thank you once again for taking my breath away, just wonderful. Following the two of you for over a year now has brought moments of quiet and peace as well as fun and adventure. You have helped to make 2020/2021 more bearable for many. God bless you both. Take care. 😘😘
Just when I think I’ve seen your best video, another brilliant one arrives! Such beauty-and your appreciation for it is so evident! Can’t wait for Jane Austen road trip! Thank you ❤️ for taking us in the US with you! 🇬🇧
The castle was so big. Love to see the beautiful landscape and sheep. Now I'm hungry ffg or fish and chips and watch Harry Potter Thank you for sharing your video. You make my week go so much better with your adventures. Love from Texas❤❤❤🤠
oh I loved the last part best - One of the reasons I love your walks and tours is that even if I could afford the travel, I could never walk as long and far at my age - so again THANK YOU for taking me with you two.
Absolutely beautiful Kirsten and Joerg. Though it's wonderful to see that things are opening up, at the same time I've loved your adventures when it seems it's only the two of you. There is indeed an indescribable "feeling" when there isn't others around chattering and breaking the solitude. Thank you for another wonderful experience. Linda in Wisconsin, USA
Thanks so much Linda! To be honest with you, we do prefer that as well and Alnwick was a bit of an exception, far too busy for our taste. We prefer less busy places with less people and mostly go first thing when the gates open to have some peace and quiet for filming.
It was so much fun seeing you and Joerg standing in front of Edith's castle! I really appreciate all the thought and effort you put into entertaining us...thank you!
Thanks so much Rita! We expected a dinner invitation from Lady Edith but alas, nothing :)
@@KirstenJoerg That was Lady Edith's loss!

God Bless you Both💜
Love how beautiful the country is there!
It really is!
Yes all the rain we get helps keep it lush and green. Every cloud has a silver lining! 😀
As an American, it's really fun to experience the different parts of the UK with you. You always make it special!
Northumberland is one of the most underestimated parts of the UK.
I spent so many holidays there...miss it so much...thank you Kirsten & Jörg
Thank you! I LOVE castles and their history!🤗🤗🤗❤️
So glad you like it Dianne!

Oh yes - Yes the over-touristy places aren’t really our cup of tea. We made the same experience with Blenheim, not a favourite of ours.
Beautiful loving Couple nice video information about castle like that lush green country side lovely👍👍👍🌹🌷🌹🌷🌹🌺🌺👍🌹🌷

Another great video guys.
I will go to Northumberland and see that ruined castle. It looked so mysterious in the fog... wonderful.

You are correct, the foggy weather adds to the Romantic atmosphere, "Jane." Later with that promontory more like "Heathcliff." It was lovely.
I have been to Alnwick castle and I agree it is lovely inside I thought you may have gone into the Garden display area too. I was on my way to Holy Island Beautiful filming as always thank you xx
We didn't go to the Garden because we didn't book extra tickets, we think all in all it's far too expensive so we opted against it I'm afraid.
