    We had MORryde IS installed on our Cyclone back in 2018 and we have never looked back! Excellent customer service and even greater product. We had our IS and alignment checked in 2022 and everything was still perfect. We have been fulltime since 2015. So many fellow fulltimers told us back in 2018 we were wasting our hard earned money on this upgrade and we would never recover what we spent. Let me tell you the peace of mind and the ride are worth every penny we spent for sure and today IS is more popular than ever! Great product!

    MORryde took such good care of us when we were there this June! Hayden was excellent to deal with and our system was beat up after 85,000 kms. IS is the only saviour when you're on the road putting on the miles! I really believed this was a great addition to our GD 399TH.

    Seems you guys were very lucky and Alliance must have pulled some strings to get you to MORryde so fast! We had our I.S. upgrade done in May, after making the reservation for the job back in 2021!!!!! They are so backed up all the time. Although we aren't full-time, and don't plan on it, just part timers, and our 5th wheel is half the weight of yours, we still felt it was $10,000 well spent dollars for the ride and longevity of our rig. In 2021 we spent the $14,000 for our solar package and we now primarily dry camp, so our investment has been paying off for us.

      So in full discloser we have been planning this for some time now, plus we are MORryde Affiliates so that didn't hurt. We couldn't agree more with you , between IS and a good Solar System you can get a lot of things out of your RV you might not have been able to before!!

    Always drive I-220 around Shreveport, LA and Bossier City, LA when you have your Camper with you unless you are wanting to go to the Casinos or to Bass Pro. Nicer road. Also, currently I-20 from the Red River (after the I-220 East exit) thru Bossier City (just after the I-220 West exit) is under construction. I drive a F-350 dually and will not drive through the construction because of how narrow the lanes are. Commercial vehicles are suppose to use I-220 but most do not and have paid the price for driving I-20 by getting stuck or flipping over during inclement weather. Notice of caution!!!

    Wow thanks for the video I’ve never seen or heard of this before and must say looks to be the best and I’m a huge advocate of upgrading suspension . I’ve done the equalizers,wet bolts and summo springs and am designing custom shock absorber brackets as well but that’s it. These are all relatively inexpensive and can be done at home . We are only seasonal weekend warriors at this point and don’t put a lot of miles on trailer so won’t be upgrading to IS but I clearly see it is the best thing out there I’m envious . I noticed not much footage of the instal ,and the Price I know if you have to ask it’s not for you.
    Reducing or in your case eliminating the bounce is huge thanks for video now I know .

I was wondering if you have heard of or looked into the Happijak system? the ( happijak bed lift System) essentially just like your slide outs move forward and back words, this lift can elevate the bed up to the ceiling when its not in use. and lower it to what ever level is most comfortable to your mother. I seen this bed system when I was horse showing and my friends removed their golf cart and lowered the bed so I had a bed to sleep on. its a really great system I think will benefit you guys a lot.

    The safety aspect of electric over hydraulic vs all electric drum can be misunderstood. Electric drum brakes are more safety oriented than electric over hydraulic discharge brakes. Mainly because the hydraulic brakes have no check valve to prevent brake fluid loss from being isolated to a single wheel position like what you might see if a tire blow out occurs. Brake line is damaged or ripped away from the caliper and all brake fluid dumps from the Hydrastar master cylinder MorRyde uses. This means if you have a blow out with hydraulic brakes you also have a high potential to also lose all trailer brake function.
    If this same scenario occurred on electric drum brakes the affected wheel position is isolated and the remaining wheels brakes will still function.
    Something to consider before praising the upgrade to disc. It’s a real issue. I know this as I have MorRyde IS factory installed on 390RK and though I didn’t experience a blow out I had a caliper hose back off and leak out all fluid from the Hydrastar pump motor. Brakes were completely non functional. So to me the sums brakes albeit less overall braking ability is redundant when you really need it to be and hydraulic disc as used by RV manufacturers of fifth wheels are not. Maybe they will add a proportioning valve or one way check valve that prevents total fluid loss but at this time that is not the case. Something to consider!

    • @Millers_in_Motion
      @Millers_in_Motion  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So I agree and disagree, yes in emergency situations the drum brakes can defiantly give more. Now in your day to day driving I have ALOT more stopping power. We also have plans to be in the mountains and I’d rather have Disk over drum with some of the passes and grades coming down. Thanks for interacting! We always love hearing all sides!

    So here's a huge dilemma we're running into. We are considering another brand of well-known toy hauler. It already has Dexter disc brakes but the CRE-3000 suspension.
    I asked my dealer about having the MORryde I/S done to it after we purchased because it was very important to me. In fact, we already have an appointment with MORryde in February. After contacting the manufacturer and then talking to Lippert, Lippert stated anything welded to their existing frames VOIDS THE WARRANTY for their frame.
    So now they are talking to the factory rep for the camper and although he claims the camper manufacturer will take care of me on any frame issues, I have yet to get it in writing. They are now in discussion on the specifics and what, if anything, will be put in writing. They know the entire sale of this camper is hinging on this decision.
    That being said, as good as the MORryde I/S is, make sure it will not void your warranty. Lippert doesn't like people (even MORryde) grinding and welding on their frames.

    • @Millers_in_Motion
      @Millers_in_Motion  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      So here's the kicker, anything that is added to a part of a RV that is deemed to have caused damage to another part voids the damaged parts warranty. Technically Grand Design adding the MORryde Pin Box to the can void a warranty, if and only if the MORryde pin box where to damage the frame. AS far as warranty chat with MORryde because they may warranty the frame if there part (IS) where to cause damage.
      There are work arounds all over the place! One of the bad pars of the industry is what you experienced, companies just sit around and point the finger at each other...

    Hey Ryan, this Drew. I have a question about the IS weight. I read that the IS weight is double from the stock Alliance suspension system. How does this affect the overall Rig weight? Does this affect cargo weight or just all to tow weight? Thank you and we are praying for Lauren's mom. See yall in Tampa.

    • @Millers_in_Motion
      @Millers_in_Motion  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Drew! So it does affect your overall weight. I believe the IS adds about 150 to 200 lbs more to you overall weight. Now if you upgrade from the 7k axles to the 8K IS it will add to you GVWR. With that being said nothing can legally make you sticker GVWR weight go up (Laws and all) but for us we had plenty of cargo in our Valor with the stickers GVWR we just wanted to know that we where beyond solid in the running gear! Plus the ride is 1,000% better than anything we have ever towed before!!

    million dollar question, WHY was this NOT an option from the start, your UPGRADE should have been done at stage 1. @@Millers_in_Motion I understand that kind of, but for the average joe-blow like me and a million others to go get updates and changes to better this or that, right after we paid a buttload for the new rig that same day in most cases not a reality. Those things should have been included,
      I wish that these companies would offer their standard and popular models with an option for the average RVer to pick out what is put in just for them.
      I have a Thor 20TB toy hauler that had a blowout the cheap plastic wheel well could not stop both tires from taking out just about half the park side. 8 months ago I started to fix the stuff torn up. After the third friend suggested we either take it down to frame and build it our way, not staples, real storage, opened floor to the sweet spot that the toy is balanced.
      Wiring, plumbing, and other routing will be done with purpose labeled, neat, and clean with raceways dedicated to future updates without reinventing the wheel.
      Are you carrying a toy? How do you deal with the weight or no weight when it is not there.
      It would be great if we could slide the tandem to a better location as needed. Semi-trailers can do it.

    • @Millers_in_Motion

      SO at the end of the day you will end up paying about the same amount of your RV with IS if it came from the factory that way or you have it installed (the labor ends up being about the same)
      So we dont cary much of a toy, we just have E-Bikes and a rather large for RVing smoker. We had a tradition 5th wheel before this, and because we struggled to stay under GVWR (as well as a bunch of other things) we wanted to switch out to a Toy Hauler for the added weight tolerances. When you say ''boondocking'' do you mean not a park but land middle of nowhere without RV services?
    But if you are talking about going ''off-road'' you are trying to get to places that will force one wheel to be inches or foot off the ground then you are fooling yourself.
    There is nothing MorRyde or anyone can make that will let the beast go BaJa without twisting or breaking the frame.
    On another subject, and more important, drivers who make comments on video while driving at any speed on public roads are just dangerous and frankly unprofessional.
    You are not by far the only one, it was just after I finished watching a great documentary about this subject. It is a collection of people who like yourself, myself, and many others think that nothing could happen it was just for a ''second'' that you looked away.
    I didn't add up the ''seconds'' you looked away I will let you do that, hint TOO MANY.
    'In a Blink of an eye, your life and possible others could change forever!
    I love your videos and I want to keep watching for years to come, but I can wait till you are safely parked.
    Safe Travels.

      So when we say "Boondocking" it is definitely way more about services available not taking this thing off roading!! As far as videoing when driving, I hear you, our mount broke earlier this day that holds the camera, but it's back in action. Plus most times Lauren is with me to film and make comments! We appreciate the support!!
